SlimSaber: Uber toolchain 4.9.4
Nebula Kernel: Uber toolchain 6.0
Disclaimer
I'm not responsible for any damages on your device.
The focus is to optimize the ROM in many areas and compiled it with custom toolchain Uber for more performance and smoothness.
SlimRoms was choosen as a base because it is a lightweight and not a bloated ROM, but it still has rich features. Combined with some of CM features, I bake a ROM that has more useful features but still lightweight.
The ROM and the kernel are tested by me first before I make it available online. I could have overseen something during testing, please be understanding.
Installation instructions
Coming from stock or another ROM:
Full wipe: system, data, cache, dalvik cache.
Flash the SlimSaber build.
Flash gapps from here
Flash latest SuperSU from here
Coming from previous SlimSaber build:
Flash the SlimSaber build.
No need to wipe dalvik-cache. The system will do it anyway if it needs to.
No need to re-flash gapps. Gapps will be restored back automatically by backup tool during flashing.
Known Issues
"Prevent accidental wake up" display option causes black screen when incoming call comes in
Disable it for the time being, until the bug is fixed

I will become a really happy camper if this becomes a fully supported ROM. Still using your RR 5.1 and very hesitant to change.

I was thinking about seeing about maybe being official. Considering this ROM is slightly modified the slimlp dev team might not let me. Either way, I think this is a pretty solid ROM. It doesn't have a lot of customizations, but its pretty darn close to aosp code.

Very excited for this. Thank you and hope all works well.

I see you keeping busy with the D851 love and I appreciate your efforts. I'll be trying this one very soon.

I had just downloaded (but not flashed) the 0.8 build from the Slim site before seeing this. No question which one I'm going to flash now. ?

Thanks for making this available. I clean flashed this last night, and it's very smooth but the camera app doesn't start, anyone else?

I'll retry a clean flash later, back on Bliss for now - but obviously I must have done something wrong there

I can dig how it users nebula kernel right off the bat, very cool addition to the d851 lineup

I did a clean flash of
Slim-d851-5.1.1.beta.0.8-UNOFFICIAL-20151002-1502
+ Slim_mini_gapps.BETA.5.1.build.0.x-20150922
almost everything worked ok but Clock, when tried to setup or edit an alarm just crashed, tried twice, clean flashes wiping all except internal & external.

No problem - I've been wanting to find a ROM that supports Bluetooth LE (apart from the stock ROM) so if it works here, that'd be really amazing! I have a bluetooth LE device so I can test it out and see if it does work.

Thanks for releasing this rom @aclegg2011. I've been testing it for a few days now and it's my daily driver. Everything available works. Except rro layers but thats less important. 39c idle temp when I was always running at 50c before and the battery lasted 24hrs of normal usage the first day I installed it.
*edit*
I'm using open gapps pico. I also have still not gotten voice recognition working but I'm pretty sure other people have.

Everything working perfect with opengapps. I tried slimgapps but had clock fcs.
Feature Request for Contacts app:
- There is not Groups tab on Contacts so cannot make any group operation like send a message to a group.
- Custom Fields, would be very good to be able to add custom fields.
Very good job done with this rom, actually more than a very good job, but to be perfect should have my feature request made real:laugh:

Current Status:
-No ETA, however sources are updated and ready to be built again.
FAQ:
Why are there no OTA updates?:
Firstly, this is NOT an official build of PA, and secondly, I don't have a remote server. Builds are usually around ~200 MB, so it isn't that big of a download.
Can I restore my data/apps from Titanium Backup?:
If it is not a system or Google app, you should be fine. Do NOT attempt to restore ANY system or Google app.
Thank you for your wonderful and continuous support!
I will give it a shot. /sub

Saying 24a baseband may be confusing as that's the vs980 kitkat radio. And you don't say anything about building for the vs980.
Might want to change it to pure kitkat baseband

Oh right, silly me. Thanks!
Woah, new thread, this almost slipped by! But I must say, this is fantastic for the development of AOSPA. I've always had a crush on this ROM but never had the time to really try it out, stuck with CloudG3 especially having this LG G2...used to always be an AOKP guy and NEVER stock, but I am curious...Always had a crush on paranoid android!
If this is anything comparable to the "stock" based experiences now, I'm in! gonna take a NAND and try it out. I will report back.
(D800, just my luck! I'm also building Dorimanx' G2 kernel and may take a shot at porting it over to AOSP for this ROM.)

