I don't know why my phone don't turn on, the only thing I can do with the phone is restarting it using power button and volume up, but the screen keep black, the pc does not recognize it and not even turn on the light.
What can i do?

What happened? Were you just using it, and it suddenly went black and now won't turn on anymore?

My phone just started acting up really weird. Whenever I would graze the power button (not even when I push it in all the way) the screen would lock and sometimes immediately turn back on. Some times the power menu would come up. Other times it would just restart and go into this weird loop where the screen would be black, the phone vibrates, and the LED just flashes. Does anyone know what I should do about this? I was using CM9, but this happened pretty randomly so I don't think its a software issue.

Try flashing a different ROM. There may a bug or something on that ROM that could be doing that.

You just got a malfunction power button. It happens a lot. You need to call samsung/tmobile for warranty service.

My phone froze, so naturally I held down the power button to get the restart option. Then it kept restarting over and over never making it past red eyeball looking screen. So I popped the battery out, waited a while and put it back in to turn back on. Nothing even if I try to charge it..nada, not eve the light on the front that lets you know its charging. Ive read about holding the volume down button + power to do a factory reset...nothing happens...Did I do something wrong or is phone fried?

Can you plug the phone into the computer and the computer recognizes something plugged in??

I've tried to see if it would charge from the computer no luck either. Computer doesn't recognize a device
As soon as the screen shows up it turns off, even if i quickly press Volume up, it shows familar ''Downloading'' screen AND THEN BOOM OFF BLACK SCREEN, did the Sam**** bricked?

will it reboot? and can you get into recovery?
I was using my phone normally and out of no where phone screen turned black. Hard reset it, turned on for a brief momment then turned black again. Now It wont turn on, if I hold Volumen + and power I can see the white razer logo but it goes black as soon as the logo disappears. The sounds works and if i touch the phone i can hear the sounds and key vibration. For some reason the phone wont enter the recovery mode. If I press volume + and power it just reastart, if I hold the powerbutton it wont turn off I guess and restart. Im trying to turn the phone completely off to see if i can enter recovery mode.
Any ideas? Dead phone?
I had the same experience 3 weeks ago. i only feel the phone vibrate when powered on or plugged.

did you ever figure out how to fix it? My daughters is doing this exact thing and won't go into recovery mode. All I can get is fastboot mode but its locked so I can't wipe or flash anything.
Hi, I recently bought an Xperia Play R800i. It arrived today, I let it charge for a few hours, but saw no power button light. I try to turn it on, it vibrates, but the screen stays completely black. The power light doesn't turn on, no red orange green blue or anything, the only thing I have that says it isnt an empty shell is that it vibrates when I hold the button. Ive tried flashtool, but it cant enter flashmode because the power button has no light and no matter what button combo I use nothing happens. It doesn't talk to my computer either. Help?
