Hi all...so, i buy the microSD KIngston SDCA3/64GB 4k2k to have more speed on card and more storage, i have it formated in exFAT and the card works fine to copy, paste and move files (but is not that speedy, anyway A1 SD Bench shows 81MB Read and 58MB Write).
But, when i go into Camera app and change the location of saved photos and videos to my SD card and when take the photo is looking ok, the thumbnail appear on right bottom side, but when i open the gallery to see the picture i see not the picture but one "image" with a advertise sign something like my file are broken or something like that, and when i try to record videos it shows: "Failed write the file" and i cant record any videos to SD card!
i'm rooted, in Stock Lollipop and before i have this card i have a Samsung EVO 32GB card and it works fine with the phone...whats wrong with the card?! isnt compatible? what i can do to record videos into them?
UPDATE: forget this, i solve the problem, in fact the problem is the permissions to record to sd card, and i install sd fix from playstore and now i can record into sd card! perfect now...

So... I bought a 32 gb sd card for pictures and stuff... and it had been working up until now... i took pictures and the phone said "cannot write file to SD. file now saved to phone memory"
I have formatted the SD card and now it works fine... anyone else have that issue?
even if you buy a new memory card, it should always be formatted for the first time
Hi. I'm currently using this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47755873&postcount=1
I use Camera JB+ so I can use my external SD to save pictures. However, for some reason, the app say that the SD card does not exist.
I use File Manager and confirmed that I can see interact and use my microSD and even play music on my music player using the songs I put in my MicroSD card. I also opened up the phone to see if anything was physically busted but nothing. Then when I want out of my way re-format my microSD card on my computer (formatted in FAT32) and on my phone and it still didn't work.
I'm not into camera apps so if anyone knows an app that let's you save on your SD card for me to test on, I can confirm that it's Camera JB+'s issue and not the ROM hopefully.
Ok
Have a Galaxy note 10.1 2014
No mods not rooted
I have a 64GB micro sd XC SanDisk ultra card.
It sees it and i can put files on it and read those files, but eventually i cant write to it anymore and then it says the sd card is empty but i see it still has the same amount of space used but cant see any files, didnt see any sd removed statements or anything. Still can see the files on my computer with a direct connection to the sd card but not through the tablet.
Thoughts?
I also sometimes get an "unfortunately, gallery has stopped" pop up box
I had the exact same problem, even if I formatted it lol. Had to be returned as defective. There is a tool on the sandisk website that will format the card in a specific way. Would not do mine though as goosed. Good way though to tell if your card is knackered.
I have a Samsung Evo class 10 SDXC 64 gigabyte card. when I take pictures and autosave them to the SD card it will show them immediately. But if I reboot my phone or take the card out and put it back in its says it cannot read the file and I lose all of my pictures. Also I can only put certain mp4 movies on the card . some will work some will not and I don't understand why. I can also take pictures and store them on my phone or download a movie and store them on my phone but once I transfer it over to the card it won't recognize the file. I've tried reformatting the card multiple times and it just keeps happening. They're simple JPEG pictures and mp4's. any help would be appreciated thanks
Anyone!!

DL and run foldermount from playstore.
I have the same card without any issues. My guess is a bad SD card....not sure.

I have the same card, too; works well. I think I read this on one if the reviews for this card on Amazon: the card is pre-formatted to exFAT which is what is required for Android on cards GT 32GB. Knowing I didn't need to format, I just dropped this card in my phone and let it it setup the directories and then added my backed-up data the directory. Titanium shows 63.9 GB total capacity while phone says capacity is 59.59GB.
Compared to my older SanDisk Ultra 32GB micro SDHC, a TWRP nandroid to extSdCard backup of 558 seconds, the EVO 64GB clocked a nandroid backup to extSdCard around the 2 minute mark. Can't recall the time in seconds.
Recently purchased a samsung evo+ 64GB and when i MOVE files to micro sd and delete the internal files it came from it deletes the file i transfered...
Is it not ok to delete the internal file [pics, videos, music] after you move to the sd card? Everytime i do it deletes it..
I must have deleted 3000 songs and my recent vacation pictures
The move from an iPhone to Android has not been a smooth transition .. everything is so complicating and sending videos is a pain as it is always blurry
Is this legit ?
Do i always have to have the micro sd MOUNTED for it to be able to directly transfer photos I snapped..
I need all the help I can get
Here is the sd checker
