You can't make a ftf from a modified system, that's why you can't root so easy. (I guess hehe).
I got the same problem with KING-DANO.....
The WIFI does't work ??
As in title, this is just a deodexed + zipaligned + root + busybox stock World Generic.
Before flashing as any other ROM keep sure system is unmounted or you'll get Error status: 7
If you are not coming from a JB ROM you MUST wipe your DATA!
It might be useful for developers and modders
Link: http://dfiles.eu/files/i3galgtki or http://uploaded.net/file/tkpkpqae
Original .ftf: http://dfiles.eu/files/bh6inz1bp or http://uploaded.net/file/ijaessju
Installing on Locked Bootloaders:
To install this ROM you just need a working recovery and flash it like any other ROM. But after installig the ROM you will need a JB kernel! So just flash the kernel from any JB .ftf with flashtools
Installing on Unlocked Bootloaders:
Install it from any JB kernel with a recovery, this wont rewrite your kernel

im looking for that error and uploading the prerooted one
PD: anyone else getting that error?
PD2: thats a typical error when the system partition has no info or build.prop, the script makes sure that you are flashing on the correct device, the solution is simple, flash system partition from the FW with flashtool and then try again with my rom
File updated, now it's Deodexed, Zipaligned, Rooted and busybox installed. It also has a new updater script to avoid some errors while installing.
Enjoy

Hmm, just download it, extract the updater script on metainf/com/google/android and with notepad delete the line:
"format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p14", "0", "/data");"
then compress it again and install it.
By doing this you delete the line that wipes all the data and you will keep all your apps, data, etc.

I believe if you only flash the zip through cwm, you will be stuck in a bootloop, you will need to flash the kernel too using flashtool.

Thanks. I went back to the .423 build (4.2.2) so I could root and already got a notification for the .244 update. Do I download (and install) the update?
Afterwards, is the procedure the same?:
1 - Put 'Flashable.101.zip' on (the external) SDcard1;
2 - Put '10.4.1 .B.0.101_Stripped.ftf' inside the Flashtool/firmwares folder;
3 - Create a backup of your phone in TWRP and don't forget to backup the contents of 'SDCard' (the internal storage!);
4 - Flash 'C65XX_10.4.1.B.0.101.flashable.zip' in TWRP;
NOTE: do not reboot but go back to the main menu, then go to reboot->power off;
Flash everything in 'C65XX_10.4.1.B.0.101_Stripped.ftf' using flashtool;
Reboot to system.
Thanks.

After rooting 4.2.2, you need to update to 4.3 10.4.B.0.569 using this thread:

Then proceed with .101.
Went straight to .101.... no problems whatsoever, but thanks for the advice.

Just flash the stock FTF if you need to come back to stock. It will be back to full stock without root or recovery if that's what you need. Use Flashtool to flash in Flashmode
If you flash my zip through cwm and did nothing else than that's probably why you cant boot, just flash the stripped FTF via flashtool. you probably cant boot becoz of your custom Kernel.

Hi, I've deodexed the /system partition to the most recent update (at the time of writing), 15.4.A.1.9, of the Sony Xperia M SINGLE SIM.
The files have been taken from the C1904 ftf, but will work perfectly fine on the C1905 too. The deodexed files come in a neat .zip for if you have an unlocked bootloader, if you don't have an unlocked bootloader please refer to this guide on how to push the files to your device.
I have also modified the services.jar file to enable SUPERUSERMOD, just push the new file to your device and enjoy. You also need to be deodexed to use SUPERUSERMOD.
I will keep this thread updated if any new firmwares get released. Just check back after about a day and I should have them up for you.
15.4.A.0.23 Files:
Deodexed files
services.jar
15.4.A.1.9 Files:
Deodexed files
services.jar
15.4.A.1.10 Files:
Deodexed files
services.jar
I never actually stated how I made these files, for the deodexed files I used the Kamome tool (thanks for your tool @AndroPlus) and for the SUPERUSERMOD I followed the guide by @DavidMKD.
Thanks buddy!!!

im thinkin i should just deodex and leave out the superusermod as i actually have access to system files then

Yes, definitely for the 15.4.A.1.9 firmware. I downloaded the aforementioned firmware for the sole purpose of making these mods. I can only assume it is something in your build.prop why it is displaying like that. Try copying the original build.prop to your phone, setting the correct permissions and then rebooting.

Unfortunately this is common, have you tried pulling the battery and then restarting once it is put back in? Also, have you deodexed (or at least deleted the odex file to services.jar)? This is required, I suggest deodexing first and then replace the services.jar file.
Polish translation (used Google translate so forgive if it is inaccurate):
A do reszty potrzebuje superuser mod...
I tried all the time ... Full root + deodex ... I wanted to add the look of Z2, but the version that works (and does not need superuser), is incompatible with Gravitybox ... And the rest needs superuser mod ...
