Im looking for earbuds only

does Sony SBH80 earbuds work with SWR-50 ?

Thanks

I bought the cheapest ones I could find on amazon, and the only limitation I have is that I have to switch my watch to my right hand otherwise the audio skips.
Google Music + Ghost Racer + paper towel folded between my wrist and the watch... I'm golden.

no problem

Got this: http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00QTE48WM/ref=pe_386430_126088100_TE_item
Use it mainly at the gym while working out. Went running with it once and no complaints! So handy not having to deal with earphone cords.

Yes they do, I have them and the sound is quite loud and clear, satisfied with them.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NZTHGN2?redirect=true&ref_=s9_simh_gw_p107_d0_i1
Use code R5I87BLP to take $10 off. Most are $20 before coupon. Sounds as good as my bluebuds X. Well worth the $10 and then some.

I use the Avantree Sacool Pro paired with the watch for running and they work and sound pretty good (a bit bassy but soundstage is nice and wide) for the price point. Claims to be sweatproof and I haven't had issues in that area yet. Battery life could be better though (3~4 hrs).

I use the Sony SBH-20 with a pair of Yurbuds when running and they are great. £20 ish for the SBH-20 and you supply your own earbuds.

Is anyone having problems wearing the watch on the left? I've tried 2 different headsets and they only work when my watch is on the right.

Im looking for headphones that have music seek controls (forward and back), pause, and a mic. They have to be compatible with the Atrix, as my nexus headphones are not.

Sony Ericsson MW600. Bluetooth headphones that work pretty well with the Atrix.
you need to make sure you have compatible software (music player) - there are only 4 wires (connections) - left and right audio, mic, and ground - putting more buttons doesn't change this fact.
Something has to interpret what connections you are making and breaking and turn that into actions.

I use these for both travel, and to drown out noise at work while I am constipating deeply:
Motorola S9-HD
So far I have had 5 hours battery life on a full charge, despite reading previously that a full charge was 2-1/2 - 3 hours. Now I have had time to really use them I have found it to be good. Also, the mic, although in one of the earpieces has had good feedback as far as people hearing me on calls. Atrix battery barely drains while using these over bluetooth.

I have the original S9 headphones, this 'sport headset' stopped working because of moisture while using at the gym. I just put them in a box, but discovered that this is a major and longstanding issue that Motorola refuses to address. Sound familiar?

I hear the S10 headphone are horrendous. The reviews on amazon are bad.
I have a S9-HD (came from moto warranty), and they are pretty good with Atrix. My previous phone seemed to hate them. Coudln't get a foot away without it cracking out. Seems to work okay with Atrix.
Just make sure you buy them from moto or amazon... there are a lot of fakes.
Other ones I like are the HT820's from moto, but I don't htink they sell them anymore. They are kind of big (and hurt your ears until you get used to them), but they have amazing range and like 15 hours of battery.

I have some S10s. Had a set of S9s before that. Sound reproduction on both isn't the best but as functional devices they are excellent. For good quality a headphone rather than an earphone is the way to go.
Only real downside is that the earbuds tend to ping off in your bag.
Haven't had any issues with moisture either. Even dropped my S9s in the sink once and they were fine afterwards.

I still haven't figured out why they won't work. My wife picked up a set of Bose headphones from Sam's for her iPhone and the button works on my Atrix, but the stock iPhone headset doesn't.
Its most likely proprietary, like everything apple makes is.

In my ears it is. It took me a while to decide on what ones to get. These can last around 14hrs or so on a charge and charge by micro usb.
I sometimes use the samsung headphones that came with the gs2 if i don't want the bt module on my shirt. I put it to my pocket. Kinda pointless to some but I keep my phone cordless like this.
I an charge it on a table or something while still using the bt function. And the stock ear buds for the gs2 have a mic and I think the mic is used during a call. Cause people say they can hear me fine when the module is in my pocket or far away from my mouth.
I am using a Plantronics Backbeat. The one I bought came with a dongle that plugs into a non-bluetooth device. So I use the headset with my phone, via bluetooth. And also can hook up to my TV using the dongle. Under $100.
Picked it up last year at Fry's.

