HI,
guys i was trying to work for a solution with recent root and recovery development and bricked my device. Even in bootloader mode i get Secure booting error. Has anyone fixed this for snapdragon 805 variant of LG G3 ? I know some of the users have got it working for 801 variant by sorting pins from the motherboard. I just need confirmation if anyone can provide
Thanx .
any one with anything?
So I'm in the U.S. On AT&T, but have ordered a G4 h815 European model. My understanding is this model has root and TWRP capability. Could someone with this model tell me what I should do? What I mean is, should I block any firmware updates, or is there a process necessary with LG to unlock the bootloader? I just want this phone to work on AT&T and for me to be able to load custom ROMs when they start appearing in the forums.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hi! I bought a H815 version, foe a steal btw, "130$" Thinking that I could unlock the bootloader, but then doing more research only finding that the only way doing so is if I have a EU version.
So anyone know anyway I could trade or buy a EU or UK version for cheap so I could trade or it doesn't anyone know the status of the USA H815 bootloader status?
Also wtff why isn't the H815 version upgraded to marshmallow? This stock ROM is majorly broken .
tmobile one can be bootloader unlocked. h811.
I just did the same thing, got a h815 USA with locked bootloader.
Using LGUP I was able to flash version 20d MM and it is working fine.
You could try https://www.reddit.com/r/phoneswap/
I've got 20j MM running on my USA H815.
I updated with the .kdz file from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/kdz-firmware-v20j-united-kingdom-2016-t3518925
I used the installers and software from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
Note that in the LGUP application, you need to click Update to select a .kdz file. You then need to exit and restart the program, then click refurbish to do a clean flash.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? maybe @autoprime I flashed my LG G4 US991 to AS991 but no service IMEI is still intact but no service "If I flash it back to US991 service works.
could there be something done to fix this?
Thanks!

not good to cross flash
sounds like modem is not compatible
might try backing up modem with flashfire and restoring it once as001 is installed but prob wont work either

Ive been able to flash other USC Models of LG to AS with no issues but for some strange reason this doesnt work. I even went on to flashing it to VZW->SPRINT->AS but nothing, might load a QCN of an original AS to see what happens.
I have an ATT g8 that I crossflashed to open US, the only guide i see here is twrp for the sprint g8. Will this also work for a g8 running open US? I'm trying to install TWRP to flash ArrowOS

yes, the guide will work. At the point you're at, whether the phone used to be sprint or at&t etc is irrelevant.
