with that being said let's cut to the chase
long story short i got a G4 H815p from South Africa about 3 days ago , it was running on lollipop and i decided to update it to Marshmallow , after reading few thread here on XDA i decided to flash a H815 KDZ seeing people in said thread said it was fine to do so ( and there was/isn't any Marshmallow kdz from South Africa ). I used LGUP and updated to marshmallow and once the device booted and was greeted with the error message Error current version is not available for user can't find matched cust for NT code .
At this point i must admit i was a little bit annoyed and i tried to find a way to get rid of that error message and unfortunately it looked like rooting ( which is not possible on the H815p cos of the lock bootloader) the device and deleting/editing the cust.prop file or finding a kdz that matched my regions were the only way out of my predicament. At that point i remembered facing the same issue some times back when i was using a G2 so with the help of XDA and Google i came up with a fix e for my Device but this Should also work on other H815p
Before you proceed you check out this thread . it has info about LG G3 NT CODE and seems the G3 Code are about the same as the G4 ones
THE NT CODE YOU ARE GOING TO APPLY MUST MATCH YOUR KDZ REGION !!!!

step one
Know which region your Marshmallow kdz that you flashed is from ( in my case it is the Europe H81520C_00_1218.kdz , got it from http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G4/H815/Marshmallow+6.0/
step two
Enter LG G4 hidden menu using the correct code for your device . My device the code on marshmallow is *#546368#*815#*, i believe it is the same for all H815P got it from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64142393&postcount=79
step 3
Apply code
enter hidden menu
navigate to SVC menu
Navigate to Version info
Navigate to NT Code , Make a backup of your current code and save it on your sd card just in case ( a screen shot will suffice ) and apply the code from you region , close then reboot your device and voila
Pictures s attached to the post to illustrate what was my NT Code before the fix and what it is after now after the fixI tested the phone for 24 hours after applying the fix and everything work as it should , no network issues , calls, sms ,mms. wifi , bluetooth,Gps all work as they should

thanks i'm gonna use this one day. i reverted to LP after that annoying message and no root on MM. safe to say i will not buy a LG phone again as this locked bootloader crap has got me annoyed too.

which device and firmware have you tried this on? i did this on my South African G4 H815P with the 20C European KDZ and till now i haven't encountered any issue ( i even went from the 20c kdz to the 20d kdz using LGUP and didn't have to do the whole process again)

rooted G4 H815P ??? you don't need this process if you're rooted.. go to root folder , delete cust folder, reboot devices.

I did it also..just delete the cust folder. But if you choose like Genisys Rom you dont have that problem..
Many thanks. This method works for me. I've changed nt code from Poland P4 network provider to open Europe. Flashed V20D Firmware and everything works flawlessly .

Im quite new at this. But have flush a few phones in my time. 1st time to do a LG. I got a LG G4 H815tr. Want to change it to H815p. Reason is that most apps is in Turkey language. May i ask for afvise on this and how to change it. Many thanks guys

there's no way of "changing your H815tr into a H815p

there's no way of "changing your H815tr into a H815p, what you can do it manually flash an unbranded H815 on your device using like the newly released 20h uk firmware here http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/kdz-firmware-v20h-united-kingdom-2016-t3396480

h81510P_00 installed on it but when i upgrade it to MM
it shows the error even i can use my touch so i reset it and now i am stuck on the device setup after reset with the warning.

V29a Firmware NT Code:

"1","FFF,FFF,FFFFFFFF,FFFFFFFF,51"
Checked in both above firmwares..Worked flawlessly on my h818p...No more annoying message on every boot.
Software Version in about/ settings also changed to region exp. 20h-DS2-XX to 20h-ESA-XX upon reboot.

How you could did it?
When I try to change NTCODE in Service Menu, I always get "NTCODE WRITE ERROR" message. Is your bootloader unlocked?
Whats the firmware ver. you are trying this on..?

i bought (from ebay) an LG g4 h815t from hong kong. it come with android 5 pre-installed and everything works fine.
i decidet to update the phone to mm (via lg bridge) and now the signal is very very poor (alomost without coverage for all day)
Any idea?

