So now I am facing the choice between buying an official lg g4 h815p with its official warranty and free screen replacement policy or a grey market h815 eur.
I wanted a 815 int europe to get twrp, but I see that the only custom rom and system backups we have for g4 are .img files, so twrp has no real advantage now over "soft" root of the g4?
The grey market unit has a 1 year warranty but it's simply not the official one, dunno what would happen in case of touchscreen problem for exemple.
The official h815p unit is a 10 days used one.

So I've got my G3 D855 16Gb about 3 weeks ago and I noticed just one upadate and a little to nothing app upgrades (keyboard,camera,etc...).

I found the Polish version of LG G4 marshmallow and I was wondering if it's possible to flash my LG g4. It's listed under the same category as mine, the only difference is, mine is Europe general, and the Polish version just says Polish. I want to know if it'll end up in a bad flash basically. Hi guys i had LG g4 h818p which was dead after bootloop issue
So i have ordered new Motherboard from aliexpress
Now
The issue is this new motherboard is from chinese LG G4 Variant
Which i think doesn't come with Google services and apps
I tried installing manually but play store isn't seem to be working after all hard work
So guys please help to get google services and apps without harming the device

I had flashed (accidently) chineese firmware on one h818p, then flashed another one via LGUP and everything went great, so you shouldn't have any problems

If it's the same model, you should be fine after flashing European rom, nobody will give you a guarantee on bootloop issue and there is a high chance that it might be a refurbished or repaired board.
Well, from Aliexpress site it states that it's only H818 model, nothing else.
I have dead/bootlooped H818N from Hong Kong which worked well in EU countries.
i have my LG G4 H815 bought it from China (refurbished) running Adroid 6 MM,it used to work just fine till i upgraded it to MM from LP, now i don't get any signal from any carrer here in Tanzania East Africa, i have read so many threads with no solution, i wanted to unlock the bootloader it doesn't work since lg says my device doesn't support it, i was curious may be i can find a way to make my device work again or any way to install a custom rom or root it may be i can edit a build prop.
Current Software Version is- V20-OPT2-HQ

Hello guys, I bought a LG G4. The seller today said that they have sent a H818P Dual SIM version. I already have an G4 H815 European Version and I wanted exactly the same one to easily unlock bootloader, root new ROM flash etc. after warranty period.
Should I send it back or should I accept it? What do you suggest to me? Will it be easy to find custom ROMs for H818P in the future (2 years later).
Also, is there any significant differences between them especially for my country Turkey? I have read some posts about rooting H818P with H815 ROMs. Are they easy to cope with? Or is it better to send it back.
