Better flash the modem file of the stock rom over which you installed carbon rom.
That hopefully works. If not try flashing any other jellybean modem. GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the reply. I will find out modem file.
I cant find modem file for my baseband versio.
It says I9192DDu1BML1
Someone please I am pretty confused.
my base band says I9192.
But when i tried to install serranods(9192) I got error 'yours is serranolte(9195) installation aborted'.
So i installed carbon rom pertaining to serranolte.
I am having india version of s4 mini.

If you have the stock firmware from your device then extract the non-hlos.bin file from that rom and pack that file as tar.md5. Then flash that tar.md5 as AP / PDA on ODIN. That will update modem. You may have to flash that tar file more than once if you don't succeed in one attempt.
Have you installed the correct version of the ROM? If you have the I9195, why does it appear I9192?
Try to flash the modem for the I9195, the CNE6 version: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545784

Hey guys
I have been flashing a lot of roms lately on my device.. last flash was from Omega Rom v30 android v 4.4.2 to CM 12.1 android v 5.0.1 [Nandroid backup to Omega Rom done]
when i flashed CM 12.1 everything was fine and i just had a kernel issue so i reflashed the rom with the proper kernel .. yet when i rebooted this last flash my phone didn't recognize my sim card anymore... i went to see my IMEI *#06# and was null ..
So i did my restore downgrade to Omega rom again and the problem was not solved...
Why did the nandroid not get my Efs back??
How to solve this issue ?
NB: I have an Exynos chip