Go back to LP since u cant flash modems via twrp since ur g4s bootloader is locked ..
Use lgup refurbish downlod the kdz the file search here on xda

Hi! I bought a H815 version, foe a steal btw, "130$" Thinking that I could unlock the bootloader, but then doing more research only finding that the only way doing so is if I have a EU version.
So anyone know anyway I could trade or buy a EU or UK version for cheap so I could trade or it doesn't anyone know the status of the USA H815 bootloader status?
Also wtff why isn't the H815 version upgraded to marshmallow? This stock ROM is majorly broken .
tmobile one can be bootloader unlocked. h811.
I just did the same thing, got a h815 USA with locked bootloader.
Using LGUP I was able to flash version 20d MM and it is working fine.

Note that in the LGUP application, you need to click Update to select a .kdz file. You then need to exit and restart the program, then click refurbish to do a clean flash.
long time lurker here.I bought a g4 second hand.it was advertised as h815 unlocked.the imei checked out online and all stickers said 815 as well.but in hardware info it showed h815T(HK variant).thankfully i knew how to flash firmwares so i downloaded a KDZ and flashed it with lg ft 2014.for some reason (i dont remember why) i flashed 2-3 times with other kdzs and ended up in the current state.the phone now shows H818(dual sim variant) in hardware info and doesnt
detect my sim card(same sim works fine in my G2).I never downloaded the h818 kdz.

i think is was misinterpreted. its a h815 but a h815t indeed and unlocked mean carrier as you know theres no way to unlock bootloader.. you need to flash the h815T KDZ. i hope that you didnt mess your imei.
inject only works in LP not on MM. also youll need to find out if you can downgrade to lollipop. as this phone have antirollback wich means once you are on a version you cannot go nack or youll hard brick phone.

thank you for the response.im on lollipop right now since ft 2014 doesnt flash MM and lgup and ft 2.0.1.6 stop flashing after checking phone info(they stop flashing as phone shows h818 but kdz is for h815).I flashed h815T kdz multiple times(twice just today)but phone still shows h818 in lgup and in settings.the phone cant be h818 as it only has 1 sim slot.
imei is ok right now.SIM issue happened to be a ****ty sim cut job by the customer service guy.only remaining issue is the wrong version showing up in phone settings. cant flash MM due to that.
also,is there anything good about upgrading to MM???

Actually MM isnt an upgrade. Lollipop is best(maybe nougat will be worth anything). I think you should flash uk v20g kdz with lg up(or LG firware flash 2014). I suggest using LG UP also you can give TOT method a try

cant flash tot as lgup and ft 2.0.1.6 check phone version....

Do they check in build.prop? If so just change build.prop value and you're good to go. I think that there is also possibility to fake your software version and then flash anything you want

hello everyone ,
i got LG G4 H815L
now i was on Android 6.0 a long time and i see that i able to upgrade to android 7.0 with LG UP and TOT file for my model
so i did this .. and the android 7 boot up and everything was fine but all my things and the carrier bootup logo stay ..
so i think that i should take the TOT file again and press refurbish and not Upgrade button
here is the problem .. i am stupid
so the flash failed on LG UP and the phone get stuck on Firmware update
and .. i cant do anything else ... i try to flash a lot of versions of android 6 that fit to my model H815L
but they stuck in LG UP on 24% and after that i get Error message 0x2000
i try to search about 4 hours how i solve the error ...
i replace 8994 dll's
try to install LG drivers again
and lg up again from another source
and really everything
so i give up ... i need a help ..
in the LG up software i see in version H81529A
maybe my phone think that he another model ?
but the TOT file that i download of android 7 is optimized for H815L only ..

LG UP let me Flash H815 V20P
on my H815L
but i didnt have my language on my phone...
what did i do.. i didnt want to flash again KDZ file on LG up and make my phone brick again ...
why i cant flash H815L ?
i add the language that i need with moreLocale2
but every reboot the language deleted ..and its annoying
i want to flash H815L
from my country but its not possable
all the KDZ files didnt reach 100% in LG UP
and brick my phone .
Help someone ?
