I have T700 wi fi only tablet w/stock LP 5.0.2 and SkyHigh kernel v2.0..
My trouble is the tab disconnects wi fi connection very often and can not resume easly and quicly even when I am on net and surfing. I mean while not in sleep mode..
I have default kernel settings and I do not think having changed any power saving settings and wi fi advance setting of wifi is marked 'always' at "keep wifi on during sleep"
I wonder if it is due to skyhigh kernel or standard behaviour of the tablet?
Any one having the same trouble?
Any suggestion?
Ths in advance..

In the synapse app, go to "network" and set the wifi power mode to off on each as shown in my screenshot. Then hit apply. Hopefully this should help

Menu->System Settings. Wifi should be the top option. Give it a touch, select your desired network, and it should be similar to the pop up from there
I walk on toilet paper cuz I'm the s###!

Just recently got my SGS3 and began de-bloating the stock TW ROM.
I was going to be a complete n00b and make a new post asking which APK was the Sprint Connections Optimizer so I could yank it out when I remembered the golden rule and did a search! Thanks for the info! :good:
I have my T-mobile Note 3 always makes calls through wifi, even when the wifi calling is disabled, I noticed that today when I had a call and when I stepped out of the wifi range, the call was dropped. also I noticed that the HD Voice only works with wifi calls. is that Normal? Does someone encounter or noticed that?
Very normal. Your locked into Wi-Fi it does not switch off to 4g while ur on call.
TWEAKED 2.0 NOTE 3
Thanks for the reply, I know what you mean, but what I mean is. My wifi calling is disabled, how come the phone use wifi to make a call? what the purpose of using Enable/Disable wifi calling, since the phone use wifi calling no matter what you set it for?

TWEAKED 2.0 NOTE 3
I think I may have to give them a call. I did the factory reset already. Thanks
I'm with T-Mobile and my mobile data is unlimited and faster then my home internet so I prefer not to use my home internet. But after a short period of standby it will automatically kick on. I have checked my settings and everything to my knowledge is set up properly. All stock no root.

Disable the wifi manager
To solve your problem just go to the T-Mobile My Account App and in press de menu --> options then go to the Connection Assistant area and select Open Wi-Fi Manager once in there disable the Manage Wi-Fi connections option.
Hope this helps. It did it for me.

I can't find the connection assist area. Where is it in options?
Maybe its Google now or location services who turns on your Wi-Fi.

Hi, you should see it right under the notifications section in the T-Mobile My Account options.
If you have trouble finding it let me know and I'll try to prepare a step by step when I get back home.
Please if anyone could help this is killing me and I am not sure what is causing this.... Seems to be directly related to the ROM
I am running the Stock Rooted True Security option for the Developer Edition
See the pictures below. It's always the same ones

Same problem with me on note 3, there is this solution that helped some people but not me hope it works for you Firstly, turn on yr wifi. Let it connect to yr SSID or wifi network. Long press over it. U can find it in yr wifi settings. After long pressing over the name of wifi or also known as SSID;
Go to: modify network config.
Click on: show advanced options.
Scroll down n change IP settings field from DHCP to STATIC.
Scroll down n go to DNS 1 n DNS 2 fields only.
Change it.
DNS1: 8.8.8.8
DNS2: 4.4.4.4
save it.
Note: Do not change any other fields.
If it didn't work, don't change DNS1 and change DNS2 to 8.8.8.8
and save it.
Additionally, u can change it directly from your router' s DHCP settings.
I hope it will definitely fix yr problem. Enjoy.
Fix for Play Store icons not loading
Go into your router settings and disable ipV6. That worked for me. This also sped up icon loading on the google play Newsstand app. I didn't need to do this once I upgraded my modem and router. Hope that helps.
