Restore Stock Samsung APPs on Galaxy Tab 10.1 4.4.2 - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I used Titanium backup to clean and remove bloatware from my mother tablet (GT-P5200)...
Model : GT-P5200
Android : 4.4.2
Bande : P5200XXUBNK1
Version : KOT49H.P5200XXUBNL1
Shame on me, I didn't make backup for some applications like : My Files and Gallery...
And of course, first reaction of my mother was : Oh finally, i prefer "Gallery" to "QuickPic", and I dislike VLC, I prefer "My Files" to access to my videos... Grrrr
I tried to make a backup with Titanium from a Tab 10.1, model GT-P5210, but don't work
I tried to find the two APK on Samsung Store, Internet... but nothing...
On a french forum, users tells me to mount the original stock ROM with an utilitary, and make a copy of the two APK, but actually, I don't find some APK called "Gallery.apk" or "MyFiles.apk" in "/app" tree.
So I make a try here
Somebody could make a Titanium backup with "Gallery" and "My Files" and send it to me ? Or a copy of the two missing APK...
Thanks

GDE

Hey everyone,
I have recently bought a Samsung galaxy GT i9000.I don't know how to install GDE in my device and where from I can download it?.Could anyone help me to resolve this?.There are numerous number of themes available in android market but without having installed GDE I can't make avail of those themes.
Thank you
PS:I am very new to this forum and I am a Medico not a computer professional.
Google "GDE apk".. download it. put the apk file into ur internal memory. go to market, search for apps installer.. install.. then go to settings, go to application, tick unknown sources. open the apps installer then find the apk file and install.
Dear flyguy729 ,
Thank you so much for your expedite guidance.

[Project] I need help please

Hello community,
i need some help from the developers.
I used a Samsung 3D LED TV and I want to use AllShare.
The problem is only Samsung Devices have it.
Now I extract the dlna.apk off a Samsung Galaxy S ROM, but I can't install it on my Desire.
What I have to do?
Someone can help me please?
Sorry for my bad english
maybe it´s a try to flash a non htc sense .....???!!!??
or make a update.zip (there is a thread for update.zip)
or download a rom put it in system app (flash->deactivate signed) or use autosigner to sign it and then flash
with kind regards...Alex
You also need the correct framework files
Code:
<uses-library android:name="touchwiz" />
is in the Manifest
How I do it?
I erase the text but I don't can install it
Edit:
I modified the framework-res.apk to push the files in the res folder and create an update.zip, but nothing change. Flashing the update.zip are success. Don't have a link to AppShare in my menu
if you are just looking to dlna from the desire to a samsung tv, TwonkyServer does that. Its on the market and does the trick. (I have a samsung LED TV)
I want use the message and call function from the tv
AllShare connects your TV, mobile phones and other
devices which are compatible through a network. On your
TV, you can view call arrivals, SMS messages and schedules
set on your mobile phones. In addition, you can play media
contents including videos, photos and music saved on your
mobile phones or the other devices (such as your PC) by
controlling them on the TV via the network. Additionally, you
can use your TV as a monitor for your mobile when browsing
a web page.

I don't want to sound harsh, but it's not really a project when all you did was download a Galaxy S ROM and extract an apk out of it.
You'll need to port the TouchWiz UI (or at least the relevant parts) to the Desire.
At this point, not even the HTC Camera has been ported to custom stock ROMs so I doubt it will be easy, if not impossible at this point.

HELP PLS

Hello,
I need help.
Now I'm using 'S8500XXKK7.'
I'm trying to edit this firmware & I almost done it. Now, I want to add Facebook & Twitter (not in java) on the main menu screen. Anyone can give me these files to me & tell me how to add these files in firmware (CSC or FFS or ShpApp). I downloaded LEDFlashlite from the Samsung Apps. My default storage location is Memory Card & I see the installed files. But, I don't know how to add this files in firmware.
And I need to change the keyboard language to English (in system file, not in phone).
You can read that Facebook & Twitter apps for bada 2.0 are available for download for Wave I/II/III
The Link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1407806
So you can get them on S8500XXKK7 from Samsung Apps
Best Regards

[GUIDE] Streamlining the EmotionUI

Hi there!
Only just recently owning the P6, one of the first things I do is streamlining the rom. Even though EmotionUI is nice, its packed with stuff I (and you most probably too) don't use.
HOW TO REMOVE SYSTEM APPS:
Step 1) Get your P6 rooted
Step 2) Get an app thats able to remove or freeze (disabling) system apps, like this
Step 3) Remove any unwanted apps. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OF ONE APPS' PURPOSE, GOOGLE IT, OR LEAVE IT ALONE.
BARE MINIMUM LIST:
I've been testing the removal of apps, and made a list of the one's you should keep at a bare minimum (or the apps cannot be removed).
AndroidHWEXT (Got something to do with the text that's shown in Android)
APNreminder (used for showing Acces Point Names)
Backup (speaks for itself, for making/restoring backups)
Bluetooth.apk (I hardly use this, but removing it causes crashes)
Camera.apk (Somehow I cannot remove this)
CertInstaller.apk (Needed for installing apps)
CMParts.apk (Needed after resetting the phone)
Contacts.apk (Needed for storing contacts)
ContactsProvider.apk (Practically the same as above)
DefaultContainerService.apk (Basic system stuff)
DrmProvider.apk (Secures the stuff on your phone)
HuaweiHome (homescreen, do not remove when no replacement is installed, like Nova Launcher)
MediaProvider.apk (Needed for providing images, music etc. but also ringtones, system sounds and the alarmclock)
Mms.apk (System SMS MMS Program)
PackageInstaller.apk (Installs your apps)
Phone.apk (System phone app)
Profiles (needed for vibration)
Settings.apk (for getting into settings)
SimToolKit (all sorts of SIM-related info is read and stored via this)
SUPL20Services (???? anyone?)
SystemUI (speaks for itself)
ToolBox (basic tools?)
Wifi(hotspot) (needed for wifi)
<to be updated>
NOT RECOMMENDED
I recommend not to remove these apps for the purpose they serve. Removing them will most probably not make your phone unusable.
DoblySound.apk (Used by the Music app)
AGPS.apk (used for improving GPS)
<to be updated>
GENERAL LIST OF APPS AND THEIR PURPOSE:
<to be updated>
REMEMBER! I am in NO WAY responsible for what YOU are doing to YOUR device. Use common sense. I'm just trying to help making the P6 an even nicer device to use!
Suggestions, questions, corrections, experiences, please share them!
Cheers
If you bought your phone from your carrier and it comes with a lot of carrier apps, plus if you don't want to see them again when you do a factory restore, you can delete them using file managers like the root explorer by delete everything in the /cust/(your carrier name)/en(or your language)/delapps/ folder.
I have a China Mobile version of Huawei P6 (P6-T00) and this worked for me, but I am not responsible for any damage that happens to your phone.