I use a Motorola S305 set. They are cheap in price (under $40 at Amazon) but sound pretty decent. Owned them for almost a year with no problems.
i got a huge list
however of the ones that performed the best
Motorola HT820 the best sound and beat, full feature, easy to use, extra long battery life
as of today i've not found anything that can compare, i've pretty much purchased every sony, jabra, motorola, platonic, all other names i forgot, etc, etc
all the rest were like meh.. 3rd place or worse rating
platonics are the worse
in 2nd place best i'll name Jabra BT8010 super convenient, it kinda sucks in the sound quality for audiophile but gets the job done if you want elegance
What about the LG HBS700: http://www.amazon.com/LG-HBS-700-Wi..._1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1319749852&sr=1-1 inexpensive, comfortable. great sounding.
the wires kinda defeats the purpose

i'm looking forward to try out the new Motorola MOTOACTV https://motoactv.com/ which also have bluetooth stereo addon MOTOROLA SF700

[Q]"Best" Headset for Note?

Hi all,
I'm wondering what headset (Bluetooth/Wired) you use for your Note? I'm using Marshall Minor, but I still find the volume not loud enough.
Would any of you recommend something else? I live in Hong Kong which is fairly noisy, so something that has good volume would be great.
Thanks in advance!
I haven't got a Note yet, but I use the Sony MW600 bluetooth headset with my HD2. And I'd be lost without it - best thing I've bought!
No problems syncing to the device, it has remote control (pause, next/previous), hands free talk as it has built in mic, and comes with in ear buds, which are very good indeed. They block out quite a bit of external noise too, but you can plug in any headset you want to it if you want to go to higher spec headphones. Battery lasts about 10 hours continuous use, and it will re-charge of your Note's charger.
I'm not an audiophile, but I do like music. And it does me fine.
http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.ph...w600---black?gclid=CLftmIS1n6wCFYEZ4QodOzpc_Q
Edit - Just had a look at the Marshalls, and these would offer a tighter fit in the ear then the Marshalls, so would block out more external noise. I wear mine in work, even if i'm not listening to music. I work in the print industry with loud machinery, and they are better than the ear plugs we get given, which reduce external noise by 27 dB. If I'm listening to music in work while my machines are running, and you want to chat - then you ain't gonna get through unless you're in my face!

My previous headset was the Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800
Compared to the Sonys:
- They seem to fit better in my ear (they come with 3 different bud sizes)
- The earbuds are slightly larger and so I guess they do stick out a little more, though I haven't noticed any issue with it
- An extra 2 hours of call/music time
- Have FF/RW controls as well as volume adjust (The Sony's only have Play/Pause/Answer)
- I haven't had any issues with people hearing me or me hearing other people when using them, but I've yet to test them somewhere really noisy
- They come in Red (if that's your thing)

Besides being a gadget phone nut I am also a sick buyer of headsets. I have been in search of the perfect headset forever ..
There is one by Sony that I love the way it fits. They don't make it any more and every now and then I find one on eBay ..
I have the Sennheiser bluetooth headset. If you look hard you can find one new on eBay most of the time for about $60 .. I like that one a lot because I have small ear holes and those go on the outside of your ear ..
I also have 2 Bang & Olafsen bluetooth headsets .. One left ear which I am keeping and the other right ear which I am gonna sell when I find it .. I also have the wired Bang & Olafsen head set. I read that it has a teeny tiny microphone somewhere .. I don't know if that is my model .. use it for listening to music ..
I actually have a box of discarded bluetooth headsets. I should put them all together in one lot and sell them. Maybe I will do that today. Don't know if I can find all the chargers though .. They are all discarded because I find them uncomfortable to wear.
For music or movies I use the Sennheiser M400s which have a nice balanced sound and good battery life. For calls, it's hard to go past the Plantronics Discovery 975 - small and sleek, super comfortable to wear, and really good battery life (especially with the included charging case).......
I can't wear anything that doesn't go around the ear. And if it goes in the ear, ugh. After a half hour I have to take it out because it gets painful. Maybe if I had bigger ears .. or Man Ears .. it wouldn't be so bad. They are doing hearing aid implants now, maybe they could do a little bluetooth implant ??

the quality while talking is not the best but its enough for me.
Despite the positive comments about the quality of just listening to music, i can hear some "scratches" when a song gets "heavier". This is my first BT Headset so maybe its normal for BT headsets, or i just overlooked a setting i have to change in the Software.. Hint, anyone?

