A significant improvement in every aspect over Pistons. Not even the same category.
Thanks! Piston reviews are almost all quick to point out how comparable they are to iems in this price range and they seem so similar on paper.

Nothing I reviewed comes close in sound quality to IM03 Those are my favorite IEMs!!! Though $360, they beat hands down $400 UE900s and $500 W40. Audio Technica is going to be releasing CKR9 and CKR10 soon in US, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed to get a review sample. Those has been released in Japan awhile ago, and people compare those dual dynamic IEMs to IM03 (triple BA driver) in sound quality. Will be a good review and a comparison, plus they are cheaper than IM03, and dynamic drivers usually produce a much better bass

Looks really nice. I feel that people are going to mistake them for Beats because of the "tape" wire and the red but looks like a solid buy for ~$40.
The YouTube video is kind of a pointless ad. Doesn't even make any sense, just a mini video of punching.
But will they ever be available?
The video is really pointless IMO but I like the earphones, keeping aside the Red that reminds me of Beats. JBL quality beats Monster's (pun intended) any day of the week and at 40 USD it's a pretty solid buy.
Only thing is, I use stereo Bluetooth earphones
The brand seems to get good reviews of their sound and the design is sexy. I wish they'd come in more colours, but, the oneplus-red is quite nice too.
Trying to get a hold of the phone first, then would love a pair off these!

I love Sennheiser, I have a pair of momentum and love them although I use my Sony MDR-1RMC for traveling on long flights. I find the Sony to be much more comfortable, I have biggish ears. My wife on the other hand had no problems with them even over long periods like on the flight to Texas from London for the F1
Why others don't have the adjustable jack angle I don't know, although I wish they didn't have the push and twist connection on the headphone side.

Just got my e1+ today. They're actually not bad. Just needs some eq, see photo. This setting should be close to a flat response curve (to my ears at least). Each person's ears will vary.
My headphone arsenal: triple fi 10, grado sr80i, Sennheiser 560.
I think they're really great for $40, but I think they're worth $30. The plastic does feel a little cheap but then again, these aren't high end headphones. They do look durable, im planning on using these for running. The silicone tips are good but I changed them to comply tips.
The e1+ is focused more towards the mid and higher bass region. So it may sound dull. The higher treble frequencies are lacking. Good for songs with already high treble and bass heavy (eg techno, dubstep etc.) I listen to a lot if jazz and blues hence why my eq is setup this way.
If anyone is looking to getting this headphone, I say unless you can get a discount, look elsewhere.

They don't. The only reason why these are getting attention is because of the OnePlus name (which screams value) and the name brand that is JBL. They're nothing special.

Thanks for your feedback, I guess I will stick to pistons, I can buy 3 of those for the price of one. I prefer listening to real dedicated stereo system for music and only use earphones when I'm traveling.

But in eBay India there is a listing for Piston 3(₹1650) and Piston 3 youth(₹1050) I'm a bit broke right now but I do like the costlier one... But if both sounds same there is no use in buying the costlier one... Can you guys help me with which is better? Also would be great to have some coupon codes!

Well if you haven't already bought them, I've read that the two use the same driver meaning they would sound the same. The youth is the better option if you want to save money.

I have been searching for a nice pair of earbuds for my nexus 5 and I stumbled upon the Xiaomi Pistons 3.
I really like the design and people write positive reviews about the earbuds.
After some searching I came by a website named Geekbuying, they sell them for a ridiculous low price.
That is why I doubt if these are the real deal. Does anybody have any experience with Geekbuying? Or even with experience buying the Pistons 3 there?

I'm looking for something similar but it's like searching for a needle in a haystack. Most of the earphones don't have noise cancellation is this important and I like the bass of the original ones. I ordered one waiting them in a week.
They are amazing earphones the problem is that its full with Fake and the real and the fake are often sell for the same price.
I bought one original and read a tons of information how to spot a fake and to be 100% sure they are the real one.
The problems is and this is why some people say well they sound good but its not something WOW is because many many people bought the fake one and they even didnt know that.
Also the funny thing is like you are playing in a casino game sometimies ONE seller sell both and someone can recive Authentic some other FAKE they do look same and if you don`t know what to look for for sure you cant realize your are just a copy of the original.
So in a week when i recive mine will write an review.
For sure the Original SOUND like an Expensive Hitech Earbuds beyond the price they sell for.
Even i know the seller i buy from sell about 200 of this Original Earphones i told him! what im looking exactly and if i recive a FAKE one imideately will open refund disput. you have to be very careful and to know how to spot them test them do they are the real Hybrid Pro HD so untill they arrive i can`t be 100% Sure that they are real.

I guess is not the seller faut however i dont like to wait so much time for shipping thats i dont like the shopping from Ali however:
I bought the Earbuds for 27 totall including shipping.
The Earbuds are amazing they are no doubt authentic one, comes with extra tips well packet and most important QR code that redirect you stright to the MI website with item unique ID that your pair of earbuds is legit and for warranty purpose.
The Sound of the Hybrids Pro HD is amazing they perform very very well im using my HTC 10 with Sauron MK II and im not even able to use the maxx volume.
The sound is very detailed and rich on the same time well defined and bass as well i didnt expect so good bass at all.
I have Original Beats Solo 2 and another wireless AptX Headphones.
Compared to the Hybrids they sound like a big crap now after reciving them today and have almost 4 hrs of listening im going to sell my Beats because i dont need them anymore. In fact everyone know that its very paintfull to listen lets say for more than 30 40 min with The Solos because you gona recive so much pain in the ears this mean they are not comfortable for the price of 180 British Paunds and Sounds like Crap compared to Earbuds that cost me 27 USD.
Also after 4 hrs of listening with the hybrids i dont feel pain or any kind of disconfort NO actually they are very confortable as well and not heavy on the ears.
With another worth go buy Hybrid Pro HD of course original ones much more better than the Stocks the Beats and who know what more they worth every penny for the performance they have.

What about the bass quality? Is it similar to the HTC in ears? I bought the KZ ATE they were impressive the bass is not like the HTC ones but my cat crushed the cable so I have to buy new ones