Haha, I've always been a fan of PA, but I was pretty saddened when they rolled back to JB sources, and then houstonn always builds with his special trees, so you can't flash Render/B14CKB1RD. Good luck building Dorimanx! Let me know what you think of the ROM and if you come across any errors
Can't wait to try it out! D801 user waiting!

It would be best if you did a full wipe as I am using different sources and it can cause conflicts. However, if you downloaded the last zip, wait until tomorrow as I will have a new zip up that has sensors fixed.

OmniROM for Nexus 10 (manta)
About OmniROM
See what OmniROM is all about: http://omnirom.org/about/
What do you need
To be able to install OmniROM you will need TWRP. Official TWRP causes some problems, so download
You will need a flashable GApps package (if you want Google services)
You need SuperSU if you want to have root access
See the Downloads part of this message for the needed packages
How to install
To install OmniROM please follow these instructions:
Do a factory reset / full wipe
Flash the OmniROM zip file, the BeansGapps ZIP file.
Reboot the tablet and enjoy OmniROM
Downloads for Omni 7.1
Below are the files you need for flashing OmniROM:
Download OmniROM http://dl.omnirom.org/manta/
Download TWRP https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=961840155545587690
Beans GApps https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=171927
SuperSU from Chainfire: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
There are some things that you need to know
before using Omni 7.1:
Official TWRP causes some problems with SELinux on a first flash with GApps. Please use the TWRP version provided in the download section above.
If you are on a HOMEBUILD version and want to go to a WEEKLY build, you will have to do a factory reset first.
You can flash GApps only ONCE. If you flash a new build, you do not need to flash GApps again. Just let the backup script do its work. If you do "dirty" flash GApps, you might get crashes. The only thing to do then is to fully wipe your data partition.
If you reflash GApps without doing a factory reset first, you will have problems
Enjoy OmniROM

Thanks. I installed this a couple days ago and it's running smoother than stock was. Less lag, and certain apps were bogging down and freezing on me after 5-10 minutes, no more (Flipboard for one). Which is curious, unless this has some performance improvements. Omni has always run smoother on my manta than any of the other custom roms.
Glad to see this topic
Installed the first versions you published in your 4.4 topic, going to upgrade to this new version
Great job and thanks for your hard work!

Flashed this on top of Lollipopalooza (dirty flash) and so far everything seems to work just fine. Feels a little bit snappier than before (which Antutu seemed to confirm).
I have uploaded a new version. This includes a renewed power menu and volume popup.
Nice rom. Extended power menu and transculent status + nav bar makes my wife happy )
Hmmm my last build has some audio problems (audio not playing). This weekend i will make another build that solves it.
I will flash anyway as I don't use audio on it

You should install a better battery monitor. I can recommend gsam and the gsam root companion app. Let the nexus charge fully and do a full power cycle. After that check gsam for more in depth info for what is causing your wakelocks.

Thanks Scanno, thats a quick turnaround to release a 5.1 ROM. Will test it later today.
FYI: Xposed isn't compatible yet with 5.1, which is kind of a shame if any user hasn't heard yet.

The difference between 5.0 and 5.1 is not that big so they could be merged rather quickly compared to the jump from 4.4 to 5.0.
Seems like my 5.1 build is working [emoji6]
Pa Gapps has a beta gapps version for 5.1
looks like banks gapps have also been updated to 5.1, from a nexus 6 base: http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=banks&device=gapps
will test asap
EDIT: all seems well, impressive battery life in deep sleep now, was not so good on 4.4 Omni, thanks again for the hard work m8
Really nice work, it's running smoothly and by far better than the old 4.4 rom. Only thing I'm missing at the moment is Xposed, but time will come

That one has never worked for me, I have always used the one down from it. the one you have checked..
Speeds, I didnt change a thing, I used default everything..........
Give me time and ill compile it with sabermod and hope for faster speeds..
I only built this because there wasnt one here and I was bored....
That APN issue has been around a long time. For some reason, the ipv4 APN needs to be edited. You have to remove the dash so it reads fast.tmobile.com. For me, the ipv4 APN is much faster than ipv6.

