WIFI Calling not working TMO Edge latest Firmware - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

All the experts, I am having where when I click on Wifi calling, it says Enabling and just sits there and does nothing all greyed out
Even moved closer to my WIFI router to see if that fixes the problem but to no avail
I am on Galaxy s6 Edge, TMO, Latest Firmware, Unikernal Root, with .latest XPOSED
I can not seem to get WIFI Calling to work
Please advise what I need to do to fix this if possible .......short of clean re-install
Remember I am rooted so I can go in and make changes you tell me to do if that will fix it all
Thanks Everyone

Wifi calling will only work on a stock unmodified tmobile rom preferably stock firmware.

[Q] How to enable wifi tethering for stock UCUEMJB 4.3?

I have been searching around for answers to my question for a few hours and have come up with nothing.
I originally flashed an older rom onto my phone in order to unlock it, then it did the OTA update to 4.3, following which I used CF auto root to successfully root it. Now this is what I have:
AT&T Galaxy S3
Android version 4.3
Baseband version I747UCUEMJB
Build Number JSS15J.I747UCUEMJB
SE Android Status Enforcing SEPF_SMSUNG-SGH-I747_4.3_0024
When I try to enable wifi tethering, either natively or through Portable Wifi Hotspot or other apps then I get the message that "Mobile data is not available or invalid SIM", neither of which is true. I have been able to get FoxFi/PDANet to work for bluetooth tethering, but not WiFi which I need for some of the devices I have with me.
I have seen that perhaps there are some modem/bootloader files that can be flashed over, but those seem to be specific to the leaked version of 4.3 , and I dont know if they would work for the UCUEMJB.
Is there any way I can do a simple mod to enable the wifi teathering? Would prefer to avoid flashing another rom bc Im traveling through Latin America and access to decent internet is a big issue (hence the need to tether).
Thanks!

[Q] Help Needed

I have a N7100 I bought it outside if US, now I am in US and using T-mobile. I tried flashing the T889 Jedi Master 18 rom to my phone in order to get the wifi calling feature. However, now my Wifi is not working and my phone does not have service.
Please help
The problem with the phone is that you have flashed a rom that was not meant for your device and so therefore, due to problems with the modem being different, you are having all these connectivity issues. The way to fix this would be to go back to stock rom/roms specific to the N7100!

[Q] Sprint Galaxy S6 lost wifi radio after cfautoroot- noob

Hi- I'm an apologetic noob
Just got a sprint galaxy s6, activated it (all seemed to work), then rooted it with cfautoroot. Flashed via ODIN the CF-Auto-Root-zerofltetmo-zerofltetmo-smg920t.tar (which i guess is the t-mobile one).
Unfortunately, somehow wifi was lost-- it seems to turn on, but just keeps searching and never finds any networks (there are plenty near me). Phone and bluetooth seem to work fine.
I had read that there would likely be problems with deep sleep after root, so i thought the wifi might be part of it, and i tried to flash proactively G920PVPU1AOCF_G920PSPT1AOCF_G920PVPU1AOCF_HOME.tar.md5
that just lost me root access, but didn't restore wifi.
so i reflashed the CF-autoroot.
Now it says i have
android version 5.0.2
and baseband version g920pvpu1a0cf
hardware version g920p02
am rooted again
but wifi is still lost
It may be because of my efforts to 'restore' from TiBu (possibly because also of things like xposed framework which doesn't work with touchwiz)
anyway- can anyone help a clueless noob?
(sorry if in wrong section)
thanks
lost wifi after root
sorry- i meant lost wifi after root, not wifi radio

Safe route is to flash the stock tar through Odin. Then try to root again.
Sent from my SM-N910W8

thanks so much for the reply
didn't work unfortunately
i just re-flashed the only stock i see available (via sammobile) from here
xxx (the sammobile site- it won't let me post link) /firmwares/database/SM-G920P/
wasn't any wifi back even without root. rooting didn't change it.
is there another 'stock' somewhere?
Solution?.... hard factory reset
so
i finally essentially gave up and tried a hard factory reset which erased all data.
the good news is wi-fi reappeared. I will try to root again and hope it was just a glitch in the process.
wish me luck, thanks for the help, and I hope my experience helps someone else.

