Unable to convert to F2FS - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I just updated my toro to CM 12.1. Everything went smoothly, but when I reboot into recovery (TWRP 2.8.7.0) and go to format either data or cache there's no option for f2fs. There's just a blank spot where that button should be and it gives me all the other file systems I can convert into (ext3, ext4, etc). Any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it? Thanks.

No you did not. You have to flash the TWRP recovery (v2.7.0.0) linked to in that post. The TWRP version in your screenshots is v2.8.7.0. You HAVE TO flash that specific recovery to switch to F2FS

[Q] Boot Loop after flashing

Can anyone assist me since trying to flash crawrj rom my phone is stuck in a bootloop.( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2241930 )It was stock deodexded. I used TWRP to do so.While doing so I was getting e:error, unable to mount /preload etc.I have a screenshot below.Since then I tried flashing multiple roms.I used billard412 stock no data options.I used MC2,MA7,LJC.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086769
Also tried using rwilco412 one click method
SPH-L900_MC2_1090526_Rooted_Nodata.exe
SPH-L900_MA7_Rooted_Nodata.exe
Even after using these roms phone is still stuck on bootloop I think its a twrp issue or corruption issue with data files after researching. Can anyone assist me,Last option would be a full stock restore I was trying to keep my internal data storage(Pics, apps, etc)

first boot into bootloader
then open up fastboot on your PC and type:
fastboot flash recovery (name of the recovery file).img
if you dont know how to do that you need to do some more research before you go flashing roms.

You REALLY need to read...
If you did the above procedure you no longer HAVE original TWRP on your phone...
You replaced it with a new recovery that should flash the OTA...
Personally I use the stock recovery as that generally works as long as the system partition hasn't been altered with busybox/root/xposed framework...

TWRP stuck while installing ROM zip.

i try to flash a custom rom via TWRP but it stucks always on the same step. (see screenshot)
Longest time i waited was 1 hour but it was still on the same status.
I tried different TWRP versions and different custom roms but it always stops.
For me it is no more possible to flash roms via TWRP.

yes, and tried older version, too
Yeah this totally sucks. Happened to me a bunch of times, I don't know what the cause is.
But you can fix it by flashing the latest MIUI official firmware using the MiFlash tool, making sure to wipe everything on internal storage (flashall + clean on MiFlash). Then reinstall TWRP, flash your ROM & Gapps... In other words, start completely fresh.
Maybe there's a way to fix it without wiping internal storage, but I haven't found it.

How to install LineageOS's own Custom Recovery?

I've just flashed my phone according to the Official Install Guide however I'd like to get LineageOS's own Custom Recovery to replace TWRP.

I don't think lineages has a own recovery. Most probably someone has forked the open sources of twrp and put a LOS design on it. I don't see a benefit in that. If u use the built in updater you will not see much of the recovery.
And you know how to change it?

My text from 2018 was complete bull****. LineageOS has a own recovery. It's necessary for a/b devices, but gets built for each device. You can ask your device maintainer for the file and flash it with twrp or fastboot/odin/heimdall

Development blackshark 4 pro twrp zip

open the zip

click on boot and volume up and power to enter to twrp touch working
Do I have to have the bootloader unlocked to do this?

You need to hard reset your phone in twrp to get full partition space in twrp recovery.
