What t0ltexx means ? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently bought an used n7105 and CPU-Z shows t0lteXX as model. What is that XX stand for ? I ask this because i want to try out some custom roms and i don't want to end up with a brick.
I know how to root the device, how to install a custom recovery / rom, but i don't know what XX mean. Is it a region code, a carrier code, a hardware code ? Will any t0lte rom work on it ?

you can use t0lte roms with no worries

Chinese firmwares B116 to B120, have a bricking problems. International versions work fine.
Dont know if your B103 rom is region modified. But latest international firmware and best stable one is B125. You can get download link from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566453
There are custom roms and beta KK. But better to first get a hang of B125.

No, since it doesn't have any band block. My fear is to install (for example) B125 and end up with my phone bricked or in chinese. I saw they have available the firmeware in their website, so if something goes wrong i can roll it back to factory software? or there's any possibility of end up with a bricked phone?
i'm thinking on upgrade it to B125 and after that, install HYD52ROM V7
PS: my knowledge about this is not to good yet, that's why I'm so insecure about it
By the way the common bands used by the phones and modems here are HSPA/UMTS 850/2100Mhz Edge/GPRS/GSM 850/900/1800/1900Mhz

International firmware versions are safe. No worries.
To install custom roms you would have to read up on installing custom recoveries and so on.
But anyway go for B125 for now. Its easy and safe :good: We might see an official Kitkat update soon. :good:
CN118 to start with....
Got this amazing phone from Claro CR, so far I have installed CN118 Chinese version and TWRP recovery.
I had flash LightningKat and HYD52ROM for testing, both real nice and stable, currently running LightningKat KK version and waiting for stable version of CM11 to try on.
This is an amazing piece of device, in order to avoid bricks, just read read and read before try.

When are the custom rom comming??

Can anyone please tell me when are they custom rom being made available for my h&c desire 820. Does a custom rom for lollipop on h&c desire 820 exist already? i can't wait to get my hands on the lollipop update for my phone..... and i have rooted my phone so i need the custom rom, when is it coming???
I think that this model of HTC is not popular because there is no custom roms.
However, if I had time I would have done something because I can.
Last appeared one custom rom (Kitkat 4.4.4).
Is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/des...15-07-07-rom-tomals-discovery-v1-0-0-t3151623

Does this rom work for the dual sim version also
i want to try but not risk my phone from being bricked
Are there any tutorials on how to port miui v6 or v7 to this device?
Doesnt work on the dual sim variant. The rom installs fine ,all functionality available . but the sim goes undetected

Really Confused with e986

I've read all the forum but if I am not wrong, there is nothing about this phone (e986) to pass LG security and to install a custom recovery (twrp is preferable) that really work and so there is no custom ROM which one runs stabile on that phone. I saw there are some other variants and all of them have different ways to install recovery or have different ROMs. If a ROM support one variant, then it does not support other variants.
I really appreciate if someone has a guide to install recovery (especially twrp), to pass LG security and link to a custom ROM that enough stabil to daily usage (like CM or LineageOS).
Note: I am on rooted stock Android 4.42
Everything you've read for E980, E988 etc. is actually about same phone. E980 = E981 = E985 = E986 = E988 = E989 - all same hardware, but different modem firmware due to regional differences with supported network frequencies, and some models are with 32GB storage, some with 16GB.
F240 devices are different, but not too different.

Help Installing Custom Rom Onto SM-G9650 (International)

I need someone to help me to install a custom rom on my S9 (International Version).
I have been trying to install the G9600ZHU2ARE6 Rom but i have never gotten past trying to install it on TWRP.
My BL is on V4 but this is a international version so i don't believe it needs to be a certain BL as long as it is installed with TWRP
Again if someone could layout very clear details on how to do this i would be so greatful!
,Thanks
