Galaxy Tab Pro Splash Screen Problem - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 Q&A, Help & Trouble

I was playing around with my Tablet. Being a mad scientist trying to get root working on 5.1.1 and I did something that messed up the First boot screen that says. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro. Well its not there any more just a crazy screen lol Some times its a whiteish screen like static some times I swear it was my desktop after it boots up. The tablet boots up just fine. But the First Splash screen is toast. Anyone know the way to fix that?
EDIT: I have tried reflashing the whole 5.1.1 update with ODIN and still the first boot screen is bonkers.

I believe there is two logos, one is built into the kernel / boot (the one that says Galaxy Tab Pro), then the other animated logo is stored under /system/media/bootsamsung.qmg (Swirling Samsung Logo), so it sounds like something with the kernel or boot loader is messed up
I would try doing a factory reset, (you will loose all data), then a re-flash, if that doesn't help you might try to downgrade the firmware to kitkat (if possible) then re-upgrade again, maybe it skips flashing the boot loader if its already the same version ...but really it might not be worth the hassle if it's just the logo...

Try reflashing with Bootloader as you have nothing to loose

Every ROM bootloops

I have attempted to flash multiple ROMs via CWM and everyone results in a bootloop, I am normally rather tech savy and believe I am installing them properly. Each time I have to flash back to stock via Odin. I am rather lost as I don't know where to start with the problem (Which results in a lack of explanation)
What other information may be needed to try to solve this?
I have primarily tried Juggernaut http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1322642

Is it actually boot looping or just getting stuck on the logo??
Mine has taken as long as 10 minutes setting on the logo after a new rom flash ...
I assumed a boot loop was classified as the logo repeating over and over, as this is what is going on. When I attempted CM7 the blue circle/arrow just spun for 15+ minutes and with Juggernaut the "splash" colors thing just repeats over and over. No other screens appear.
Boot Loop, in my experience, has been when the logo is shown for a few minutes and then a quick (up to 30 seconds) black screen, phone vibrates and then the logo appears again repeating ad nauseam.

Yeah that is a boot loop ... the logo just hanging , is not a boot loop ..
I know it sounds strange, but try putting jug 4.1 and say the Faux123 kernel both on the phone, flash jug and then the kernel, then do a clear dalvik cache, and a fix permissions, then reboot, and let it sit for 10 - 30 minutes, I know it sucks ...
Can I flash these via odin somehow? Can no longer get into CWR after this last attempt.

[Q] Soft brick, neverending booting / boot loop. Am i doing this right?

Hi Guys.
So i flashed a few roms lately. started with EmotionMiUi then CM10, Omega, Alliance and well a few more.
i did a full wipe and cleared all caches each times and only had a few minor problems with the different ROMS that i was able to fix.
So i now returned to MiUi and have had it running for about a week. Tried some DPi modding yesterday, and did notice that it took longer time to boot and boot into recovery. i flashed the Xpose DPi remover, and continued using my phone. i have rebooted about 3 times today. And the last reboot caused the phone to enter the eternal "Samsung Galaxy Note II - N7100" boot static "animation".
Now i have tried pulling the battery several times, tried booting into recovery and the only thing that will let me boot into anything is power + home + volume down.
i have obtained the official samsung firmware ROM for my phone.
is my way ahead to "just" flash it using Odin, and i will have my good times back ?
Maybe try to clear Data and Cache partitions first?

Just to clear you're stuck at the start screen( the screen it shows Note 2 and model number)?
If so, then i have no clue
If your phone goes in a bootloop ( startscreen then samsung logo animation, blank screen, start screen, samsung logo animation...) I have faced this issue while flashing Stock ROMs and you can clear this by doing a factory reset though i have no clue whether this is the correct one for MIUI ROM.

i was stuck at the very first startscreen that just stayed there. i had been messing around with some DPi and a lot of tweaks.
i used Odin from my PC to flash the official firmware, then i used Philz recovery to format and clean before flashing my MiUi V5 ROM.
ALL works great.

Stuck at Samsung splash screen.

Hi,
I recently tried installing the new 4.3 update onto my Samsung Galaxy S3 I747. Also, I never rooted my phone and my carrier is Telus if that matters.
When my phone finished updating, it lead to the lock screen. Just as I was about to enter my pin and unlock it, the phone restarts and gets stuck on the Samsung splash screen. I have tried entering into recovery mode and then wiping the cache and restarting it, but no luck.
I do not wish to restore my phone back to factory settings because I do not want to lose my music and apps. Is there a solution that can fix it without wiping the memory?
Thanks.
edit: i left it charging for a few minutes while it was stuck on the samsung splash screen, and then it went to the lockscreen and restarted it self
... i have to wait five minutes before i can save my edit
editedit: it just went to lockscreen for a second again
editeditedit: its going back to lockscreen quite often and restarting it self

