is anyone else getting 2 card notifications on their watch whenever there is an event saved on their google calendar? I'm getting 2 card notifications on my watch for each event on my google calendar - one for "Agenda" and another for "Calendar". is there a way to disable the Agenda?
thanks!

Add Calendar into the 'Block app notifications' in the Android Wear companion app. It should be in there by default with a note saying 'Blocked to prevent duplicate event cards on watch'.
If that doesn't work, try disabling event notifications in Google App\Now.

Thx. Tried that, but some calendar events failed to show on my watch.

Hi,
I'm using the productivity lock screen on the one X, and even though I've specified that i only want to see my Google calender, Facebook birthday events pop up all the time. I unchecked the Facebook calender, but it's still there. Is there any fix for this?
Thanks

I haven't had this issue. But my productivity lockscreen is flickering like crazy!!! A reboot doesn't fix and its only that lockscreen. I don't think really coded this correctly.

Mine too. It was fine for two days and just started flickering today. Maybe the next update will help. A shame, it's really cool when it works.
This is gonna seem like a strange question but did all of you have an all day appointment the day it started going crazy?

I have the exact same problem.
I have both unchecked facebook calendar in calendar settings, gone to productivity lock screen settings and unchecked facebook. I have also repeatedly removed my facebook account but everytime i use the facebook app it automatically synces even when i have turned off automatic syncing. I have revoked all access to contact information via the facebook webpage under application settings. None of this makes a difference.
I am also unable to manually delete the facebook events and birthday events in my calendar.

The appointment that was showing when the problem started is "Tax Day" from Google Calendar which is an all-day appointment. It was fine before that came up. We'll see what happens tomorrow when it's gone. Like someone else said, trying to modify what's shown from the different sources in the lock screen settings doesn't change it from displaying what's already been selected in the master calendar app's settings (and vice versa).

Same here!! Now that Tax Day is gone I don't have any issues. I'm going to create an all day appointment and see if it comes up again. I wonder if an all day appointment has it constantly refreshing that screen.

Weird. I set up an all-day appointment for today using Exchange and the productivity screen handled it fine. Maybe it has something to do with Google calendar. Here's something interesting too. If you slide left or right you can scroll through what's shown on the productivity screen. Pretty neat.

I just tried to do the same and it worked fine. I did try and delete the "Tax Day" event but I couldn't. Maybe how it is made and synced caused the issue.
Had the same issue but:
go to settings --> Personalize --> Lock Screen Style
thumb to Productivity and click "Settings" on the bottom left
where it says "Display calendar events from" simply uncheck Facebook
There I fixed it
Someone already replied with those instructions - which don't work. I've got a gmail account with multiple calendars shared to it. When I uncheck all of them in the productivity lock screen settings, appointments from those calendars STILL show up in the lock screen.
Definitely a bug that needs fixing.
Exactly the same problem here...
I have unchecked the Facebook calendar but it still shows up in the productivity lock screen. This is very annoying!!
If you uncheck everything in the Settings, it won't let you click "OK"...
Yeah,i had the same problem to.I fixed it by removing the Facebook account in Settings and deleted all the contacts that were stored by Facebook.

I would not want to remove my facebook account because of the lock screen
See a nice reply from HTC:

Is there any other lock screen that would display calendar items?? Perhaps HTC customer service should use their own product and be more familiar before answering...

You can try and make you'r own lockscreen but without the calendar items.

Same problems here... I have multiple co-workers and family members calendars linked to my gmail account, and their events are all showing up on my lock screen. Like you, unchecking them in the settings doesn't do anything.
BTW, this is on an AT&T One XL.