Official T-Mobile Nougat ROM on Verizon Galaxy S7

Right now you can flash official T-mobile nougat rom for Verizon galaxy s7 (G930V). It's seem everything work fine. Here's how to do that:
- Download official T-mobile nougat rom from updato.com (search for T-mobile nougat rom by enter "G930T" in search field - sorry I cannot post link because of XDA's policies)
- Flash rom to galaxy s7 G930V with odin (like any other 6.0 roms)
Done! Now we have final Nougat on Verizon Galaxy S7 G930V
I've been seeing threads on this and the G930U firmware working as well. Has anyone else tried the tmobile rom this way? No root?
You can flash any rom to any snapdragon S7 as long as you match the correct model. ie don't flash Edge firmware on a regular S7.
Does LTE and VoLTE still work after flashing the tmo rom?

I'm actually pretty excited about doing it this way... Are there any downfalls to flashing the T-Mobile ROM? LTE still working data working no dropped calls? Considering flashing over to this when I get off of work anyway just to try it out would like to know if anyone can confirm everything will still work
Don't we have to flash the verizon csc
If you flash the TMOBILE rom your phone will not work with Verizon and you most likely will not be able to flash back to Verizon until there is a Verizon nougat factory image. With the S7 you cannot flash back to an older bootloader and I would think the TMOBILE nougat rom has a newer bootloader.

I flashed t-mobile rom on my S7 G930V and seemed everything works fine. But I'm not in US to try some Verizon features. I then flashed back to G930U rom on my S7.

I was reading the s7 edge forum. They have a 5th file called boot recovery image file tar. Do we not need that one also. Just asking before I flash this
I think it might be helpful if I address a few things. After using this image for about a day, I decided to go back to the U firmware
- Cellular does not work (duh). Renders the "phone" aspect useless.
- The T-Mobile logo is sickening
- Reverting back to stock is very simple. Just flash the V or U firmware and you're good to go. Same process as flashing the T firmware.

Agreed. I flashed this last night, and I must say the official nougat really looks and feels a lot smoother and prettier than the beta. LOL but I agree to a certain point about the mobile cellular network not working only mine was working, I just had terrible cell signal... And only connected to 3G. No LTE. Also wasn't showing my network, network name was 12345678 lol moral of the story I reverted back lol.
On a side note yes you can flash back to the Verizon firmware. I flash back to the API3 and then back to the nougat beta from there. Smart switched everything back and it's like I never left. Lol

Now that I think about it I didn't flash the CSC file because I read somewhere that it would not work with a Verizon (MNVO) sim

Not using verizon, i live in Mexico and using movistar i really love this nougat update and hope the U nougat be ready to stsrt roll out and no bloatware at all! xD
I wonder when/if the official update comes out, will it work with Gear VR? I understand the "betas" do not work with the Samsung Gear VR under Nougat. Just curious.

Did you have Wifi Calling after installing new firmware? I got a S7 (SM-G390V) on verizon and switched carriers to tmobile, however i can't send/receive images in text. "wifi calling" has been disabled by evil verizon (doesn't appear)..... i want to flash the firmware to enable it to "hopefully" solve my issue. Just wondering if that will appear afterwards....

ugh...ok. i thought that putting tmobile rom on verizon s7 would display/enable that feature (apps/setting/advanced calling)....need to find another solution for mms images
If i was one of you on the flat screen version i would flash the CSC file and the boot recovery image file from the S7 Edge setup and follow directions there. What can it hurt? If it doesn't work you just oden back to whatever you want. You cant use it as it is anyways as you have no real Verizon data with out those files. It's soo much better than the beta! Only thing i haven't got is WiFi calling and visual voice mail.

Flash T-Mobile ROM to ATT S6 Edge + (Wifi Calling not working with ATT ROM)

Okay, so long story short, I have a SM-G928A I brought over from ATT to Tmobile. Before, I was running the 6.0 ATT Rom, and WIFI Calling would not enable, although I BELIEVE it was working. (I could see the symbol in the call status screen when I made a call.) You also need Wifi calling to use advanced messaging features. Yesterday I flashed the newest 7.0 ATT Rom to the phone, everything works fine, however Wifi calling still can't be enabled.
I read a couple places that even if I put the TMobile ROM on it, WIFI Calling still won't work. I need some advice. I really want this to work, however the phone is working fine besides that.
Right now I am on G928AUCU4EQC6.
I also read something about flashing a PIT file with the TMOBILE rom, but it was not clear at all, very confusing. I need some advice on what to do next.
Forgot also want to remain on Nougat.
How did you manage to flash ATT rom on it? i've been trying and keep getting "Secure check fail pit" Im on tmobile rom with Nougat 7.0

So, how was the flashing process because people told me that flashing the s6 series was not a good idea since it was not universal like the s7 series. Also, did volte work because that's what I mainly need to enable on my s6 edge which I'm taking from atnt to tmobile
