I broke my LG G3 recently. I locked some photos which are saved in my sd card. Now i try to view those locked photos on my laptop and i cant open them. any way to unlock them? I tried using my friend's G3 but still does not work.

Hi, im having a problem writing things to the sd card. I CAN drag files onto it from the computer but i can download anything from the phone itself or view pictures in the gallery for example. I've tried flashing stock and locking / unlocking the bootloader but the device inst recognized! Any ideas anyone?
I have recently installed Xperia Ultimate HD 3.0.2 with Rush kernal V10 and everything was working fine, taking pictures, playing music etc. I have also deleted some software using Titainum to remove the dead weight. And recently i took some pictures but it says cannot save and i cant view thenm in the quick view on the camera software, but it does save them when i looking the gallery. If i try to video something is says 2 mins. at the bottom that suggests it cant recognise the SD card even though it is inserted and is trying to save on the internal memory. Also when i screen catpure is takes it and then says it cant be saved but again when i look in the folder in my gallery it is there. So these apps obviously cant recognise the sd card to save to it, for some reason. the Walkman app when i open it just says no music in the library...suggesting no SD card again! I can browse the SD card in File Manager, so the phone knows the SD card is there, just some of the apps dont realsie it is there, the apps on the sd card are all working fine. im not sure if i am missing someting or maybe i accidently delted somethiing important.

Tried to reinstall the SD-card? One time I had a bad contact and the SD-card is not read.

I have a rather weird issue. I had a bootlooping h815, which was replaced by a new h815 running marshmallow (v20d). I inserted my sd card and instructed the camera app to save on (external) sd card. However, the gallery app by lg shows only the photos I took with the new phone. It totally ignores the other 400 photos under DCIM/Camera which are in exactly the same directory as the new photos.
Do you have any hint how I can view my old photos with the gallery app?

I have locked media in my SD card. Then my G4 got the bootloop error.
Had my phone fixed and when I re-inserted my SD card to my G4 the locked files cannot be read anymore.
When i try to search the .dm files using the file manager, i can only see the new ones and not the previous ones before the repair.
Is there a workaround so that I can retrieve the old locked files?
The title pretty much tells the story. I let my Z2 attempt to move photos/videos to the sd card and I think it froze, because the notification couldnt be selected. At that time I checked and my photos were gone from both internal storage and sd card. Yes I'm dumb and wasnt backing up photos to google. My thinking was I take a lot of stupid pics and I delete 80% of them and didnt want to have to clear them out of google photos also. Going forward I'll definitely back up my photos.
So I installed the app DiskDigger but it cant do a full scan without root access.
Is it possible to root without wiping the internal storage so I can do a full scan?
Usb or PC card reader and recovery software cant remember the name of the one I used, have you not got them backed up to Google photos.
