hi
i flashed that custom lollipop rom and then i restored to the stock rom and i found out that the wifi wasn't working so i tried to apply this method on multiple pc's but it didn't work on any one of those cmd always tells me that my devices isn't detected or when it is detected it tells me that i can't flash persist.img .....
i'm just wondering if there's a solution for this problem or if there's another way to flash persist.img other than adb and fastboot method

Hey guiz,
I flashed a unported rom which updated my firmware of touch screen controller which resulted in reverse calibration of touch screen. So plz help me to update my original firmware to touch screen controller. Do we have any custom rom that updates firmware to touch screen...? I've found a site which describes my problem perfectly. Here's the link... http://www.modaco.com/topic/355021-...t-vega-viewsonic-10s-point-of-view-mobii-ect/
They have also given the solution but i haven't those files mentioned for my canvas 4. So if you have found those files then plz give me those files and if you could explain the method to flash them plz do it for me... Thanks..http://www.modaco.com/topic/355021-most-touchscreen-issue%E2%80%99s-explained-and-the-reason-some-touchscreens-are-dying-on-p10an01%E2%80%99s-advent-vega-viewsonic-10s-point-of-view-mobii-ect/

I tried but ROM flashing is done on Nand partition and touchscreen firmware is stored on its controller which is on touchscreen itself. The only way to flash firmware is after flashing a ROM while first boot there is mass calibration which flashed firmwares to whole phone that's why first boot takes a few minutes extra and I haven't found yet any ROM that contains an update for touchscreen controllers firmware. You have ported some good ROM so will you add that feature In any of your ROM if possible ....?
Use FLASHIFY to flash stock recovery.img?
I´ve tried during weeks different methods and with differenet cables and computers and is impossible that any PC recognize my LGG3 D855.
I want to send it to LG Technical Assistance (maybe micro USB connection is broken) but i need to put a stock rom to use my warranty. Now i use Cloudy 2.5 rom, and is impossible to flash a TOT or KDZ using Flashtools because is not recognized and can´t go into download mode so...would this work?:
1.- flash a kitkat stock rom from TWRP
2.- then using flashify, flash a stock recovery.img file. (i´ve tried to restore it throuhg AREC with a backup that sent me a friend of mine, but didn´t worked)
3.- finally, unroot with SuperSU
Will this work? Is it possible to go back to stock recovery using flashify and an original recovery.img file?
I´ve been with this more than a month and i´m really desperate...i need to find a solution
Thank you in advance!!!!
Even after installing the latest Windows driverset from LG, your PC still doesn't recognize your phone?

And what happens when you try to enter Download mode?
thank you for sharing master
Hello,
While trying to root my J200GU I accidently wiped the OS. Now I am left with the TWRP recovery mode and access to Download mode.
I have been trying to flash a stock firmware to my phone using different methods without success:
1- Used Odin tool but it fails when it begins to write the rom
2- ADB sideload - Gives me an error saying the rom is missing the META INF
3- TWRP Install - I tried different zipped roms and all of them give me error saying cannot detect MD5, although the file is there inside.
I am very confused I dont know what is wrong. I am not sure if the roms I use are good but since I already tried multiples I might be doing somethin else wrong.
Can anyone help me out. Does anyone has a stock rom that actually works? or a method?
Thanks.
V.

Hi, I am facing a similar problem, installed a couple of treble pie roms, all of them had issues last installed one had wifi not working, so I flashed stock from a twrp backup that I had created earlier but wifi kept on not working for some reason .... I tried flashing the original boot.img from my backup as the previous post had suggested but same issue persists .... any ideas how to fix it please??
