I want to disable multi touch in Sony Xperia M.
Not in a app, but everywhere, so that it can only take one input at a time.
Reason: My touchscreen get hanged (yes only touch screen not phone) occasionally when i put it in jean etc.
I Don't need multi touch in day to day task so it will be fine by me.
Hope someone can tell me the way to disable the multi touch input.

Hey guys!
I am having some trouble with my artemis.
It was working properly and after i sent a text message it blocked the touch fuction of screen..
the message was send properly and and I realised this after 5 minutes.
I can't "touch" the screen but i can use it with the mouse, controlled by the trackball. But sometimes I can use it but the point where I touch is a bit far from the function that response.
Anyone knows what could this be?

Click to collapse
Do calibrate the screen, if not help, change the touchscreen.
hey people,
today i turned it on, and the touch was working again..
don't know what happened
My touch screen won't respond to touch or the stylist. This just happened but I am beginning to see some bleed on the screen so I know it's a hardware issue.
Got a new one coming to replace it but here's my problem. My settings are set to automatically lock the screen after a period of time for security reasons and to help prevent pocket calls! Does anyone know a work around with the keyboard to unlock the screen?
Most of the software I loaded is on my PC but whenever I rebuild a phone it's always good to look at what is in the thing via "remove program" option. Needless to say, I can't get there without unlocking the screen.
I tried my magic wand and threatened the phone by telling it I was going to replace it with an iPhone but so far... nothing works.
Thanks,
Rick
The lockscreens are based on touch input. The only option I know of to recover your data is to replace the digitizer.
AFAIK, doing that on Windows Mobile 6.5 Stock is completely impossible. If you can get past the slider screen, you can use the numbers on your TP2 keypad and press enter. But I'm running 6.1 (makes me feel better being used to ye olde Pocket PCs), so I can't verify anything.
Hey fellasĀ“!
A while ago i discovered a crack in the screen of my xplay. I donĀ“t know what caused it as it happened while i was away :/. Anyway the screen is not responsive at all but the colors looks clean and normal as they should. If i could just get past the lockscreen i would be able to use the gamepad to navigate through the menus and so on. My question is: Can i deactivate the lockscreen with adb or similar? Maybe find a way to simulate touch commands to my beloved phone with a computer? I am thankful to any answer!
Just yesterday I realised that my phone won't let me use the keyboard while talking. Also the back-key and some other in-software buttons don't work. At first I thought this was by design to prevent unwanted touch input while having a call, but thinking about it later, it seemed kind of bug'ish to me and rather annoying as I couldn't look up something while calling.
Is there a way to (re)enable all the buttons and the keyboard (while having a call, that is)? The phone is rooted with locked bootloader, running that 4.3 UK generic rom floating around in the development-section.
Any tip appreciated. Best regards and so on.
i tried searching for a rom that has a auto play feature when head phones plug in and since the phone doesn't respond to touch only buttons is there any rom maybe even where the track pad acts like a mouse (only in a perfect world) halp plz:crying: EDITr a rom that is completly voice contolled and and no display so it saves battery that would be awesome for people for "dead" phones or blind people
