Hey guys. Possible is porting android wear for example from smartwatch 3 to smartwatch 2?? Couse smartwatch 2 have android wear based firmware not real android wear. I try looking inside in smartwatch 2 and 3 software and both have something different. So if android wear based and android wear is both the same so why is different hex codes?? Its very dificulty... But if this possible to port android wear maby together try??
Its a great project hope we can all give something of it

I usually don´t comment on questions like this and I usually don´t advise people to use the search function or read up on a 1000+ page thread. But in this case, as all the information really is easily available via search, google or just reading a couple of posts, I find your question rather annoying.
AW2 is not and will not be officially available for smart watch 3. If at all, there may be a ported version. But the thread for this has been going for months with no clear results so far.
Currently you´re stuck with AW1.5.

What the Sony website actually says is

I doubt a decent version will be ported and I've not seen of any development news but feel free to correct me.
I've given up on the Sony watch now due to poor support. I'm waiting for the LG sport watch

I know this question looks like a no-brainer one as Android Wear 2.0 = Stock Android. Currently I am using a 1st gen Huawei Watch which as you all probably already know, runs Android Wear 2.0 and thinking about upgarding to Samsung Gear S3 Frontier which runs Tizen. Anyone here can enlighten me/us which of the two - Android Wear or Tizen has the overall great experience with our Pixel? Like the Pros and Cons of both? And yeah as of now I am running Android 8.1 preview 1.
My main concerns are compatibility, notifications, watch vibrations or sound, functionalities, battery life. Not the looks or number of third party apps that can be installed. Thanks in advance!
I want a smartwatch that can do all the smartwatch things, that isn't slow as tar or have a touchscreen from 2008, and I can load apps onto.
Is the Galaxy Active2 the best watch for this? I know there is a Golf Edition, but can you load the Golf Edition firmware onto a regular Active2 watch?
Also, are you able to sideload other apps onto the Galaxy watches? Thank you in advance. I've used (and often customized/flashed/sideloaded) android, apple, msft, and linux phones, but have no idea about the smart watch.
