Hello Everyone!!
So here is a new ROM I compiled yesterday, it does have a lot of features and it is called SONIC OPEN KANG PROJECT
I didn't open a new thread for it because I'm not gonna be updating it unless many users encourage me to do so...
Anyway I thought I should share it with you guys, for who ever wanna test it
Here is this ROM's features:
http://sonic-developers.com/?page_id=160
Also here is a quick review for the ROM:
And for more info visit their website:

I've started uploading my files to androidfilehost.com , hoping you like it more than Dev-host

Here are my screenhots as well:
Hello Guys,
Since our lovely Z1C is relatively new, it doesn't have many CM based ROMs, so I thought why not porting some
from the closest phone to ours (which is obviously Xperia Z1).
So I'll be presenting five ports for five ROMs as mentioned in the title, but I'm gonna start with a simple guide for how to port the ROM yourselves
All you have to do to port a CM11 based ROM from Z1 is:
Download the Z1 ROM and extract it wherever you want
Open META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script with any text editor and remove first five lines (assert)
Download This for old builds, and This for new builds, then unzip it
Copy and replace "boot.img" from the previous zip to your Z1 ROM
Copy and replace "modules" folder to system\lib\modules in your Z1 ROM
Open system/build.prop with any text editor and change this value:
Code:
# Graphics
ro.sf.lcd_density=480
to become:
Code:
# Graphics
ro.sf.lcd_density=320
that is it, although there are optional things you may do before compressing the ported ROM:
In system/build.prop search for honami and replace them with amami
And then search for C6903 and replace them with D5503
Also you may wonna add "Compact" here:
ro.product.model=Xperia Z1 Compact
Click to collapse
You may also open META-INF\com\android\metadata and do the same replaces
Resign the ROM.zip after compressing it
Important Notes:
DO THIS ON YOUR OWN RISK
You must be running KK ROM before flashing these ROMs down below
This method won't work on Slimkat, although you can grab it from Here
All bugs in these ROMs are related to the original ROM not issues caused by posting
Fell free to report any bugs you face though, and I'll enlist them in known issues
PacMan ROM and MoKee ROM are officially supported, so there is no need to port them
Instructions for all ROMs down below:
Copy the zip to your device
Reboot into recovery
Backup of your system (optional)
Do a factory reset and format [/system]
Flash the Zip

Great work!
I wonder if you would do Slimrom also, it is a mainstream ROM with many innovations that other ROMs have copied.
[edit] Duh I just read your comment about slimkat. That'll learn me to read OPs properly...
wow, this looks good, i think ill try MoKee, just one question, is everything working ?
Just flash rom and some gapps ?

Yes just flash rom and some gapps, try it and give a nice feedback
Might be a dumb question, but will updating them through the rom settings mess anything up?

I don't expect updates to appear in the ROM's settings, but if they do,
yes updating that way should mess up a lot, it should make a bootloop.
anyway if you see an update for the ROM you're using, just tell me and I'll port the new release right away

Yeah it's been a week, so here are the Updates of this week:
Updated Carbon ROM to build 4 (2014-04-09)
Updated MoKee ROM to build 2014-04-04 (its kernel was updated to FXP314)
Added XenonHD ROM latest release build 5 [2014-04-02] (download link in second post)
it is very customizable (can't describe it enough)
you can check more info about it in its main thread
about the kernel update, it seems like FXP team have messed up thier kernel a little
so when I tried it on Carbon and XenonHD I got some sort of bootloop,
but it worked fine on MoKee, so MoKee is the only ROM that has FXP314 kernel,
I don't recommended anyone to use it for porting so I didn't upload it

Actually the problem is not much with the latest kernel, but rather with the ROMs:
Recently there was a huge changeset merged in CM tree, among other things it took in kernel a lot of CAF code\blobs from 4.4 Sony sources, and Xperia CM ROM was rebased on this CAF kernel.
It means, that the ROMs based on CM must be rebuild using latest sources, otherwise they'll have a bootloop with the new CAF kernel =)

unfortunately yes, if you want to flash a custom kernel, you have to have an unlocked bootloader (and that is required to flash custom ROM)

The last time I used this was back a couple of months ago. The reason I moved back to stock was random reboots on twonky beam app.
Other than that it was quite good. Though for me the ringtones were too quiet

