Tested, yes. Changed the OP to show the apps removed. Thanks!
Are these the steps I use to install this, coming from COD6:
1. ODIN COG2
2. Apply the rooting and install TWRP
3. Go into TWRP and wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
4. Install this ZIP
5. Install supersu
Hello OP. Thank you for this. If time permits and if possible, could you create a stock deodexed rom with all the apps. Or a zip with the missing apps from this rom. Thanks.

I think after Odin flashing COG2, you can Odin recovery, boot to recovery, wipe, then flash the ROM. The ROM is already rooted.

they upgraded us, I am grandfathered in also, on the website it says 3gb but on the app it says 5gb, its been like that for about 3 or 4 months...
I'm confused, I thought they patched this, interesting. I also noticed thise Rom doesn't have the read write to extsdcard fix, Might want to add that into it for those that don't know how to do it themselves manually.

Yeah this is what it says in flashing instructions:
For Odexed, Deodexed, Kernels, and Modems use CWM or TWRP to flash.

For Factory Image use Odin.
__-- Unzip the downloaded file and flash ".tar.md5" via Odin. Ignore "SS_DL.dll". Will LOOSE data and root. Back to Factory State.
____-- If you boot loop go back into recovery, do a factory reset, and reboot.

And then you put it on the root of your sd card then boot phone into recovery (thats if your rooted and have a custom recovery , like cwm or twrp ) (get into recovery by having phone off press volume up and home center button and power button all simultaneously until I see the galaxy note II as creen let go of power but hold volume up and home buttun until your in recovery , then let go of buttons ) then go to install if in twrp navigate to the root of your sd card and selct the modem zip and press flash after that reboot and you should be good.

Thanks, I don't know whether or not there is a custom recovery, as I just got the phone and it came with the Jedi rom, not sure if that is cwm or twrp. And I've never rooted a custom rom or other zip before but this post certainly helps.
How do you put it in the root of SD Card? The internal one in the Note 2 right? Is there a specific folder I put it in?
And which file am I taking from the modem download? Just the .bin? Do I rename it?

Do yourself a BIG favor... slow down!!!! Start by doing a LOT of reading. Search button works great here... use it! You've never done any of this before, and if you do something wrong you are going to be posting "My phone won't boot" or some other thread that says your phone is dead.
Since you just bought the phone and it has a custom ROM, it has a custom recovery. Start by making a backup in recovery, and save to your sd card so you have something to fall back on.
Don't be silly an be too anxious and brick your device.
NO problem, if you have the jedi rom I can guarantee u have a custom recovery so just go ahead and take the steps I told u and u should be good . Having any trouble Pm me or watch some Youtube videos .

Well, yeah... I've been asking for hours today and a couple yesterday if anyone had a simple, step by step guide to flashing the modem.
I remember android central had some good stuff for the fascinate but none for the note 2 it seems.
What do you even mean by, "in recovery"? Inside the CWM or TWRP?

Based on your questions, DO NOT ATTEMPT to Flash the modem. You need to read up much more BEFORE YOU START.
One, wrong flash and you are screwed. Make sure you back up your EFS partition before you start so you dont loose your IMEI.

Do this
1. Boot into download/bootloader mode.
2. Connect to pc and use odin to flash twrp. Make sure you uncheck reboot and flash twrp in the pda slot.
3. Once flashed pull battery and disconnect from pc.
4. Press vol+ menu power buttons while inserting battery (yes it is difficult but can be done)
5. Now in recovery perform factory reset.
6. Flash this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36388145
7. Now reboot it will act/look weird but dont worry this is normal. It will reboot and take a long time to boot.
Now you are on stock mc2 (no knox anymore). Root using cf autoroot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33278464

Before I do all of that...I discovered I can boot into TWRP and updated it to the newest version. Then I installed the cyanogen nightly onto the phone. Everything seemed to be working ok except I couldn't get any phone signal but wifi worked. I tried loading the dirty unicornes rom and the same thing happened . I then flashed cm 10.1 and the phone worked for calls but the asop keyboard kept crashing and couldn't login to the wifi network. I tried several installs with factory resets with the same results. If I follow the directions you listed will I be able to install these roms and the phone work for calls or am I missing another piece of the puzzle?

Made this from the new 80220B Open EUR XX kdz. This is the 16GB/32GB version. Works well, no Bloat, no carrier logos or splashscreens. I'm on SIM Free UK version, for interest. But this will work on any European d802. 4G is fine.
This is the complete LG KK 20B ROM - nothing missing or messed with.
If you follow the method below exactly, no Audio glitches, no Touchscreen problems.
You can flash SuperSU and get root if you wish - your choice.
I provide this assuming you have an understanding of the terminology used below and appreciate that any flashing activity has some risk.
I strongly advise against using any form of restore from previous backups, such as TB or Nandroid.
Once the process is complete, custom recovery will be lost.
Method:
Download both the ROM zip file linked below and SuperSU zip file (if you want root) and copy to your SD card.
You need to be already on Rooted JB or PURE CM11 with either TWRP 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4 (nothing else).
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Wipe: System, Data, Cache. Dalvik (nothing else)
Flash the ROM zip - ignore any "FAIL" warnings.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik (nothing else)
Go to the Mount page in TWRP and select System (leave the other defaults alone)
Flash the SuperSU zip - ignore any "FAIL" warnings
Reboot
Done

the rom files for 16gb and 32gb are exactly the same. so it doesn't matter so it seems. check: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51065312&postcount=4061
Download link on OP
Has anyone flashed this on a 32GB device?
Thanks for this
In guessing that if we want a fully open flashable system as before we need to install this ROM, then flash the patched Kernel, then reflash our custom recovery, all in the same recovery session. Is that right?

File is 54% uploaded. I am currently writing up how to use my files and also how i did it for anyone that wants to do it manually. ONLY TESTED ON UK D802 16GB. Can't make guarantees on anything else although i've heard there are no 16/32gb variations for Kitkat?!

First flash Philz CWM recovery via odin and then flash SuperSu zip using Philz recory to get rooted..
Press thanks if helped..

Okk.
1. Download Superuser zip from following link and copy the zip to internal memory..
http://download.chainfire.eu/396/SuperSU/
2. Download Philz recovery build 3 from following link
https://s.basketbuild.com/devs/rutvikrvr/hl3g/cwm
3. Download odin.
4. Switch off the phone and remove back cover as you will have to pull down battery in next step.
5. Put you phone in download (odin) mode.
6. Flash Philz recovery you just downloaded via odin, after it say Reset in odin and you phone vibrates, quickly pull down the battery.. Do not let the phone switch on.
7. Now go to recovery mode..
8. Flash SuperSu zip which you downloaded and copied in your phone's internal from there.

Nice to know you are rooted..
Download Attached app Root Uninstall to remove system app (So called Blotwares)..
On the Top you will see System App/User App, tap it to switch between System or User Apps.. Then just tap on the apps you want to remove and press Uninstall on the bottom of the app..
There is also an option to backup the apps.
Don't Say, just PRESS Thanks <===============
Thanks yet again!
After Rooting. Android System seems to be eating toouch battery. Almost equal to Screen. See screenshot attached.
Any clue why?

You might have uninstalled important files...This is might be a side effects.
Do not play with root if you do not have enough knowledge what you are doing.
