[Q] Keyboard case for the LG G pad f8.0?

I'm looking for a keyboard case that I can use with my lg g pad f 8.0. Problem is I tried a case I have laying around that uses the micro USB port and the tablet did not recognize it even though my phone does (lg g flex) so I know the keyboard works. I plugged my desktops keyboard into the full USB port and that worked. So do I need to get some sort of female micro USB to male USB to connect the keyboard, or some other converter to use the micro USB, or am I just going to have to get a blue tooth keyboard case and deal with that?
Thanks in advance!
Since this tablet has a USB port, USB OTG (VIA the micro USB Port) does not work. You need a bluetooth keyboard or One with a standard USB cord.

Can I send files from the Nexus 5x to a pc via a USB OTG cable?

Hello,
I want to buy a usb-c cable for my Nexus 5x. But I also need a USB-c otg cable. So I would like to know:
Do I need both? A usb cable without otg in order to connect it with a pc and also a usb otg cable to connect it with other devices or is a usb otg cable everything I need? Is it possible to send images from my Nexus 5x to my pc via a usb otg cable?
Either way you'll need two different cables to do both since the USB OTG will go to a USB A female connector and you'll need a male connector to plug into your computer. I'm not sure if it would properly give up host to your PC when you tried to connect to it anyway.
Also in the future you might get more help in the Q/A sections for these types of things.

USB C and ethernet

Hi all,
Has anyone tried a USB C to Ethernet converter... I tried one today but seems as if Android won't see it as a connected device or get an IP address...
Has anyone tried this before I go down a road that leads no where...
Thanks
Tried a Windows contiuum Dock once, but that was not connected to the Ethernet
I am facing the same problem.
I tried the official cable, usb type c to usb type A, it doesn't work. Then I bought a usb type c to usb type c cable, neither...
What about installing a custom kernel that supports usb to ethernet over otg?
It should work with some devices, but not sure about any HTC.
Both LG V20 and Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ support OTG USB to ethernet adapters. See more here:

OTG and power negotiation for peripherals.

Nexus 5x 7.1.1 rooted.
OTG works when mounting a flash drive, using a USB-C -> female USB A adapter.
If I plug in a USB LTE dongle, it doesn't power on. I've tried the above adapter, and a standard micro-USB OTG cable connected to a micro-USB -> USB-C adapter, without success. The dongle works with an OTG cable on a Galaxy S4, and on computers.
USB-C can manage OTG via negotiation between the phone and peripheral; it doesn't rely on the ID pin to be shorted. I'm guessing the dongle doesn't have the software to talk to USB-C devices.
Has anyone else had issues with peripherals (not flash cards) connecting via OTG?
For reference, the dongle is a Huawei 397u-53 4G LTE adapter.

LG G7ThinQ not recognizing USB Type-C USB drive

Hello all,
I have a 64GB usb storage thumb drive with a standard USB male connector on one end and a USB Type-C male connector on the other. It works fine when connected to a PC via the standard port, but nothing happens and the File Manager does not pop up or show any additional drives on the device.
Does anyone have any insight into this?
The device is running Android 9 currently. It's the Korean version of the LG G7.
Thank you.
