Does anybody nows if the variant SM-N7502 will receive the update? I saw only for SM-N7505....

Well, because you didn't received Kitkat and because I think this model got a different processor you won't get the update.

Note 7 N930W8 bricked and cant find stock firmware

Hey, I tried doing the sprint root for the Qualcomm note 7 and bricked it for some reason when I was flashing the sprint rom. Odin failed on xbl.elf and the phone said something about aboot and rev check fail. I thought I could just flash back to stock, but for some reason, it wouldn't flash even though it was the correct model and carrier. also on the box, the SW-VER is a little different than the firmware I downloaded. the model on the box is N930W8VLU1APGC and the firmware model is N930W8VLU1APH1. not sure if this would make a difference but it might.
If anyone knows how to save my precious explosive note 7 it would be greatly appreciated .

I think you need a firmware begin by N930W8VLU2. Sw ver error means you can't downgrade. So you need the exact firmware that was in your Note 7 before trying to root

Ok great I will search around for that version of firmware and try and flash in a bit. Do you know of somewhere where I can get that firmware?

Thanks man worked like a charm. But I could not find the bell version of the firmware so I flashed rogers. do you know of somewhere where I can get it? there is one site that has it but it costs 6.99 to buy a 7-day membership for downloads that don't take 3 days lol.

Flash a non-updated Note 7 to Note FE software

Hey everyone,
I haven't seen this answered anywhere just yet. I have a Sprint Note 7 (green battery) that has never been updated or crippled. Can I flash the Note FE firmware to it, reactivate it on Sprint and be completely safe from it being crippled?

Note FE is exynos... You can't install the FE N935S firmware on the Note 7 N930S. The only way it's by custom rom. For snapdragon US, you can't install twrp cause the bootloader is locked. So you can't install any custom rom...