Too bad I have no idea how to change/modify/create a lock screen...
Any tutorial?
same here
This has been driving me nuts. It only shows one event, some dude's birthday from face book. All I have selected is about three of my google calendars. I have multiple events in the next couple days, none of which are showing up, just buddy's b-day.
My #1 grip with iPhone was lack of lockscreen calendar (after coming form BB).
I am having the same exact issue on my phone as well. I'm on the EVO 4G LTE. Has anyone made any further progress with this?
Edit: still no luck after trying numerous things. I may just have to remove those extra accounts from gmail altogether.
Hi,
on my HTC One S the following fixed it for me:
Settings -> Accounts Sync -> Facebook -> Uncheck Sync Calendar + Uncheck Sync live feed.
Hope it works for you too.
Cheers
I wonder why there is no GMail Notification on the Productivity Lockscreen? Why is there only a notification for the plain Mail Client, but not for GMail?
Am I just blind and can't find the option to activate it, or is it faulty, that means you other guys have GMail notification?
I appreciate any feedback
Probably deliberately missing as HTC use their own Email client
Blame Google, not HTC. Its been ages now but Google changed the Gmail app to improve security and one of the changes is that other apps are no longer able to query to the number of messages unread in Gmail.

I thought that was fixed as of Gmail 2.3.6, I believe.
Others apps are able to use that call function (SMS Unread, MissedIt!, etc)
Has anyone had any luck with this? I would love to have my Gtalk and Gmail notifications on the lock screen when I have new messages...

Only workaround I can think of, off the top of my head would be to install a Lockscreen replacement (WidgetLocker for example) and use an app such as SMS Unread Count OR Missed It! to get those quick counts in there.
I don't know of any app that can give you a quick preview of your unread emails (subject, etc) that's not to say that it doesn't exist; I'm just not aware of one.
can't you just add google mail as one of the accounts within the native app? open the native app and go to menu/new account. you can choose a mail provider, including gmail. don't know if it will run two accounts at once. haven't tried it, and am not using gmail as my main account. so take what i suggest with a grain of salt. good luck.
I use the calendar app from Samsung because that one is optimized for the big screen of the Note II. When I get a notification for an appointment, I get it twice. Once from the Samsung calendar and once from the Google Calendar app. I had to install that last one because otherwise the Samsung calendar app doesn't sync with Google Calendar online.
I want to disable the notifications from the Google Calendar app, so I only get the notification once.
I set the notification in the Samsung app to vibrate and disable notifications in the Google calendar app.
But as soon as I reboot, these settings are reset!
Why is this?
Check again your Google Calendar settings because I've just disabled Notifications in General Settings then rebooted my phone and the option is still unchecked...

Yeah I checked and verified. I suspect it's a conflict between the two apps.
I wish Google Calendar would show the name of the appointment on the month overview, like the Samsung Calendar app does. That's the only thing that keeps me from using the Google Calendar app...
It seems like I'm not the only one:

Bizarrely my situation is the same but different - I want to just use Google Calendar, but after reboot my settings swap to have S Planner notifications on and Google Calendar notifications off. Only workaround so far seems to be to use S Planner, but I prefer Google... Any solution for using Google Calendar greatly appreciated!

Hi,
does anyone receive birthday reminders via smart notice? I've got birthdays in my google calendar but there are no reminders. "Birthdays" is ticked in smart notice settings.
What do I have to do to get notified?
Regards,
Rudi

I think birthday's have to be set in your contacts.
Ok, I should have mentioned it, that birthdays are in my calendar AND in my contacts...
After the latest LG update (10h-EUR) I receive birthday reminders.
I use Facebook Calendar Sync and every night at 12 it lists upcoming birthdays and I think rknuette it's right, they need to be in the calendar.
Sent from my LG-D851
For me also birthday reminder does not work. I have saved them to contacts and calender too.any solution?
On the top of the pixel 2 xl where it has the date and weather, its supposed to have your next appointment show up. Its not working for me. I'm using exchange and the appointments show up in the google calendar app, but not on the home screen. Anyone else have this problem or figure out a work around?

You need to have a reminder set and the reminder has to be triggered for it to show up.
Thanks for the help
I just created a reminder, it showed up as a notification, but the widget didnt change.

Does it have to be upcoming, or does the notification just need to fire?
just created an appointment with gmail calendar and it showed right up. Exchange, it doesnt show up
Edit: Appears to be an issue
