Is it possible to force the device into emergency recovery mode to get it back to stock, the stock simply WILL NOT flash and they only thing I can think of would be to get it into that mode to get Keis to flash the stock rom. If I try to flash it in Odin I always get a "Failed (Auth)" error.

On trying to update (stock, not rooted SM-T310 device) it went into a bootloop and I CAN NOT access recovery. I can still get into download mode. I've attempted to flash the stock firmware for 4.2.2 using Odin, but it fails. I've also attempted to flash another recovery, ODIN reads it as a success but I still can't get into Recovery mode.
Any suggestions? Or is the device a complete brick now?
Thats is no problem, you must use the 4.4.2 Stock ROM with Odin and the Download Modus, after that should everythink be ok.The 4.2.2 is not working.
You can download it from here
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=SM-T310&pcode=0#firmware
Still get a failure. On the Device it reads "SW REV. Check Fail. Device:2, Binary:1"
On Odin it seems to fail right after "NAND Write Start!!"
Odin success on each version NB4,NE6 and OB6
Everything goes through smoothly, but it gets stuck on "rebooting to recovery" and never actually gets to recovery
I've flashed twrp, stock recovery img, chainfire, phils, none will actually boot
got this device from a person who said they tried to flash a custom rom and got it into this boot
all I can think of is to repartition the device, but cannot find a pit file that works
odin mode says write protection: enabled
if that is of importance
also tried the unbrick images on sd card, no luck
is there a way to make a bootable recovery.img sdcard? like how nooks can
made a pit from a working note 3 tmo, repartitioned, no go
What you are saying is that you odin successful, and it will not go into recovery, even if you force it to? After the rom image flash, are you in download mode and trying to flash a working recovery?

yes odin completely finishes, I tried forcing into recovery mode
loaded twrp, philz recovery, cwm, older versions of recovery, the current version etc.
no longer have the phone but still wonder why it was a no go
Ok so if you've ever flashed a firmware through odin or flashed a system, etc.. and got this message when you try to boot your phone. Theres a way to fix it.. Usually when this happens you can only boot into download mode and the custom recovery doesn't work. Theres a trick I use whenever I encounter it I boot to download mode and turn on odin then in odin turn off auto reboot in the settings. Next flash a custom recovery then pull the battery out after it flashes. Wait a little bit put the battery back in then press volume up, home, and power at the same time and it will boot you into recovery. Once in recovery you can flash another custom rom or stock rom or restore a backup.
Currently on ZVD.
On booting throws a "Security Error" and bootloops.
Download mode is not working
Stock Recovery mode is functional. I tried installing OTA zips from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-g2/general/ls980-zve-ota-zip-update-zvc-zve-t2912488
Both of them error out (one says there's a version mismatch and another breaks complaining about an issue with AAT.apk).
I tried sideloading twrp, cm, Blisspop and other zips. They all fail.
Since I can't boot, get in to download mode and only have recovery mode, is there a way to resurrect my device?
I flashed TWRP then switched to CWM to try HYPER-ROM 11, then lineage-16, but they both ended up causing a boot loop,
so I decided to go back to stock,
but when I enter recovery mode it says: "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
And when I try to flash stock recovery with Odin 3.13 it gets stuck at recovery.img,
and when I try to flash stock ROM it gets stuck at system.img!
Your time and help are highly appreciated!
you need to enter download mode...not recovery mode
then use odin to flash stock rom
