Hi,
How can I use my Htc M8 EYE as remote control for sunny receiver and TV. When I try install peel remote control it says "your device isn't compatible with this version " but why my device is one of last models? And htc sense tv changed to peel smart remote app.
How can I fix this problem?
M8 eye doesn't have an ir blaster
Are you sure? How can I check that?
Google it dude. It's in almost every review online !
Got this within 3 minutes of looking around !

Does anyone know how to get the Samsung TV Remote Application working on the the One X?
It was beautiful and easy to use on the other phones. I'm guessing it doesn't like Android 4?
I flashed the new ARHD 30 Rom to my Device and I cant find Miracast or Wireless Display Setting. It's sad because Miracast is one of the top features of 4.2 Android. The Tegra 3 should supports it very well.
Are there chances to get Miracast with a more custom ROM?
I think it's on Settings - Media Output, but it would be great if someone could test Miracast.
I've tested it on my LG tv with media out, but phone doesn't find the tv nor tv find the phone. Every time I search for the tv only the HTC media link video appears after a while.

cant find any miracast only Htc media link... ?
I'm running 4.3 on my ATT HTC One. I have the PTV3000. I got it to work on my laptop and Kindle Fire HDX after dumbing down the firmware to 2.4.1.19. I still can't get it to work on my phone. I can get to connect for 5 seconds and then it drops.
Anyone ever get Miracast to work with HTC One X?
If I choose "Media Output" it never finds a source and always goes tot he media link video.. I should note that I want to send to a WDTV Live SMP, which has recently updated the firmware to allow Miracast.

I'm gonna echo this. I got a PTV3000 for my Surface, was hoping my HTC One X could take advantage of it too.
Hey all,
I've been using CM for a while, but I always have a lingering regret of going back to stock for the sole purpose of having the TV app. The greatest thing about it was it had a simple TV favourite interface with remote controls and access to other media systems.
Has anyone discovered any apps similar to this? Meaning to take advantage of the IR blaster for the one and have a nice interface with cable TV.

I use the Highly Customizable remote (IR Blaster) called "smart remote" I'ts a little pricey but I believe its well worth it, you can set up anything and everything with it. I have my Denon receiver, BlueRay, Directv, Panasonic Viera TV, and my HD streaming box all connected to the app and if you set it up right you can usually turn all devices on with click of one button, including switching inputs on TV &/or receiver at the same time..here it is on the play market...https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy~~~~~it's made for the HTC One, Hope this helps you!!!

I am using Smart Remote. Also a little pricey but it controls everything I own and even things like HVAC units. Nice interface and easy to set up.

I was wondering if their are any good Remote Apps for the IR blaster with its own TV guide. I tried the Smart TV but it doesnt seem very user friendly. At least not compaired to my last Phone HTC M8 the stock remote app for that was awesome. Is their anyway i could just find the APK for the HTC remote or would that even work. Thanks for anyone who responds. I appreciate your time.

I use this remote app but I don't think it has a TV Guide.

I use smart remote, it has WAY more features than I even need (you can even create macro commands, chaining them together to one button push. No TV guide though. I looked and couldn't find HTC actual apk for their remote software. It might require root to install it even if you had it, but I don't think so.

I use Smart Remote as well. I do have TV Guide. Works Excellent.
There are several apps that have smart remote in the name, Which one are you using?
The 6.99 one has the best reviews.
I use anymote I think it is the best out there however it is quite pricey for the premium version but I definitely think it was worth it. The ability to customize your own remote to have the volume go up and down on your stereo system, channel buttons for your cable box, power for your TV, turn on your ac all on one easy to use remote is great.
PS don't work for the company I just hated watch on.

I also use seriesguide as my TV guide. It is more keeping track of the shows you want to watch over whatever is on TV.

The HTC Sense TV APK, brought to you by me...because HTC decided to end service and replaced it with a crappy TV app on the M9 ?.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/l3yco5mdmycgv1l/TV_2.7.859666_250081532.apk?dl=0
APK taken from my M7 and uploaded to my Dropbox ?.
EDIT: The overall usefulness of the Sense TV app is way higher than the replacement TV app HTC recommends.
EDIT2: And since HTC ended service for it (well almost. Service ends on the 30th), there will be no TV recommendations, but you can still control your TV via the IR blaster!
