I have been using IronRom pretty much since I got my tablet and I am interested to try out some others. Especially ones that aren't using TouchWiz. Holy Cow my brain got overloaded. There are just so many choices to consider. I have been reading about the PacMan roms and other CM based ones but they are all seeming to be pretty damn similar. Can anyone help with thinning out the pack?
BLISSPOP AICP OR SLIMLP those are the best out of mine AICP ypu have to download from AICP website
It's kinda' like asking, "who is your favorite child?!"
But, my favorite "child" is AICP, and I've tried *many* others.

I;ve searched far and wide and I don't think there is any Omni for the S3. Quantum Rom is really amazing though!
I'm no developer and really have no idea if Remix is closed source or not. I read that Remix OS is now available for some Nexus devices, but this ROM would make the Note 10.1 2014 so far and above anything TouchWiz could deliver.
The Remix OS 2.0 sneak peaks looks pretty damn cool https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=86&v=WLWJcnE7ywc , and with an active digitizer, would be even better.
Is it possible to port the ROM?
+1
For me the only aosp based rom i would like to have on my note , hope someone can port it
+1 For me as well. I would love to use this.
Looks like we wont get either remix os or lollipop TW from samsung
I would absolutely love to see a port of this, if not just the status bar and start menu type deal. A bottom status bar would be amazing on this tablet
That would be the greatest upgrade! perfect for a student! hope someone will do this!
Hello guys
I have used CM12.1 , IronRom for my tablet.
I don't know why, but CM 12.1 mad my tablet very hot. (I never had that problem before)
IronRom is pretty nice, but I need the feature that CM 12.1 had (in notification bar, you can change what Wifi router that you are connected) becuase I have 3 routers in my house, and I constantly have to connect to the nearest router.
I really don't need split-screen multitasking nor touchwiz.
What custom rom should I flash for daily use ?
(yeah my English is terrible I live in South Korea)

First of all, your English is just fine..better than a lot of native English speakers[emoji6]
Secondly, I used to live near Kunsan AB on the Yellow Sea [emoji2] 1991 or so.
Finally, check out AICP ROM. I'm very happy with it...don't know about the Wi-Fi thing though.

Thanks! I will try that ROM
And I like that you lived in Kunsan
Try CM again. But this time underclocked the CPU. Better battery and not so hot!
Hello, as the title says there's some way to install Remix OS on this product? I would love to use my old tablet with this OS cause I really need a portable android/pc for university and I would like to save some money instead of buying a new one just for that!
Ty so much guys and I love your work, it's amazing! :good:
EDIT: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (gt-p5200) LOL wrong
I just got a used Note 4 from Note 2 (running CM12). I really do not like Samsung's stock ROMs. What is a good stable ROM? Is Lineage any good? EmotionOS? Debloat version of stock? suggestions?

I've been on Emotroid 6.0.1 for the past year with very few hiccups but I started looking for a new rom tonight as well.
EmotionOS is pretty much dead. Forums reveal the OP is retired from the N4 but work pseudo continues on through the Verizon wireless build.. Sounds sketchy to me as the sprint variant is no longer supported.
Lineage appears to be the rom Emotroid is built on, that said expect fewer customization's. It's brand new, but the activity on the forum looks promising so it's won my vote and I've got it flashing now.
Lineage is developed by the same guy/team who did CM.
