Hi,
I have had my Galaxy for a few weeks, but it wasn't until a few days ago I decided to install the hacked camera apk via SGS-tools.
And now I have noticed that every app I have tried that uses the camera in some way crashes. So I really want to restore the original camera apk, but can't find that option i SGS-tools.
So please help, what to do? Is there a download link for the original apk?
Thanks in advance.
If someone knows, please help. I have a lot of awesome apps I would love to try out
Can restore it via adb.

Could you elaborate that for me please? I don't know what that is, and then how to do it.
Thanks!
I was experimenting with some root apps and accidently deleted my backup for those root apps. If somebody could upload those files than I will be very thankful as its gonna save me a full wipe.
The files needed are for xdll4 firmware as detailed in the pic attached.
Older firmware files didn't work.
The files are located in system/apps
1. Seccontacts.apk
2. Seccontacts.odex
3. Seccontactsprovider.apk
4. Seccontactsprovider.odex
5. Secphone.apk
6. Secphone.odex
7. Secemail.apk (not sure abt this name , its the default sammy emaul client 4.0)
8. Secemail.odex
Plz try to mention your firmware if you are posting these files. Thanx for the help
As a bit of help, you should be able to dl any rom image to a computer and explode it to its various parts. From there you can use various tools to expand any img files. Linux is easy, and if you're on windows I recommend using cygwin. There are many how-tos on the net to help with this process.

I am already trying to download the stock rom from samfirmware and its a non-resumable hotfile link. My internet connection is terrible as it takes 6 hours to download the rom.
So I expected to ask for help if I could resolve my problem without downloading the rom.
Anyways thanx for the reply.

Oh man that's awful. Guessing you're still on stock or don't have the rom you flashed with.
I'll try and help you in awhile when I'm home and see if I can't post some of those for you if you don't already have progress

Thank you in advance for any and all help provided,
I switched from my HTC G2 to a S4 and I want a notification sound that my G2 had on my S4. If I root the G2 can I extract and use the sound on my S4? If not is there another way to extract the sounds/alerts?
I'm sure once you root, you can use a file manager such as root browser and search the system files for the sound you want

Thank you for the reply,
Would you know what file by name I should look for? I am not to "phone techie" but I can manage..
You don't need to extract it from your phone most likely, just find a stock ROM for the g2 and download it.
The notification sounds will all be in
/system/media/audio/notifications
Then you can just install to sdcard on new phone
But if you root your g2 it will make a much better backup device

Thank you so much for the assistance,
Ok so I will just look for a stock ROM and look for the sound file. Sounds easy enough to do. Thank you all for the help with this matter.

Thank you all for the help,
After some searching I found the rom and YES!!!! I got the sound bite from it.
Does anyone have an installable APK or flashable zip file for the stock note 8 s-note app?
Alternatively how do I pull if off the stock 4.2.2 ROM myself?
Thanks

I have posted a file for side loading, just search for it in the Q&A threads.
You do not have to flash to make it work.
Your the second one to request such a thing, and makes me wonder why these things are getting deleted when they have no remove feature in settings.
I think people going overboard "debloating" and or freezing/uninstalling to much with TB
Anywho you could try to use 7zip and extract the apk from a flashable Rom
Hoping this helps

Thanks for the responses. This has nothing to do with de-bloat or even missing APKs.
I have been using YKK's 4.3 TW Note 3 ported ROM, and his ROM only has the Note version of s-Notes which does not have speech recognition and formula match in it.
I would like to grab the APK from the stock ROM S-Note and see if I can install and use it with his ROM. That is all.
Gooberdude, Is this the thread you mean?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2685544
If so, is th is the same as S-Note ?
@rezadue Check your PM and let me know if that is what you was after
Hoping this helps

FYI, the APKs are not enough to make it work on 4.3
It keep crashing on me.
Thanks for the help anyway.

It was worth giving a try, and I guess that's is why I try to stay away from ported Rom's, I never had any luck with them there was always something that wouldn't work quite right.

Is there a mod or zip I could flash to enable this feature? It truly is my only must have custom feature! Thanks in advance!

You need to root your phone, then download sense 6toolbox, you'll find option in there
Yeah I'm already rooted and running kangakat. I prefer ART hence no xposed. Was hoping there was a file I could modify or maybe even a zip I could flash for this stand alone feature. Thanks for the feedback tho
