It's not either use the Samsung firmware down loader posted here or download from SamMobile.
Use this download manager to download at full speed from sammobile.

You don't copy and paste. Just click the link like you normally would, it automatically pops up the download box, ensure that check box is ticked to enter user name and password. Enter details then OK.
It works every time I assure you.
I did all if that... Still access denied. Invalid user name and password.

1. When tapping on the download button in sammobile, FDM doesn't automatically open. But when I open it manually and click the + sign the link will be added.
2. Entering username and password(sammobile's) or not still doesn't allow the download to happen.
3. I'm on Windows 10 and the latest version of FDM.
Really appreciate any help as this is driving me nuts. Thanks

OK here are the steps that work for me to download your firmware on windows 8.1.
1. make sure FDM is running, you wil see the blue arrow bottom right corner.
2. Find the firmware you need then click REGULAR DOWNLOAD
3. Next click DOWNLOAD, at this point the windows save box pops up, select SAVE AS. Confirm and the FDM download box will appear.
4. Make sure that the Username and Password box is ticked.
Enter CORRECT username and password, choose where you want the download. Click OK
5. When you see the box asking if you want to view the ZIP click cancel.
6. The download should now start
NOTE: normally step 3 isn't required, so maybe the file is on a different server, but this is what worked for me. If you still cant download with FDM then if you click cancel when the FDM download box appears you will be able to download with regular windows download manager.
Also it seems this server doesn't seem to allow multipart downloads so maybe a bit slower.

Hi,
After changing roms and then using the Samsung Account to restore the Notes, first I had a Force Close when opening the app and then after syncing, I can see the notes but when I open them the error "Error occurred" appears. The force closed was solved reflashing through ODIN.
I am with a pre-rooted DLL4 Stock Rom.
I tried:
1) Clear the app data and cache
2) Rebooting
3) Fixing permissions
4) Reflash stock via Odin
5) Remove samsung account and add it again, wait for syncing before opening the app
6) Changed Kernell
I have one important note I need to open, but there is no way to open it from the web... it seems I need to open it from the phone.
Thanks for the help,

Same problem here. Hope a solution will come up soon.
'Solved: S Note Error Occurred'
I was able to solve the 'S Note error occurred' which prevented me from opening any of the sample files and many other templates by:
1) deleting all my non-working template snb files in /sdcard0/S Note
2) Copy and paste new template snb files from post 3092 here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609252&page=310
3) You can also pull snb files from SNote apk by changing 'apk' to 'zip' then open the zip ( files located in 'Asset'). You change 'zip' back to 'apk'.
4) I rebooted the phone for good measure (maybe not needed)
5) SNote now works perfectly
please HELP
i have the same issue and above 180 pages of studies summary is corrupted.. i have download the file to my pc and change to zip.. when i change to zip i can see the images and my notes in xml sheet. can anyone help me to fix this .. i want to get the file in any format just i want it to work. please
I SOLVED
Here is the solution:
1. Download app called RAR from the Play Store
2. Open .snb file from it (explorer of the RAR)
3. Choose "Repair archive" from the option. It will build "rebuilt......snb" file. You can open it again from S-Note as well as from "my files".
It worked for me.

It created a 'repaired' version of the note but even that still displays the "error occured" when I try to open.

Hey guys, after alot of heartache over this stupid problem, I found a fix.
Wi-Fi didn't work with Jelly Bean updates .200 and .211 in Syria and Iran no matter what.
Now with Root Explorer, and the attached file u can forget about that forever.
Instructions:
1. Extract this file to the SD card.
http://www.4shared.com/file/gANo_9ON/wpa_supplicant.html
2. Go to system/bin copy the file wpa_supplicant to the SD card "backup"
3. Now copy the attached file to the same folder and fix permissions.
4. Reboot and have fun.
Note that Wi-Fi should be turned off during the whole process.
Credit to my friend Raed.
And pray that I pass my pathology exams.
Regards.

Tell it "YES!"
Things work smooth most of the time. But sometimes it freezes so u have to turn it of and on again.
Still better that to work in airplane mode.
Hope this will be fixed in the new build.

Hi everybody, i'd like to know why we can't find any beta firmwares in flashable style ? the beta android 11 is coming out in uk and korea for n975f and n976 so how can we leak the firmware without using samsung members for all users ? thanks
Yeah I'm wondering why no one from the UK for example was able to get us the flashable zip file or even a link to the OTA server for us to download the firmware ourselves.
I am also interested.
New firmware is N975FXXU6ETK4 for N975F... nobody post flashable firmware to download?
We need someone from the UK to capture the download
How to capture
HTTP Canary app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...shi.httpcanary
1. Load canary
2. Start the update download but don't pause it.
3. Go back to canary and start that and it will grab the link.
Nice one didn't know how to do that, unfortunately i'm not from uk. And i think even changing CSC and using vpn won't work ?

This is the main thread for the S3, especially pertaining to downloads. I had my heart set on EXODUS but I had to settled for MOKEE. I've been meaning to make a firmware.xml and a Heimdall firmware package for my S3, I'll drop the links when I do.

By the way, just out of curiosity, why didn't you choose EXODUS? I use it and it's very smooth for me.

Thanks for the steps keeping this alive! I haven't used it in awhile - brought it out for Dad to use with wifi only.
Had an issue installing SuperSU - kept getting Verification errors after a couple tries and fix was to Disable Reboot option in Odin when installing TWRP.
After trying different lineage-14 ROMS (including one in the above links) the keyboard doesn't work: "Android Keyboard (AOSP) has stopped" Never lets me type anything. Just trying to connect to wifi. Like this ROM since gapps is already installed. Any ides about the keyboard? Or a better, newer ROM?
thank you XDA!

You know I can't remember exactly what the problem was. I THINK I couldn't get the wifi to work. Oh I remember I couldn't get past the Google sign in and turn on the wifi. I wish it worked

Right back at ya brother!
because that is a bedazz OS! Admittedly the only OS that worked on my S3 was Liquid Smooth, Mokee. And also that other one that has taken over BUT I couldn't get that Rom rooted after installation so it had go.