Hi, thanks for replying. I do not have a budget in mind, my usual principle is to pay what's worth its salt.
So far, everyone's recommended bluetooth wireless headsets, I'm not a big fan of charging stuff, having need to recharge my phone nightly already. But if there are no better wired devices out there, I might as well get Bluetooth because call quality is more important to me than music quality which my Marshall Minor does just fine.
I'm looking for a $100 max wired in-hear headset with mike and very complete remote too. It seems Android is not very friendly with those at all, so I'm thinking I'll have to go Bluetooth. What I found:
- http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/mc2.html, if their software works on Note (untested)
- a-JAYS One+, coming in Dec.: http://www.jays.se/products/earphones/a-jays-one-plus.html (uses software too)
- Sennheiser just confirmed they have nothing wired.
- Klipsch: Image S4A http://www.klipsch.com/image-S4A-headphones being adapted for S2, Note = S2 ?
- Samsung: told me to go f... (...ind a solution by) myself
Soft: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.kober.headset , and others, look for "headset control". This one has a trial version, yeahhhh ^^
EDIT: I'm putting everything worthwhile I find in this post, so as not to spread it all over the place.

Yep, I have the LG Tone+ bluetooth earbuds and they work very well.
I assume you're enquiring about the play/pause/forward/back buttons on the headphones and whether they work with the Play Music program? If so, then yes, they work flawlessly for me at least.

I bought them in the apple store $129.00
Not earbuds, but have been using the Sony DR-BTN200 bluetooth on ear headphones and they work great! It is NFC compatible as well, so it complements marvelously with my Nexus 5.
not earbuds but I use this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Avantree-Saturn-Bluetooth-Transmitter-corporated/dp/B0085HOM4K
With my very old but awesome sounding denon 751's. It makes any ear/headphones bt compatible and in my experience it works great at close range either in the car or while commuting. Battery lasts me about 5 to 6 hours use over 4 days.
Sound quality has not been hit at all my denons sound the same as when plugged in directly to the nexus 5.

i really like them for working out or running. they stay in place. the only con i have about them is that if you wear them with the cord behind your neck sometimes they can get caught when turning your head certain ways. to avoid that now i just wear them with the cord to the front. doesnt look as cool lol but cant feel anything but the buds in your ears. the sound quality is decent. one big thing i loved about these tho is that when you're wearing them it doesnt feel like you're covering your ears with your hands and can hear everything like footsteps or anything rubbing up against you. i originaly bought some jaybirds and they did exactly that, it was just too annoying for the price i had paid. i could hear my footsteps in my head and the cord rubbing up against my neck, you had to put the music too loud to try and cover the noises but you could always hear it
Great, thanks for all the replies guys.
I got myself a Plantronics BackBeat GO 2 Bluetooth Earbuds and they worked amaizingly with all the buttoms features it has, they are like 8 diferent combos for calls and etc.
I would really recommend this if anyone is looking for great bluetooth earbuds. :highfive:
I'm using the Outdoor Technology Bluetooth Tags with Play Music.
Jaybird Freedom JF3
they work perfectly... even though they're a bit older now and kind of bulky

[Q] Which headset works best with Asus Zenfone 2?

Hello guys,
I am searching for headphones (on the ear or over the ear model, preferably with mic). Please recommend headphones under price tag Rs. 2000 (30-35 USD) and should be available in India.
Thanks in advance!
We really need a compatible list of headsets that work with ZF2.
Since the volumes button used for changing tracks and volume are at the back they are best to operate only when being used with a hand and not so much for music listening.
I just tested Mi In Ear Headphone [Model ID:ZBW4122IN ].
Using the MUSIC app : Play, Vol+, Vol- and Next track works fine.
Calling : Big button switches microphone ON or OFF. Vol+ and Vol- work fine.

My Mi Phones(over the ear/on ear) work fine as well.
A Jays Five for Android are working well for me. But the app that goes with them is not so great (it works, but has limited functionality).
Headset Button Controller is better.
RIF6 Bluetooth headphones work well for me. They also have NFC for pairing, and the right headphone is a touchpad for controlling volume and forward/back. There's a microphone too, but I haven't tried that yet.
Sent from my serial terminal
I use Xiaomi Piston 2, all buttons working... sound is amazing... make sure get the original one
Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using XDA Free mobile app
Best headphones I've owned
Hello there,, I've been buying and trying in ear headphones and I think that Symphonized is the best one around for the price you're aiming. Better than Xiaomi, Skull Candy, Sony, Beats, LG and pretty close to Sol Republic at a fraction of the price. You can find those in Amazon. Also you. Can try Asus Zenfone 2 headphones. They're pretty good and cheap. Both Asus and Symphonized have mics and on/off button.

Oh man thanks a lot for this! I did not know this brand. In love with the wireless headset. I know the wood probably makes no difference, but its definitely funky!

Actually I think that wood makes all the difference. The reverberance it naturally creates manages to give a very nice audio. I now that they may not be a reknown company or be the best of the best, but for 20 USD I think they will astonish anyone. Just check the reviews on Amazon. Hope this helps! :good:
