Some source and a tar maybe?

Ok have the phone in hand. Very snappy. I really like the front of the phone and screen. Definitely hate the glass back. Feels like smooth hollow cheap plastic. Looks crappy too. The back looks like an unfinished prototype. Wont see or feel it after I get a case though.

Another little dislike it is very easy to completely muffle the single bottom firing speaker, a case might also help this. This phone needs a surround type mod like the note 4 has . Something I really do like the curved screen makes it very comfortable to scroll on the curved edge.
Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk
Ya the speaker thing happened from time to time with my s6. Just got my plus yesterday. Idk how i feel yet. Kinda having 2nd thoughts about the note . It is nice up front though
Sent from my SM-G928P using XDA Free mobile app
I had same thoughts but it always came back to I only had the spen out about ten times on my note 3 + 4 combined. The edges are growing on me even as just a novelty. Development might be a little bit slower here though .

Title pretty much explains it. I have a few minor scratches from putting the phone in and out of my pocket. I know people say use a screen cover but this phone is beautiful naked. I'll try and get a picture of what I'm dealing with.

Short of replacing the display I think you're stuck with those. The only two methods I know of for refinishing glass are not friendly to electronics. Takes a really strong acid or wet sanding.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen some products on the Internet for these kinds of things but wasn't sure if they really work. I'm usually pretty ocd about stuff like this but I knew it would eventually happen with out using a cover. So I guess I'll deal unless someone else has some advice.

I know it's not the answer you are looking for, but XO claims their screen protector covers/hides the scratches. I'm not a big fan of screen protectors either, but I couldn't deal with the scratches...

I know there are product for this kind of thing. Some fluids to apply or whatever it is but I have no idea if it works or not. Guess it doesn't hurt trying if it's not too expensive.
It works for me, for now. But I a better case with a kickstand.
EDIT. I've made improvements. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012049

I think it's ready for mass production.
Nice, plus is recyclable.

Haha, that's really handy! I'm sure it was a serious post but made me smile.

Yes it's a serious post and a fun one too . Plus it got to show off the drawing capabilities of the Note 2 since I couldn't get my friend to take a picture of my device and the makeshift dock while watching Dexter on it. I had to cover the screen a little bit while Dexter did his killing. The screen is so huge. I didn't want to freak out the folks at Starbucks with all of Dexter's gore.
I really like the idea, seems very inventive and a good use of available resources.

An engineering marvel sir.
OP , Apple more then likely has patent on your design so be careful stay away from mass production.
Is this the new Accesories forum? LMAO
I'm SO going to do this on my desk on Monday
Almost FREE too

That is a great and practical idea. THANK YOU OP!
I've made improvements and provided illustrated instructions on how to make your own (free) kickstand. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012049
Nice! Here's a design using two plastic cards and some tape.

Does anyone know how to separate the Silver plated part from the black part of the spen? The silver part is not aligned with the black part and it always get stuck in the phone and needs to be pulled out really hard. I tried with other spen on my phone and its fine so i know its because of it not being aligned.
Pics?

Well I'm sitting here looking at my spen and, ,it has the same size gap between the silver top piece and the base.
The only suggestion I can give you is call Samsung and ask them about it...I'm sure they would be pleased to send u a new one..not very expensive for them. Just my suggestion.

Just got my case through today and am very impressed. The quality is nice and the feel of the screen protector that is built in to the case I'd really nice. Smooth. I have dropped it from pocket height and ear height and it just laughed at it.
My review:
Feel: 5/5
Size: 4/5
Functions: 3/5
Weight: 3/5
Grip: 5/5
For me the case is perfect. It feels really smooth with loads of grip, has enough weight to know if it drops out of your pocket. It feels like a thick Galaxy Note II but fits into your hand perfectly. The buttons I find to be quite hard to push, but... it's a tough case so it's to be expected.
Over-All I would rate this case 8/10. Does the job, buttons could be easier to push, just a little easier, and the build in screen-protector is a really good idea and feels absolutely fantastic.
I would recommend this to people that don't want their phone to break if they drop it.
Got mine off Amazon for £28.99
Worth the money.

Planning on getting a nexus 5 in a few weeks and wanted to know if anyone had tried this case, and what you thought of it. Couldn't find a YouTube review even, but It looks nice.

I've been using it for a few days now and I'm still not sure if I'll keep it. It is a great case just a wee bit more bulky than anticipated. But I suppose I should have expected it to be since I recently jumped from an iPhone to a real phone.

Actually I have this case and love it very much , I add on the extra protection when going out and love that it also protects my camera lense .

How easy can you get the cover off the camera? I saw somewhere it was kind of difficult?

Quite easily its made of a rubber like material but offers good protection I believe.
