Hi
I have a BBC video which is stuck on the smartwatch, when I swipe it away it reappears.
Is there anything that can be done to clear out this video without a factory reset.

My video recording often fails - it seems like the applications hangs. It is not always this happens, and I have so far failed to figure out why it sometimes work and other times doesn't.
When it fails, I see the problem occur when I stop the recording. The red recording button turns back into the video camera icon, but the gallery and filter icon does not re-appear. It does not have any effect to press any of the remaining icons on the screen. It seems like the application hangs or is frozen. The camera/background does change/move like it still works.
An .mp4 file is generated but it can not be played from the phone or PC.
I have tried to delete all .jpg, .mpX files. Tried factory reset 3 times, but the problem keeps coming back.
Any ideas / suggestions on what I can try to solve this?

Hi,
I have modded my Ouya with Cyanogenmod and also use Gapps. I use the controller and also have a keyboard with touch pad attached. Via Playstore I installed Netflix and Spotify.
Netflix is running OK. But I never see a progress bar. When I start a Video it goes full screens without any controls visible. It's different on my tablet. Any Idea to get the progress bar? Currently seeking a certain position is impossible.
Spotify is also installed via play store. If I start it it seems to go in portray mode and plays a video. I cannot really stop it except stopping the whole app. If I close the app I briefly see a screen with the login button but it's only visible for 0.2s so I can't do anything.
Any ideas?

Disable hardware overlays in Settings->Developer Options to see controls on Netflix
I noticed the same thing with Spotify. I think I used a keyboard and some combination of tab and enter until it brought up the login screen. Once you've logged in and the app has your credentials, you won't be stuck on that unnecessary intro screen the next time you start.

unfortunately I still don't get any controls for netflix. So So I neither can move to a certain position nor can I switch audio language.
Spotify is working fine.
This problem is most noticeable when watching YouTube, and I haven't toyed with too many other video apps to determine if it also happens, but while watching videos, the video will randomly pause.
Doesn't matter what brightness the phone is at, the phone isn't too warm when it happens, doesn't matter if I have headphones plugged in or not, etc. And it's not like an accidental screen touch, because touching the screen once shouldn't pause the video, just show the controls.
I've tried a full factory reset of my phone and it's still occurring. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting? It's incredibly annoying...
Edit: I should clarify this isn't pausing while buffering - this is acting like someone pressed pause mid-video - on screen controls appear, home button appears, status bar appears, and the "Play" icon to press and continue playing the video.
I have the exact same problem.
Did you manage to resolv it?
I have LG H815 SEA and i'm on stock ROM, because i can't root or install custom ROM
The same thing happens to me. I've figured it out why it happens - and it happens in all full screen apps - bottom home touch screen buttons appear together with top notifications bar for just a split second - if you look you'll see it. That causes youtube app to pause the video, and behaviours are different in other apps. It is really annoying and I haven't found a fix yet.
Same issue here with a brand new LG v20, even happens after I take the case off. No idea what could be the issue. And same with the video being fully loaded, and being on o off Wi-Fi doesn't help . Please someone give us an answer!!!!

I had this problem with a galaxy S4. Try going to Settings -> Apps -> Three dots button on top right -> Show System -> Scroll down to media storage -> Storage -> Then Clear Data.
This seemed to fix it for a while. If there is a single app your particularly have the issue with, try reinstalling that app.
When I play a video, it starts off as a black screen and won't wake up until I touch it. Then after a while, when the bar with the pause, fast forward, rewind etc buttons disappears, the screen goes black again. I can still hear the audio playing. This only happens with videos I have filmed on the device (either saved off snapchat or the in built camera app) and still occurs on other video playing apps. Is there any way to fix this?
I have this problem too. check the box next to "Disable HW Overlay" under developer options.
After a week or so it unchecks it again for some reason, and I go back and check that box. It's a temporary fix, hopefully there's a way to stop this behavior.
I have the same problem, please help T.T
Hi all, is anyone else getting the following issues with the phone?
Video playback will randomly freeze but audio continues (happens on Netflix, YouTube and tiktok?)
Some navigation software does not render correctly, it's like the graphics will keep changing colours and flash between colours - see attached video
No auto switching between wifi and data. I have to toggle data to enable it after straying away from WiFi
Random resets like when the phone is charging it'll reset itself. I've checked the runtime and it'll still show as if its not rebooted. Or the phone will reset randomly whilst on a telephone call
Not having the issues you related but I'm having issues with the dialer.
If I'm watching Netflix via phone and someone calls me I can hear ringtone but I get no option to answer phone.....the notification or answer screen doesn't show.
I have to wait for phone to stop ringing the call them back.
Have tried different dialers from play store but they all suffer same problem.
The other issue I have is using Nova as home screen replacement at regular periods I can't access the recents....I can see them but won't allow to tap or scroll.
