i have bad imei right now '' 004999010640000''
the companies does'nt accept this imei in France , i was using this mobile without problem in Belgium...
i have cyagenmod 11 installed on my phone.

I think only when you have a backup. Else you need to search for a shop that does this..

First of all sorry for my english.
So about what is the tread
There is arround 10 bricked phones in Bulgarian Android Forum.Becouse we cant find where is the problem I decide to ask here.
Problem: After flashing stock test 4.3 and downgrade after back to 4.1.2 the result is --IMEI 0049 and Permanent Test Mode.
what we know until now:
Phones bought from shops for phones reported they downgrade back without issues
Phones bought from mobile operators -bricked IMEI
Flashing again 4.3 after brick do not restore IMEI

Impact on device/How I know I have corrupted EFS
When there is EFS partition is corrupted, device loses IMEI and due to this device can't gets connected to network. Baseband info also sometimes shows unknown.
-Check your IMEI in setting / by dialling *#06# if it is null OR if it starts with 0049** then IMEI is generic and corrupted. In Normal case IMEI which you can see in device setting or dialing *#06# is exactly same you can see on bill/box/sticker under battery compartment
-If you are unable to connect to network in spite of correct IMEI, chance are
A. Your device is Locked to specific Network OR
B. Your device is banned due to tempered IMEI
-If your AP,CP,CSC all are correct and even you are getting error (unknown CSC XXX) on kies update, it may be due to corrupt Product code in EFS. Read This for detail.

If you dont have efs backup then you probably need the z3x box to make repair for your imei and change it to the original one didnt test the ariza patch on this kind of problem but why not give it a shot

I battled for a long time with this same issue with my wifes S4. Tried different radios etc. Ended up takinbg it to the Samsung Care centre and they replaced thebmainboard. The efs partition was completely screwed. Warrantee should cover it and only took about 2 days in South Africa

I try to install new firmware "4.3" by Odin and after that ,
I get message " Not registered on network " ,when startup the Note2
and the Note 2 has been frozen and doesn't respond else after more trying
Sometimes phone has restart automatically .
I don't have any EFS backup
I don't have bluetooth address
Now IMEI : 004999010640000 not the original IMEI

I don't know what i can do it .

Before doing anything you should backup EFS. Unfortunately, EFS is unique and can't be replaced by any other.
If you have a corrupt EFS folder on your SD card, try the procedure in the link given below

If this does not work out for you, don't get into whirlpool of flashing this and that.
Send it to service center with Original bill and IMEI.

i was just searching tthe ways in the net and i have found........that my imei number is deleted ...
So firstly type *#06# to see ur imei number if it is showing then I can not help u and if it is not showing imei number then i can help u

Im facing exactly the same problem. *#06# is showing correct imei. So dont think it is a imei problem. Any help guys. My mobile is off now

I Just thinking u should firstly flash a stock rom with formate all + Download option and then try to flash the imei on your smart phone//\\

I already flashed the stock rom and format all but still I've the same issue. Even my imei no is absolutely correct. Still no network.
i got a s8+ from t Mobile i got it from a guy that says i cant restore factory because i lost the unlock of the sim card i check the imei from about device and its diferent of the imei on the back cover of the phone so if i update to 8.0 i will lost that ? there is any way to backup the imei info? im from mexico now works great please help

Dont update the imei was changed becuz it was most likely black listed aka phone has been reported lost or stolen
