Does this mean no one has successfully used Android Pay? I have added a card by disabling root in SU, but have not made a purchase. If anyone has made a purchase, did you have disable root to do so?
Thought it was only Samsung Pay that didnt work with root. Havent rooted or used any pay feature yet.

There is none yet, the bootloader is still locked. There is a tethered recovery, but its not much use for anything other than modifying or flashing mods, if you load a custom kernel the phone will only boot if the phone is connected to the recovery via USB.
Ok so once I saw my verizon note 4 sm-n910v got an update to Lollipop 5.01 I started to search for the tools. Now yesterday morning my phone did do an update by itself. Now when I try to run Odin it fails every time. Can I get some help it with this to fix this.

Are you sure? I got an update on my phone saying to upgrade to it?
I will wait for confirmation from the site for a root then & make sure no more upgrade/updates are made then

There is no root for the Note 4
Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
You need to do more research. Root and updates are not the same thing. There is no root method available at this time.
Ok Im a patient person I'll can wait.
It day there is a root but not sure if it works. It also says something bout no recovery as of yet

That root method is for the "Developer Edition" only. It will not work on the retail version.

There's nothing in that article that mentions the Developer Edition. That's pretty misleading.
Recently purchased this little gem....only to be horrified about finding no info on root capabilities and/or unlockable bootloader..... my phone came with 5.0.1 but i upgraded to 6.0 thinking all would be well...
First off, is there a way to root this device??
Can the bootloader be unlocked like the other G4...or is it already unlocked?
Can I downgrade should the need arise? as in back to 5.0.1
i'm actually really stuck now and I kinda feel like I wasted my £££'s.... I already owned a G4 but this was all I could get my hands on.
Any help would be greatly received.
I had a stylo and i think i used kingo then got su installed im pretty sure there is a guide but not here in g4 section.
Hmmm ive been looking all weekend, I just cant find anything at all

People are claiming root with kingo
Just got the phone. Like above says, lost my imei and any signal/won't connect to WiFi somehow. The only thing I did different was mount the system in twrp since I didn't have full r/w access.
I'm not new to flashing, but definitely new to Motorola.
I did the oreoflashall.bat and it fixed the boot loop but not the signal issues.
Anyone know how to fix this?
same here did the oreoflashall and no wifi or sim
