Hey member, wanna' flash CyanogenMod on the phone.
There is lot's(and lots) of info' here on this already, though can't find the links as yet..
If any member/s could leave the links need for CyanogenMod download, and all other links, looks like i need to flash google apps too..
Also, is the 2 sim function working now on the ROM? Ideally it would be good to be back on .41.2 rather than kit kat,.
Thanks for any help.

First you need to upgrade your rom to touchwiz 4.2.2 and then you can flash kitkat or any other custom rom because you can't flash custom rom on 4.1.2 bootloader ... So if your device is not rooted, go to settings and do a software update... Or you can alternatively flash firmware from sammobile... Hope it helps..

Its better u unroot ur phone and flash official 4.2.2 firmware from samobile and root it back...because most of all the custom ROM's use 4.2.2 has their base so u can hardly find and rom which supports 4.1.2 but S there r some but if u want install cm11 based or AOSP based ROM's u should definitely need to update it to latest Andriod 4.2.2....
Good info' again, will unroot, then flash stock 4.2.2, then flash custom rom CM 11.
Thanks for your info'. I hit thanks!
Has members please got the genuine links for the CM11 flash with dual sim , and goggle app thing (all links I need basically) It's hard to find valid info'.. Want to use dual sim though! Big thanks in advance

Good job jackeagle, thanks for the link...
I know this might sound a stupid question- with the CM11 as it's still new, it's still need work done to fix a few issues, my question is, if I flash this, and root my phone, as its a custom rom CM it get's upgraded automatically , when new fixes/upgrades come out right? It's not like stock firmware rooted where i can not upgrade. Right? I mean the CM 11 gets better with time, and i dont have to keep reflashing right>???
Thanks a lot for your info/s

First u have to root ur phone and install latest recovery...After flashing this rom u have wipe cache, dalvic cache, factory reset just read instruction carefully and follow it donr skip any step has it can cause major problems or boot loop...No u will not get OTA update in CM coz its not official due to dual sim functionality being experimentally once this issue is solves completely dev's will make it official and then u may get updates via OTA..till then whenever new update is released u have to download full ROM and flash it via Recovery... before installing make backup of current ROM so that if anything goes wrong you can revet back..and its very lite below 250mb.. All the best...

Lot's of good info here... Thanks/respect.
After doing more research, I am hankering toward staying on stock, as phone is set up all good, AND not sure if I want some of the current issues on this experimental version... (Though developer doing good work) Will defo' do it when some of the issues get resolved.. Hope I didn't waste your time. Will use your infos' at a later date, when I am reflash CM11 later on..
I looked for stock 4.2.2 flash on sammobile, though there is no downloads for my location (UK) Can I use another location>? Say Germany or India? Or is that liable to soft brick my phone.. ? ? ?
Thanks to you:good:
Don't install the firmware from other region coz each region has its own setting might me bandwidth 2G or 3G so and in some regions its locked so don't try it u might end bricking u r mobile...search u r region only..

can any post custom rom for xperia m dual with two sims working funtionality.plz
This question has already been answered before and you have asked for this more than once now. NO, there are no custom roms for the xperia m dual. There are only two options for you here: 1. Stick to stock rom, 2. Make your own rom.
But if you flash a SS ROM you will lose dual sim feature :/

Buddy, you need to give a big shot at ACTIVE READING and SEARCH, around XDA!
I have a suggestion try porting from moto g 4g (Peregrine) sources as it much more similar than moto g (falcon)
Like it has sd card support and gyroscope and plus official cm11

Well, you can unlock bootloader, flash TWRP and take full system backup without rooting.
You mean without unlocking bootloader? Cauz once you have unlocked bootloader your warranty is gone.
Try this method via adb : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/general/guide-phone-backup-unlock-root-t1420351
Can you send me the logcat. I'll try if I can do anything ?
Any future development for XT1063?
I hope I will be able to make a build #2 within the next couple of days. I will keep you posted about any development.

flashing rom
can i flash this rom from a custom kitkat rom? or should i flash stock lollipop first?
You must upgrade bootloader...etc to lolipop first, so flash your phone oficialy first to lolipop (using pc companion or using flash tool) than you can flash this rom!
Is this for locked or unlocked boot-loader?

Successful
Hi everyone,
I successfully installed this rom over a pre-rooted D5503_14.5.A.0.242_Customized SA
firmware. Thanks Master Munjeni, rom is working great; my Xperia is no longer battery hungry.
Initially, have tried to compare it with the pre-rooted rom above, your rom reboots faster than pre-rooted rom mentioned above. There is also no optimization of applications on each reboot. But I encountered a problem installing xposed3-alpha, i get an error "not enough space..." it seems that internal SD card is not accessible. Anyone encountered this?

Hi, I'm new here in XDA, my English is bad, excuse and excuse.
I can not post hier:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/son...5503-14-5-0-242-customised-fr-t3099531/page16
I am user.
I only pretend to provide things (ideas)
I'm not sure, but consider this:
please, you have to check the status of the version of OpenG
OpenGL ES version 0.0, is a problem
OpenGL ES version 3.0 is correct
You can check the version of OpenGL ES, with CPU-Z from Play Store
In lollipop, I think, that this change of OpenGL ES version from 3.0 to 0.0 can (is) generated by? ¿modification (mods) .apk and .jar, caused by the signing ? (file signature)
suggestion: change the signature tool
deodexed rom with Xposed and modul Serajr Xperia Xposed LP, with Sistem super user mode activated, It seems to work, your investigated because,
¿to see if it has to do with services.jar? ("superusermod")
services.jar mod is not the same in lollipop and kk???
Selinux state? false or true? You know what it is? I do not know, bat it is security.
sorry if I say any estupided
thank you very much for your work

Hello Quesie,
I do not know how you ended in this thread because here everything is for the Sony Xperia Z1 compact mobile phone. If you flash one ot the roms in this thread to your phone (if it can be flashed in the first place), it will for sure not run, but maybe brick your phone.
For your phone this thread should be the right one, but as I guess you're a beginner with the whole rom business, proceed with caution! Read carefully, and a lot.
Z1 Compact
Thanks for this rom

Are you sure about dual SIMs working?
I have a C2004 with non-rooted stock 4.3 OS . I have never tried anything crazy on it because it is still under warranty which is going to expire soon.
I was actually waiting for a perfect ROM which should support both SIMs (extremely necessary). If you assure me that both SIMs going to work in sync, I can proceed.
BTW thank you for dual sim version...
