Has anyone installed Android 5.0 yet on their phones?
It looks like it kills the Android Wear music control. Or is it just me?
Pretty sure that the 5.0 upgrade that's available is simply the latest preview, and not the finalized build. Even so, it may expect Wear 2.0, which is supposed to ship along with Lollipop, so things might not work perfectly just yet.
I wouldn't worry about stuff like this until at least the official lollipop launch.
Yeah. I might go back to 4.4.4 for now. It sure is pretty though...
I'd almost suspected this was on purpose actually. My LG G3 connected to the Moto 360 and any BT headset has horribly skipping audio every time it switched to a track with album art. I reactivated my Nexus 5 (with 5.0 on it for kicks) to see if it was just the phone, but no notification now.
Personally, I'm actually liking the 5.0 preview far more than the (Sprint) G3 stock software.
I have the same issue + the remote shutter for the camera is also missing. I guess we have to wait for the final Lolipop.

Yes, I confirm it works now!
I am using Nexus 5 with the latest developer preview. I realised that the Play music controls doesn't appear as well. But the funny thing is, if I paused the song the control will come back. But it seems like the controls are the old controls, not the one with the volume up down. My Moto 360 is on the least AW build as well.
Oh and I too can confirm that the Remote Camera shutter is back with the new Camera app.
Thanks.
Same for LG G Watch

I am using an LG G Watch with the Lollipop build on a Nexus 5 and I am experiencing the same exact thing. This means it's not an issue with the Moto 360 or maybe not even Lollipop but it is a lack of support from the current Android Wear app. Hopefully they release AW2.0 soon, like tomorrow since it's launch day for the Nexus 9!
Hey guys, I don't know if things are better for you guys on Lollipop as far as music control is concerned, but my app Wear Music Controller could help. Check it out here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.barkside.music
Latest Android wear app fixes the Google Music Play controls. Still using developer preview though, have not flashed the Nexus 5 lollipop Factory Image but I think it should be the same.
I have flashed the stock 5.0 image on my Nexus 5 and everything is fine after AW app update!
sadly I have this issue, I have a Custom Rom - Pacman with the latest android wear and even though the controls appear it wont work.
I just recently bought an smartwatch with android wear, and so far the cameras apps compatible with the HTC M9 and smartwatch are not the best.
it will be nice if there is an app that we can use with the stock camera and use the watch to click the pic.
Anyhow just wandering what app do you use for camera in your smartwatch?
Hey guys! I'm going to get my new car soon, the sound system is mirrorlink enabled, is there a way to enable mirrorlink in our Moto Z Play? Maybe by root?

I would like very much to have some more information on this matter.
Did some searches but nothing came up, I guess nobody can enable Mirrolink on Motorolas...
there are some Lenovo phones (like Moto G, Moto Z Play, Moto Z) that are compatible with VW infotainment.
Hello, i'm fairly new to smart watches but i have a question.
I want to use the smart watch as a remote for my mobile phone camera ( huawei mate 20 x) but every remote app i find for the watch have an "own camera app".
is there anything where i can control the shutter of the actual internal huawei camera app?
Try Camera Remote (formerly Wrist Camera) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kemasdimas.wristcamera&hl=en it works perfect for me on Samsung smartphone and does not have its own Android camera. First 7 minutes trial.
Not sure if you picked one already, but after I've tryed both Wrist Camera and Camera One I've decided to go with camera one since it has more options and was even a bit cheaper. It also comes with IIRC 1h free trial.
Just be advised to buy it from PLAY STORE (IAP) + Camera One Companion and not the Camera Gear Paid from Galaxy Store.
As the developer answered me by email, the Camera One has more options (!?!?).