When you got it into recovery did you try to wipe data/factory reset??
But to be honest it sounds like your phone is soft bricked maybe. I'm experiencing the almost same problem with my AT&T sgh-i747. Mine is stuck at the Samsung Galaxy S III screen and doesn't go any further than that at all.
You will most likely have to do that same thing I am doing which is reflashing android 4.3 via odin. It may work for you, I'm pretty sure it'll work for mine. Head over here and read this thread and see if this can help if not let me know and we'll come up with somethin else to help you fix your phone. (If I'm correct following this thread and flashing via odin will not erase and of your data.)
Your only other real option is to install the 4.3 MJ2 leak via heimdall. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2496425
Heimdall will flash odin files. http://glassechidna.com.au/heimdall But odin will not flash heimdall files. It works much like odin flash in download mode so i'm told. I'm trying to figure it out now. I hope this helps.
I was never able to get the above Heimdall installed correctly on my pc. I am still stuck at the black and white galaxy s3 screen. I installed TWRP via odin to try my to run my nandroid i made earlier today and it says successful. But when I go to reboot It says No OS are you sure you want to reboot. I was already on 4.3.3 via the OTA update like you. And now i'm here turn phone on and it's going straight to download mode
Please HELP US BOTH Someone ANYONE

Duplicate Samsung Epic 4g logo on boot after re-flash

Hey there. Something strange has been going on ever since I re-flashed my phone. When I flash the kernel/rom other than the stock one I get a duplicate Samsung logo when the phone boots. (phone displays Samsung logo, goes black for a second then displays again before boot) I've been flashing and reflashing ever since I got the phone and now I'm getting this. I can get into recovery and download mode just fine and other than that there don't seem to be any other problems. This is just weird. I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this. Also, I'm wondering how such a thing can happen in the first place. I've re-flashed twice now and the result is still the same.
[EDIT]
From what I understand, the boot screen file is located in param.lfs. I've read before that you can add a screen but how in the world would a re-flash cause a duplicate screen to appear? I had a failed kernal flash happen where i couldn't access the recovery and had to start over from scratch but that's happened before.
[UPDATE]
Just tried to mod the boot logo and found out it's requesting "gaudi_bootimage.jpg" twice. I have no idea what this means. Gonna go back in and re-flash the old one back in.

Galaxy A50 Stuck on Boot

here's what happened, the phone started freezing and restarting every 5 mins, I uninstalled some apps thinking that's what's causing it, I used it for around 10 minutes and it was fine, installed the latest security patch update, restarted and everything looked fine.
plugged it in, saw it had restarted again and it was stuck on the Samsung Galaxy A50 secured by Knox screen,
rn: I can't enter recovery mode, (the phone won't shut down and releasing the volume down and holding volume up thing doesn't work)
I can only enter download mode, Connected to Odin, flashed the latest firmware and it passed successfully, but still it gets stuck and won't boot.
any ideas?:crying:
anyone?

Volume up and power doesn't do anything
Volume down + power restarts the phone but it comes to the same samsung black screen
Are you sure you flashed correct firmware? Tried to factory reset in recovery? Full Wipe and then flash the firmware?
You can also try 'adb logcat' to see what the error is if adb is available..

I can't enter recovery mode
Volume down + power restarts but I did try to go to recovery by releasing volume down and pushing volume up the second screen goes black but it's not working
I can only enter download mode when it's connected to pc with odin running
Could it be a hard drive problem?
And I'm pretty sure i got the right firmware
Tbh not sure i got my A50 just recently, didn't even flash anything yet. Is you phone detected when you type "adb devices" in windows cmd?

tried it, it doesn't recognize the phone.
is there anyway to figure out if it's a hardware issue?
cuz I've heard it's a somewhat common problem in the A50 for the hard drive/storage to go corrupt.

I am having a very similar problem to yours, so I will follow this thread. I was using my phone two days ago and it simply turned itself off and since then I am stuck in the logo screen. When the phone is loading I have no indication whatsoever of the battery percentage at all. I still can access option and factory reset and wipe cache (unlike you, apparently - but it does nothing for me). This simply does not help. I end up back at the logo Samsung Galaxy A50 screen. I have downloaded two different firmware... android 9 and 10 from Samsung mobile, and have used Odin to flash it. The process goes through ok and without errors. I get the pass message and the message that the phone is being updated. Then it is time for the logo screen again and form then on the phone simply does not start. I am lost. Can anyone help?

hey there.
apart from the factory reset thing it seems like we have quite the same problem,
at this point I'm afraid it might be hardware thing

You know... I am not really sure. The only different thing I did was to accept to instal a new firmware one or two days prior. I am inclined to think that was it. Anyway... I tried to flash Android 10... Android 9 (both via Odin) and did not work. The support team instructed me to do the hard reset a couple of times ... and wipe cache and nothing. Today I sent my phone to Samsung assistance since it is still under the guarantee because that is what they thought I should do. I'll keep you posted. Hope you can get yours fixed soon.

yh I installed that update too and this happened later the same night.
unfortunately for me all the shops n services are currently shut down because of the Co-Vid situation so i have to wait for now.
thanks for sharing, lemme know what happens.
I've had these same problems before. When flashing with Odin, don't populate the last slot with anything (the HOME_CSC slot). Flash it to the device without auto reboot on, restart the device manually and hold vol up + down to get to blue scrern, then unlock bootloader. Let it restart, then reflash ROM.
