Hello everybody!
I updated my HTC One V (Vodafone Romania) last night to software version 2.24.708.2. My phone used to have restart problems(it restarted by itself sometimes during phone calls) , and the update said it had "performance optimization and bug fixes". Where can i find a list of those "fixed bugs" so i can see if my retarting phone issue was addressed ?
Thanks !

i dont think that you can see the changelog for an ota update for your official stock ROM (maybe i am wrong) ..welll usually it notifies you what changes its about to do ,if it does not, you wont know the exact changes it did...
why do even need it?? Just root it

The thought of rooting my phone did came across my mind multiple times, but as i said before, the phone has some restarting issues, and i don't know if the phone itself is broken or it's the software's fault.
If it's a problem with the phone, by rooting it, i will void my warranty(i think), and if it breaks later i won't be able to send it in service.
Anyway, did any of you had the problem? Where the phone restarts itself during or after a phone call?
It becomes annoying, and the problem is, it's not something regular, i mean, the phone could work fine for weeks, or it could restart itself 10 times in a few days. I couldn't find any reason for why this happens . That's why i want to see the changelog...
nope didnt happen to me on stock
send to hTC and see if they can fix it or not
:fingers-crossed:
Hello everyone,
I am new to all this stuff. I got a replaced htc one m8 from htc. It worked fine for 7 months and after that i got an official update of marshmallow. I have updated my phone to Marshmallow, it worked fine for 7 days. Suddenly I started getting a error message like com.android.systemui had stopped working unexpectedly. So I just rushed to service center and gave my phone there. He tried to flash the rom and immediately called me and said that your phone is rooted since there was S-off sign showing in your device. Then when they tried to install os, it was not successfull and it was restarting again and again on its own. Then he confirmed me that its motherboard issue and we cannot do anything.
My Question is whether this problem be solved by rooting and all that stuff or just throw my phone? If we can do anything then wat is the procedure? What is flashing? Will that solve?
Please help me to solve this problem
Hello everyone
I have a lenovo vibe p1a42
When i bought this phone i was initially able to update without any problem til build no. S147_151288_ROW. But after that when i received notification of new update available, i downloaded it bt I cannot update it. I tried it several time. Every time it jist takes me to recovery mode, starts updating then at 24% it fails. I tried updating manually. I also tried using Lenovo Smart Assistant. But all of them give same result.
I am unable to uodate any furture. Can u tell me what should i do? I hear that this phone has now MM update too, bt i'm stuck.
Also, my phone has stopped vibrating. No vibration on anything. The vibration does works sometimes, bt again stops working in few min. I dont know whether this is software related or h/w prob. I will take it to service center if the problem doesnt solve on updating the os.

I wanted to try tht but i cannot find a link for s152 version file. I tried contacting lenovo through their official forum, they said bring it to service center. I think i ll just do that only. Since i anyway had to go there for my vibration problem.
BTW Thank you for reply.

I understand your pain.... lenovo OTA updates are very finicky. If you want marshmallow you can straightaway flash that ROM (the latest one is S285).
But please make sure to backup your data since this will definitely wipe all your data (same as factory reset). There is thread in on this forum which gives a fairly easy steps on flashing ROMs folr Vibe P1.
If you want to root your android 6.0 though, thats a different story.
Still have a look here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/vibe-p1/development/qpst-flashing-vibeui-3-1-s272-rom-t3386650
You can flash ROM fairly easily from flashing steps mentioned in above thread. If you feel rooting steps are complex, you can still stay on unrooted rom, at least it will be the latest one.
Hey guys,
I wanted to clean update my Sprint Note 4 to the latest firmware update that had been released not so long ago from today (almost 1 month back I guess). I connected my phone and opened Smart Switch but it didn't show any update notification is it does usually. I tried installing and uninstalling many times but it doesn't show the update option at all when the phone is connected.
Also, I was having issue of Backup being stuck at 100% and no disk activity was happening at that moment (which is now fixed because I installed SS on the 64-bit Program Files folder).
Does anyone know a fix to this?
Regards.
Zeekay.

Yeah but that would completely wipe off my data, SS updates the phone with all the data in place.

No it won't wipe unless if you stuck in bootloop after flashing and you have to do factory reset.
Is there a way that i can re install oreo on my moto z play? I'm already running oreo from the official OTA update weeks ago but i'm facing battery issues so i was thinking maybe if manually re-installing the update can help. Thanks
Just reset the phone to its factory settings. That'll solve the issues.
