No my friend. Unfortunately it is not the only one. There are many ways to kill the device software. For example:
* Flash foreign bootloader, kernel, recovery, pit via Odin
* Flash foreign update.zip from different device via CWM or Mobile Odin - needs root
* Remove dev/block
et cetera...

Hello, having had P6 for exactly a month, I got fed up with the Emotion UI lockscreen. So by messing with GravityBox I noticed that there was AOSP lockscreen running behind the huawei one. This suddenly led me to a conclusion that the AOSP lockscreen exists and works.
You should be rooted and have somekind of a root filemanager for this.
1. Navigate to /system/app
2. Find HwLockScreen.apk and rename it to HwLockScreen.apk.bak or something like that. Works without having to restart the device.
nice , but i cant have widget in lockscreen !!
whatever :crying:
You can also deactivate the Huawei Lockscreen App in the Settings, thats easier and you don't need root.
Oops, that is also possible yes.
Nice
Wow thanx, for that good tip
Any one knows, how i get the shortcouts for CAM and SMS at the lock screen :good:

Paid apps in ROMS are seen as Warez.
If there are full (paid) versions of apps in this Rom, it is seen as piracy and this is strictly not permitted on xda

I flashed it with TWRP for KK without problem. I just flashed it again for a test, straight from B506 to this ROM, no problem at all.
Yeah I know this is endless discussion. Maybe someone like creator of TWRP for our device can explain why I can use TWRP for KK to flash anything. Maybe I have special edition P6
