I've never had this problem. I'm assuming you're registered & logged in? i'd suggest re-downloading the apk (maybe you've an old or corrupt one) or failing that - switching it off & on or hitting it
I have installed UK-TV-NOW3 apk file onto my FireTV 2nd Gen, but for some reason it has requested to use/have the MX Player APP...
The problem is that if I try to sideload the MX Player, the APP is not installed because it says that is not compatible with the FireTV2...
So I would like to know how can I use this UK-NOW3 APP, if I can not install MX Player on my FireTV 2nd Gen. Unit?
Does anyone is currently using UK-NOW3 on FireTV2 BOX or knows how to solve this annoying problem with MX Player?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Problem Solved!
As I said before, I could not sideload the MX-Player APP, because I always got the following message:
"This application is not supported by this device."
So I decided to use the "Apps2Fire" APP, to send via WIFI the MX-Player to my FireTV2, and surprisingly MX-player finally was installed without any problems!
I wanted to mention this here, because the same thing happened to me before with other apps, that I could not install them directly, and I was forced to install via WIFI using "Apps2Fire" or "AGK Fire"...

the plugin itself loads fine but other plugins such as genesis and mashup have real issues 1 issue is that genesis opens up but once i click movies and then go to click 1 of the categories it says loading and just as quick then stops loading at stays at the same menu i was at
i use xbmc on many devices and never had any issues was wondering if anyone could help me solve it or better yet upload there xbmc data so i could restore it to mine using the amazon fire utility app any help would be great thanks
Make sure you are using the new URL: http://fusion.tvaddons.ag
Lambda just updated Genesis to version 3.1.0. It is super fast with new HD sources.
thanks for your reply i was already using the latest its as if im not receiving the sources for some reason or should i be installing any modules as i received errors that the elementtree script didnt have its dependencies met would you mind backing up your xbmc configuration through the fire tv utility for me and sending me it in a zip so i could try yours out please
I would if I could figure out how to backup my SPMC install with adbFire. That's my new daily driver and the most up to date install that I have.

Did you open ADBFire preferences and change package name to: com.semperpax.spmc?

back thankfully with my solution it turned out that my router was blocking my amazon fire in the firewall i found this out by disabling the firewall temporarily on the router, and then i was manually able to open the ports to the amazon fire tv box but anyways just letting yous know i got it sorted thanks for all the help
TVAddons released a specific android version called TVMC which will load all that for you automatically. Its still good to learn the inner workings of XBMC though.
getting the same thing on the fire stick genesis movies not working?
Has anyone got the torrent stream controller apk to work with fire tv. For me it worked for a maybe 5 or ten 10 times initially then the acestream engine application just crashes .Re installing doesn't work i did a factory reset and this fixed the issue again for a short period but then the acestream engine errors reoccur. i am on a unrooted uk fire tv. So frustrating because when it did work it was excellent.
if acestream fails, in any file browser app navigate to your storage root and delete something like org.acetream... folder and start acestream engine again.
Btw what version of acestream do you have? Latest 3.0.3 doesn't have this problem...
hello ,iam have the same problem with the lg g3 and the latest version of acestream

Guys please help as i'm tearing my hair out here and i already dont have many left.
I'm trying to delete a videos on mx player on my firestick it comes up with error saying it needs write permission after android 5 and when I click yes it comes up with a white screen and doesnt let me select anything, I have also tried installing a mouse and this doesnt work either.
Please help guys as ive spent weeks now to fix this simple problem.
Go to FireOS settings
Settings / Applications / Manage Installed Applications / MX Player / Permissions / Storage - set to allow
This will give Mx Player write permission
This did not work

You will need to reinstall the MX Player.
Uninstall the app first.
Connect with firestick using adb
Install the app using this command
Code:
adb install -g MX.apk
Here MX.apk is the name
Firestick sometimes doesn't allow changing storage permissions after the app is installed thats why you will have to use the above mentioned code to give the necessary permissions at install time.