It's a 5.0.2 rom should be very stable
Are the gapps baked in? If not, anyone has a link to the latest gapps?
Link is posted below download for Gapps..
Gapps 5.0.X
If this rom is liked by alot, Then ill keep it upgraded. Otherwise I Wont.. I only built this rom because I wanted another rom to add to my MultiRom List that wasnt avail here,
And I was bored. This rom was kinda a pain to set up for building on our devices. Its nothing like CM. 90% of all files needing to be edited for us was in /vender/pac.
But now that all the leg work has been done, Its easy to build updates. But its not easy to change toolchains, Now that one has be baffled.. But im working on it.
I personally have always noticed a big differents with sabermod toolchain. But ill work on it again today maybe.
I will build a 5.1 version as well. Just for kicks.. I will post that one here with the 5.0.2 since 5.1 has modem/eaf issues..
Dont ask for features, I did not make this rom, I only ported it and built it. If you have bugs
Report them with logs. I will do my best to fix it.. But as I said, I only did this to add another rom to my MultiRom List. I have a total of 15 roms that I can boot at will.
Running great here so far! Thanks OP.
So far so good.
HOLY CRAPBALLS! IM SO EXCITED!!! Downloading now & will come back with updates.

Installing PA Gapps 5.1 micro now, but, out of curiosity, why 5.1x and not 5.0x?
EDIT: just tried flashing gapps 5.1 (from a complete system wipe) & got "incompatible android ROM detected". I tried 5.0.1 nano & it worked... dunno why. *OP clarified & we should be using 5.0.X
EDIT 2: So im playing with the ROM (completely clean install)& here's what i have so far:
1. for some reason, after the first wipe & install, it wasn't rooted. I'm assuming because it didn't come with Superuser. I installed Superuser (from the play store) & it still didn't work, so i wiped again & installed it again from TWRP. That worked.
2. DT2W fades in very slowly (in comparison to other ROMs). I thought it was a setting, so i looked in the animation controls, but came up dry.
3. DPI is defaulted at 560 (as usual), but i like mine at 570 (im used to it since my 4.4.2 ROM. Call me spoiled ), but there's no option to change to a custom default, besides editing the build.prop manually (which i did, with no problem).
4. I don't like the fact the UI reboots after changing DPI, because it soft reboots, which causes 5.0.X to lose the APNs. To fix this, you need to reboot fully.
5. Did a benchmark on this too:
Downloading and flashing. I didn't like the stock 5.1 but it's been so long since I've had pacrom I'll probably die of excitement
I really never thought anyone would really be that interested in this rom. As I said before, I only really built it, was to add it to my MultiRom collection..
But from the looks of it, People really dig this rom. I guess that means I should continue with updates..
But I really am surprised, I had no idea that people liked this rom that much.
I am currently working on a way to get my Sabermod Toolchain to work with it. (Its got me baffled).. Ill get it sooner or later..
Maybe ill port this over to my Tab also. I dont remember seeing anyone building a pacrom over there. But ill check first.
Well I guess you all get your wish, I will continue to build this rom..........
Now thats 4 projects I am working on. 2 over here and 2 over in my tablet area.

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][5.1.1][Linaro 4.9]Temasek's CM12.1

These are UNOFFICIAL builds of Temasek's CM12.1
These builds are based on CM-12.1 nightlies with features cherry-picked from many sources including AOSP, crDroid, OmniROM, SlimROM, LiquidSmooth, SpasilliumNexus, DirtyUnicorns, NamelessROM, AICP, Euphoria-OS, TeamBliss, PAC, etc. This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in.
Builds will strictly follow Temasek's upstream, I will not be making any changes.
If you can't handle some things possible being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.
Important:
1) Do NOT ask for builds. I'll build one every 2 days since the ROM is pretty stable and I don't think nigthlies would be so useful
2) Do NOT use this unofficial build and ask for support at the official threads.
3) Do NOT be rude.
4) Respect all users
5) If you see a NOOB question and you don't feel like replying, simply DON'T; just ignore that post. If you reply, good for you and be nice in your reply
Bugs:
- Same as CM 12.1 (Most likely none)
- GPS requires a signal lock from stock to function correctly or you can use fastboot and type
Code:
fastboot erase modemst1 & fastboot erase modemst2

Why quote the whole op? Did you think I wouldnt see your concerns?
The interest in this rom is that people were asking for it. This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in.

