Hello
I want to root my H815 (european, career free, bought on internet)
If I use the official bootloader unlocker by lg, I void the waranty.
Is there a way without voiding the waranty ?
(ps : I know that root normaly void the waranty, but for some root method, if your reset the device, they don't see anything ...)

Hey guys, i wouldnt really open this question but i've tried nearly everything and all of them failed. I got this phone like 5 days ago from germany so its international one. with the official updates, i updated my device to JB(4.1.1) but now i cant root it in anyway. And i cant go in to recovery, it shows a phone under a big red caution logo. i dont want to unlock my bootloader because i just got this phone and i dont want to void the warranty. if you know any way how i can root or unlock bootloader without voiding warranty please let me know.
programs i used:
RootBootV3
Hasoon2000's all in one kit
Unlock Root
Simon's htc utility ( was trying to unlock bootloader without htcdev)
Bin4ry's restore with root
super one click v2.3.3
root-one-x
these are the ones i remember please help!
It's unfortunately impossible to root without unlocking bootloader.
And impossible to unlock bootloader without voiding warranty.
Sent from my HTC One X

Depending on where in the world you purchased your phone, you can often rely on consumer protection laws, typically they make the retailer responsible for hardware defects, not the manufacturer.
1) if i root my device will I lose the warranty? Cause apparently the device is unlocked..
2) what is the safest way to root the device?
3) if the root fails and i break my phone.. Will i be able to send it to the company to repair it?
Update:
About the unlock thingy...
4) does having the h815 version means that it is unlocked? If not.. Then my phone is still locked and is under warranty...
If your phone is already unlocked u have already void your warranty
And if u root and thay find out then your warranty is void
Trick is to unroot before u send it.
But if u experience the famous bootloop then u are in for a bummer

I said that the phone is unlocked bassed on it's the global version... And that it works in israel(my country).. Not that i downloaded the tool and unlocked it or something..
Isn't the global version unlocked? And if not... What is actually the unlock..
Is there any method to root ZE551KL without need to unlock bootloader ?
I mean one, that will be unnoticable for service after unrooting.
This was possible for some phones like LG L5.
I don't want service to know, that i was rooting my device.
Can anyone guide me how to unlock bootloader without voiding the warranty? and if it's not possible then guide me on how to root this device
not possible without voiding warranty

Hi can you tell me how to unlock bootloader .. I am ok if it voids my warranty
Go to about phone in settings, tap build number 5 or more times (i dont know how many exactly). Go back to settings list, go to developer settings, go to unlock bootloader, follow instructions.
Hey guys, I'm new to the Redmi forums, I've been on XDA since 2012 and have been using mainly Xperia devices.
So just had a few doubts regarding this phone(bought it last week)
I read about the procedure to unlock the bootloader and everything.
1. I know unlocking will void my warranty, but can i then relfash stock rom and relock bootloader to show that the bootloader was never unlocked? We could do that in Xperia.
Is it possible to do it now?
2. Will just rooting require the bootloader to be unlocked? And if yes would the warranty be void if I unlocked the bootloader and just root the phone without flashing custom ROMs?
Unlocking bootlader procedure doesn"t void you warranty. At least in Poland
Rooting requires unlocked bootloader. Im not sure about rooting, but you can always flash offcial miui build and its going to unroot your Redmi and relock you bootloader

1. As far as I know the warranty is not void. I have not seen any such warning. But please do check from your end.
2. Rooting will need unlocked bootloader if you are doing it via the recovery. Maybe one click root apps wont. I dunno of any one click root apps for RN5 Pro
Unlocking bootloader don't void warranty of xiaomi phones its confirmed
Changes in rom may void warranty like rooting
But u can again clean flash rom with mi flash restore to factory stage is possible