Actually this ROM is too unstable for daily use, and some features are missing. Update: How the "XDA rule" says: Do NOT ask for ETA. RaymanFX has got some exams to pass it first, so be patient until he finishes those exams. But anyway. Before you make a topic, use the search function. Havent tried mokee 50.2 yet. But does mokee too have the touch screen bug during call?? i.e during call, the display turns off but touch screen still responds and opens up calendar and bluetooth and so on due to our ears and face touching.???
I guess it might be present in mokee too. Since mokee 50.2 and cm12 by syhost uses the same kernel. And CM12 by syhost has this issue. So most probably he might not have solved it for mokee also.
Can you confirm???
I just switched back to cm11 due to HUGE battery drain overnight. It seems cm12 was the culprit because wakelock activity was quite usual. Anyone having same issue? Although I used 20150319 build and not 20150320, I'll try it maybe tomorrow. Until then how's battery backup for new build of cm12 and of mokee too?

Hello
I tried to build CM12 for the Z1c but this eventually failed at some point.
I followed the instructions that can be found on the cyanogenmod wiki.
The building system eventually tells me that the repo manifest is missing.
Where do I get one and to be more precisely, where do I get the one the cyanogenmod developers use?

Have you tried the CM12 - Android 5.0 - FreeXperia Project
I would start by trying to flash a rom from an XDA Z1 compact thread, that way you know it's been made for your device and that you'll get some support from the developer (hopefully).
I love the camera on my Z1 compact too much to break it with a CM build, so I can't be of any more help. Sorry.
Thanks. But I'd like to build my own rom.
But I cannot find the needed manifest file. I would appreciate if someone who already built CM12 for the amami would share it here.
Hello everyone. I decide to build my unofficial builds for Sony Xperia M (C1905/NICKI) device since official builds stops.
Main differences comparing with offiicial LineageOS:
Integrated OMS patch with LineageSubstratum project. Before that, i used LineageOMS project, but author decide to freeze development. Currently only clean Lineage 14.1 will be builded. Latest rom with LineageSubstratum - lineage-14.1-20171126_103228-UNOFFICIAL-nicki-loms
Removed 2 apps: Snap (due to video recording bug) and Camera2 (due to sdcard save problem). Replaced with OpenCamera
Warning! These builds incompatible with last official build for Xperia M lineage-14.1-20170427-nightly-nicki-signed and requires full system/data/cache wipe.
Building is performed from time to time or weekly based. So check & download my build host recently! BTW, all builds checked manually by me on my phone, so be sure - no invalid roms.
Download roms: lineageos.do2.pw
Explanation of filenames:
-los.zip - clean LineageOS build
-loms.zip - with LineageSubstratum patches
-nicklas.zip - with F2FS patches and Mimori kernel
builds before 24.08.2017 are with LineageOMS patches
Flash this for dual sim models (c2004/c2005),
Flash this for standart LOS root.
If you need - Opengapps arm 7.1 (pico recommended)
Device: sources
Kernel: sources - original LOS nicki kernel
Vendor: blobs - from the TheMuppets repo
Build manifest (with LineageSubstratum): here
Build manifest (with LineageOMS): here
Build manifest (without LineageOMS): here
Build manifest (with F2FS patches and Mimori kernel): here
Big thanks for LineageOS, LineageOMS, LineageSubstratum, Nicklas Van Dam for updated device tree, The Muppets for blobs. And all testers for reasonable replies

Yep, thats known bug with com.cyanogenmod.snap application. Any other camera app record video without bugs. I recommend Open Camera (net.sourceforge.opencamera) from F-Droid.
It might be heard stupid...but how can I change the battery circle to percentage? There was always this choise in other roms but I cannot find it here.
By the way,I installed it yesterday paired with hana kernel, overclocked to 1350...it is really fast (for its age)! No overheating issues just one random restart.I do not know if it is the rom or the kernel,I will find out in the future.I do not have a sim inside (it is just a back up phone).I installed apps, browsed the internet, browsed in phone files etc.It is good.Concerning speed >Antutu bench stock ~19500,overclocked bench ~24500.

Big update for this firmware! Replaced kernel to modded HanaKernel (limit max_cpu_freq to 1458MHz, min_cpu_freq to 192MHz - for stability at boot stage), replace Snap to Camera2 (Snap is useless in video recording at this device), replaced my phone blobs to blobs from TheMuppets repo.