New build up, Changelog and Md5 included.
This sould be a better build than last. See OP for link.
I recommend a clean flash. And these gapps if you want a minimal gapps package. The ones in op are fine too.

With work and family things in the summer, I just can't commit as much time as I'd like to. This is where I'm hoping the community will come together and help each other.

If you educated yourself on md5, its just another step in ensuring that your ROM download isn't corrupt and matches the original file. Its really not necessary, just good practice.
And yeah same folder. TWRP should be able to use it when you install your ROM.

New build is uploading! Enjoy!
Too Good!
I'm using the 08/08 build. Yet to flash the latest(10/08). With 2 days of heavy usage I find this ROM so stable. I got 4.5 hours of SOT which includes 2 hrs of gaming. So many features for customization. Great work @RukusX7! Love this ROM!
I faced a small issue. Though I use Swiftkey keyboard, the AOSP keyboard Fc's often. I don't mind abt that. Just felt like reporting. May be it would have been squashed in the latest build.
Keep up the good work! :highfive:

Glad you're enjoying the ROM!
I also have the fc issue using the aosp keyboard. I'm not sure why it happens but its not the only ROM this happens to me on. I've also read about this issue across different devices. I haven't looked at a logcat or anything myself. Could be the gapps, not sure.
I'm not making any changes to the source, so this is an acceptable bug to me as you can always change the keyboard such as you have!

Thanks for ur reply! I use Delta Gapps which work fine on other ROMs. I didn't face this in any other ROMs in the recent days. However it might be a different case for every one of us. Never mind that small bug. Thanks again!

i know lol, i posted like 7 minutes after the op so i thought that he wasn't going to use any reserved post :c But already asked a mod to remove it
Also i don't know what aospb is, so that's why i'm asking, btw msg me on hangouts.
Cool... another new ROM to investigate. Thanks for offering this to the Moto G community!
Nice to see another AOSP based ROM on here. Might try this one out in a few days.
EDIT: Flashed just this now actually. Was going to test out another ROM but it didn't work. Will report back later today.
Thanks xeon for this rom! Been waiting for an AOSPB rom since Broken-os got taken down. Will definitely try it, and, once again thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but AOSPB is a base rom made by slim devs. It's very minimalistic
Hey xeon , its one of the awesome ROMS . thanks for the development bro. Its stable, no issues so far. I tried installing it in the morning here in India and the battery backup seemed to be good. The minor issue ( I'm sure could be fixed in next update) is when I turned on pattern lock from swipe and set my lockscreen info to be hidden in lockscreen notifications, it actually did nothing . every time I tried changing lockscreen method (either pattern or swipe or pin), it went on crashing. I'm not sure if its ROMs issue because I had layers theme installed in order to test layers compatibility . except this small isuue, everything is smooth. The Antutu benchmark even gave good results . Thanks for such work bro . cheers !! Let me uninstall layers theme and post few screenshots ...I'll do that soon..thanks again Xeon .
Here are some screenshots ..I have installed open gapps and moto gallery, camera.so all gapps you see are open gapps.

Moto gallery and camera is same flashable zip that we find in apps and themes section of our moto g . I'm not sure whether it saves into SD because I don't have SD card currently . I'll check and report though .
Use the SD card in Ext4 (portable storage) in Cyanpop want to know if this ROM also supports the ext4?

It was a different ROM I was trying. And it was the latest build.
nice rom, no bugs found running flawlesly, best aosp rom AOSP ROM till now and best rom for those who want pure android experience.
xposed and moto cam working.. Battery is also gud.
great rom
It's awesome, nice battery life, no unnecessary clutter and excellent performance. I was craving for a ROM like this one.
I rarely comment about ROMs, considering we have plenty of choices for our device, but this ROM really deserves two thumbs up! Minimal, no unnecessary bloat, just the right amount of additions (volume wake, dt2s!). I have yet to encounter anything annoying. To the devs: cheers!
How do I get my memory card is recognized as sdcard1? For the ROM Cyanpop it is recognized with sdcard1 and Cardinal is recognized only by a set of random numbers and this prevents applications function correctly on the memory card such as Sygic, Igo and Titanium Backup you can not save the backup on sdcard and all works perfectly in Cyanpop sdcard formatted in Ext4 primary partition. Sorry for the English because I am using translator
Sounds nice.... Would like to see something like a feature list even if the first reserved post was stolen.
