Yes it is the same base, but it has less bloat than in carriers builds. Also boot animation is pure LG.

For now the only career builds that were launched was Vodafone and the only thing different was the boot and shutdown animation that included the Vodafone logo.
Everything else is the same.
You could have posted this on other thread already open but that's just me saying.
I'm not criticizing but if every time a build is launched and everything is the same as others, and everyone opens threads for that then we will have many fragmented and useless threads.

I just updated my brothers Optimus G E975 with this firmware and it works like a charm. And this is also the first time I encountered flashing an LG phone, so I am kind of a newbie, here . I did it by folowing this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190&highlight=root) metodh. And in that thread there is a debate about red ROOTED signal in download mode after using that tool on G2, something like samsung flash counter on SGS2 if I am correct? Anyway, I am wondering does this affect Optimus G too? Because I wouldn't like to have any problems if I ever had to take that phone to service centre.

Hi,
I read somewhere that optimus g hasn't any flash counter. I send my g to service cause radio error. G was flashed several times and before sendig to service just reverted to stock via kdz flash. They send me back my phone with new mainboard. So i think they can't check how many times you flash it.

Will work from anywhere. You can flash this on any rom. The only thing is you should be able to boot into bootloader mode.:thumbup:

I'm not sure is you should have an unlocked bootloader for this. Anyways, I guess it should work. You can try.

I don't have never unlock the bootloader, my moto g is All stock...

i just downloaded RETAILDSDSALL_XT1068_5.0.2_LXB22.46-28_cid7_CFC.xml this has 5 system.img_sparsechunk files and this script only flashes 4 ! would it not cause bootloop

I think it's obvious that the OP was refering to flashing stock Kit Kat firmware. After all the thread was started a couple of days ago, and the lollipop firmware was uploaded 6-7 hours ago.

Ok, so is the file on file factory? If yes, I have the secret to download that file from file factory.
Download Advanced Download Manager from the Play Store.
Under download settings, change all preferences like in the screenshot.
Then start the download and keep it downloading overnight.( only because that's the time we have the most patience)
Wake up, and you'll have the file downloaded!

Just for make sure, i need to unlock my bootloader and install TWRP recovery?
I've found TWRP 2.8.4.0 for titan, should it work?

Maybe unlocking bootloader is necessary but twrp is not necessary. And that's for sure:thumbup:

From what I understand in the original thread it's 5.0. Only the G4 already has 5.1 I think

It is 5.0.2. Be careful cause some people reported that this rom has a backled problem.

not rly a problem it' s just that the led around the power button stays on. I believed it was a kernel problem so try to flash dorimanx kernel over it.

Some apps display notifications with a black background which makes it difficult to read the text. Is there any way to fix this?
In this example the app causing this is MailWise.

You can go to the Gpro2 V5 by acura thread and you can find the fix there. This is just a copy from the vietnamise people, cause they have the same bug.

If I want to get back to kitkat based roms i.e., Cloudy G2 can I get back normally? Or Can I restore backup from TWRP..?

That depends. What bootloader does BlossROM requires?
This one uses Simple ROM Grola bootloader or Lollipop bootloader.

On my D800 LED is off. Ony my friend's G2 LED was on but with low brightness. Whenever there is a call the LED turns on with full brightness

Requirements:
You must have TWRP 2.8.7+ installed to use these files. Thanks to Dees_Troy as always for that. And, of course, you must have your bootloader unlocked for TWRP to work. Please do not ask if "model x" is supported... did you unlock via LG's official unlock tool? Yes? then you can use it. No? then you can't.

OK fixed zips are up. Just use the newest 2.8.7 official TWRP and all good to go.
Will get around to making a proper (and safe) bootloader zip at some point today. Not really needed right this second... system/boot/modem should keep y'all entertained for now.

if by block you mean "re-lock".. then no. it can return you to stock.. but as LG explained on their unlock page... you cannot relock.

Flashing the main zip will do, the other zips are for troubleshooting/problem purposes :good:

Some kind of bug
There's a problem in my statusbar. When my phone is not rotated I cannot click or view the other shortcuts but when my phone is landscaped their perfectly working. Hope you can tell me what to do because I tried reinstalling the rom and nothing changed.

Thank you .... will be updated in the coming days .... You can install it from your root Recovery ... The flaw in the taskbar are corrected by replacing systemui file but the problem after the change occurs Other errors

Where can I find that systemui file you mentioned?

I installed this Rom and found that screen lock is not working and having FC
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk
