I believe that's actually the 20150430 zip you're looking for. However, I'm using the latest -v5-Krait along with rovo89's Xposed installer 3.0_alpha 4.

If you're on TW Lollipop, Xposed only works with Android 5.0.1 deodexed ATM. KitKat; no problem with Odex or deodexed ROM and no need for the arter97 zip you seek.

I posted a topic some weeks earlier, but it derailed fast and then died out.
Anyway, is there a way to add the CRT effect using some .zip that is flashable through root explorer or CWM? Is there a way without Xposed?

I like my OS to be as minimal as possible... Installing some Xposed app for that CRT effect isn't what I would like.
Anyway, please stop derailing!

AFAIK, there is no other method to get crt effect on stock 4.3 for xperia m. There might be some 4.3 roms that have that effect, but you will have to check that out yourself. Or you can wait until someone makes a mod for it.

Hm :\
Well, just curious: how do you install Xposed with GravityBox? Preferably link me to a thread, because I don't see any thread on these forums related to Xposed.

It's pretty simple, you download and install xposed installer and then, using that app, you install framework to your phone. Reboot, and then you download gravitybox for jb from xposed installer(it has sort of download centre that allows you to easily find and download modules), install it, activate module in xposed installer and reboot your phone. Then you can modifxy whatever you want with that gravitybox app, most things dont require reboot to apply changes, but some of them do. FYI, you can also try xblast tools module if you don't like gravitybox for changing screen off effect.

Don't be scared with warnings that gravitybox needs aosp roms to work, it works fine on stock xperia rom.
I am not responsible for what you do with your own device...if you come after me, remember, I'm from Detroit
This MOD is intended for users who are STOCK (or close to stock), ROOTED on NC2 4.4.2 kitkat.
I created this for deodex ROM users...but according to @Grompy 'FYI, for those on odex roms you can flash this. You just have to rename the systemui.odex and secsettings.odex files in /system/priv-apps/ to .bAK then flash this file and it'll work great'
It includes a modded SystemUI and SecSettings...so if you are using a ROM that is themed it may look funny. You are more than welcome to use this MOD if you would like to apply your own theme...just remember that this MOD uses busybox and an included binary to add the toggle to notification_panel_active_app_list. So you will need to keep the files that are included in my zip.

I flashed on stock odex rom and it didn't add the toggle. Does this require a deodex rom?

FYI, for those on odex roms you can flash this. You just have to rename the systemui.odex and secsettings.odex files in /system/priv-apps/ to .bAK then flash this file and it'll work great. Except I flash the script twice and I now have two flashlights in my toggles.
Edit:
And I was able to get rid of the 2nd flashlight toggle by editting the settings system dB.

My notifications came out weird when I did this. My torch toggle works, but all the toggles look weird. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

I used the xposed one. Works good. If you install xposed, make sure to search and find the lag fix.

Wanam. ?
There is a new stock ROM with everything fixed. It has the reboot menu without xposed.. You could flash the ROM or find what files you need and pull them from ROM.

so.. this is Odin flashable?
am up-date to N910PVPU1ANIE??
thanks again
There are directions in the thread.
I already did the mod in my stock deodexed rom. If you're on stock odexed rom it wont work for you. The smali code edits for this mod is slightly different but you will want to be on a deodexed rom in order to do it yourself.. My advice is to just flash my stock deodexed Hybrid ROM and wait for some flashable themes & mods to come out. I'm about to begin theming and I will release a themed/modded Hybrid Edition ROM when I get the most significant items themed/modded.

It would be nice if you could disable the Sync pop-up message as well when you turn it OFF/ON from the Notification.

I don't know, just try it and see. Backup before flash file.
I use an xposed module called xphoneplus to disable it. I'm using other xposed modules any way.

It's permanent already mate. It's a easy method. If you don't want to use this method you can edit file TeleService.apk. I've tried to edit TeleService.apk before but it's seem have problem with sim card. It didn't recognize carriers network.
I use module in Xposed

thanks, I just want to try it without using this overlay, but I've tried to use this overlay and it works well .
another xposed module to look into would be notify clean, works for all android notifications.
working on m4 aqua (e2306) 6.0.1
the zip is installing the overlay in /system/oem/overlay
that folder is not used in many roms, the real one is /system/vendor/overlay
that's why is not working in some models
thanks for sharing!!

Hey guys. I haven't messed with Xposed framework since there was an alpha for Tab S when we got 5.0.1. I've been using the same one since.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there is a version that I should be using that is compatible. Really the only reason I need this is so that I can change the dpi for several apps.
