Its 4.4.2 and primary language is chinse.u have to change it to english.

i think to flash this you need to extract the recovery.img file, flash it through recovery and then flash the rom...backup first

i flashed the rom through cwm, still waiting for the rom to boot...i will update...

the rom doesnt boot, it stays on samsung logo...i tried flashing it over a lollipop rom and over a kitkat rom....the same result....dont waste your time

your right elias,, its too fast for the rom to be released. I coould not believe it, the time i saw the MIU V6 post, I think the title of the thread need to be changed, Its making people believe its miu v6, while it is not...

Dear OP, please have some knowledge while posting any thread to Developer region. You may be the reason for bricking many devices. If you have tested this ROM, at least share the status or procedure to flash the rom instead of sharing a whole thread in a single Link.

Yes it is multi language,but some inbuilt apps are chinese..and settings isnt working properly

When i tried to open setting,the phone hanged and a fc notification appeared.
i used micro gapps.
other than that this ROM is awesome

Settings fc :-
I also faced various fcs. What I did was that I booted the ROM - changed some settings - flashed gapps - booted again - and then I faced a lot of fcs.
Try this --- reboot recovery - and then do a factory reset - hopefully u won't get any fcs (worked for me)
Camera issue :-
I didn't get any camera fcs so far. Although I must admit that don't use camera so much.

Is this rom based on gearcm?

basically it is based on cm13 ( @TaylinG )
But it has many more issues than gearcm13
Untill it gets solved...i dont recommnded you but u can try it once

I'd suggest that you should try it once. I didn't find any issues with the ROM, which aren't already present in GearCM

Are you both using the DualSIM variant (G8142)? I built and tested this on the SingleSIM (G8141) so I wouldn't know if there is any potential issue with the DualSIM one. Though, the recommendation to boot using the Power+Vol down combo is probably what you need to try.
EDIT: shouldnt be because of magisk. I'll upload a build that specifically uses the DualSIM kernel, maybe thats what causes your issue.
EDIT2: I derped, there is no DualSIM specific kernel, so your issue must be cause by something else.

No I'm on single sim so no worries. It works perfectly! I held power+volume down and it went straight into twrp.

No, I had Magisk installed when flashing this.

I suppose that unlocking the bootloader is necessary to flash the recovery?

That's an issue with TWRP 3.1.1-0.
Older versions of TWRP can mount just fine.

Is your sdcard exFat formatted by any chance? I think that might be the cause. Will look into that later today.

It's not an issue you created but an old issue. Maybe they changed something from the old twrp versions in 3.1.1-0 and now it wont mount because of how its formatted like you said.
When I had the XZ/XZs I always used the old twrp version so it was never an issue for me but now it would be nice to find a solution for it I guess.
I ran blkid in terminal and it said ext4

Just uploaded TWRP-3.1.1-0-maple-20170720-3.img
This fixes USB OTG (tested and works), and fixes formatting the SDCard inside TWRP. I also removed V1 and V2 as they both could have gone very wrong when trying to format the USB OTG device. (The path was mapped to /dev/sda, which on maple is.. well.. the UFS storage, and therefore contains the bootloader).
Hence I strongly recommend upgrading to V3.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks to @kholk for pointing out my derp.

Everyone HAS to upgrade to V3 as soon as possible!
The previous versions are really dangerous and can hard brick your device!

How to boot in recovery from system?
My device with build: 45.0.A.5.1 after "adb reboot recovery" just reboots in system. From powered off state boots in TWRP correctly.

Yes maybe a rom problem havoc not booting for me every other 9 gsi i can boot without problems only havoc 9 stay at bootanimation for hours i use arrow 9 for now and got everything working only nfc and wifi hotspot needs a fix maybe you can give it a try i like havoc too but i need to get log file while booting but i am not able to working on a pc at the moment i am not at home for longer time but try arrow it is my daily driver and very stable for now don't got any crashes reboots or something......:good:

Tried ArrowOS and the device wasn't correctly registered for google, play services don't run. So tried PErom GSI, for the rom all well... but the Google camera is exactly as with HavocOS: doesn't run at all even with fix.

Try with universal safety net fix magisk module or install magisk props config to verify

with Havoc you have to restore a working Boot partition back up from another treble rom .-. at least that's how it was for me on the LG V30+ and camera worked 100% of the time

There is a new gcam with night sight out there how to get it working on a treble gsi the camera apk is from pixel 3 and must be amazing ! So far as i read about best camera software of the smartphone world ahhh it is itching under my nails please share if someone got a mod or got it working anyhow

I simply flashed aroma gapps in twrp recovery with camera at GSI installation.. then update in play store.. works 100%.. no other way works for me.. good luck..

I cant really remember but i think by flash the zip. By twrp recovery will show up the name of creator but maybe i am wrong at the moment i am on the liquid remix rom pie there i don't use this fix anymore

I just tried that on my Axon7 with Liquid Remix Pie, but once in play store, I only am able to install gcam from 2017 :/

IMPORTANT: VENDOR PARTITION NEEDED BEFORE FLASHING!
Make sure you have VENDOR PARTITION on your device before flashing the rom or else you will get boot loop or brick. You can check the forum for how to enable vendor partition or treble on your device.
Use this file for creating vendor Partition by flash in twrp.
Make backup first before flashing.
Flash zip, go to wipe and advance, select resize partition, then select vendor, choose where you want to create the vendor partition from( system recommend, and also the size should be 512 and above)
After creating the vendor partition, reboot recovery and format system, vendor and caches. Now you can flash rom.

GSI ROM works unstable, Can you port the Zip ROM to LG V30? The MI Mix 2 device shares the S835 chip:laugh:

good rom works flawlessly and had same mentioned bugs which is unfortunate for this caliber rom and no gallery app plus gapps kindly guide related that im looking for video editing like Lg gallery kindly advise me related that all if anyone had deeply used it kindly

No. VoLTE is only on stock firmware or stock based ROMs.

When is the update that will contain gapps coming?
