Syncing music using Sony Music app? - Sony Smartwatch 3

I have looked on the Sony website and can only see a tutorial for using the walkman app. I know they are basically the same thing but I cannot seem to find the tools in the app to make it sync. Can anyone help?
Thanks

[Q] Help with lyrics of the stock music player

I've bought M8 a week ago. I've come from a Symbian belle device, where if I put a .lrc file with same name as the song, it'd show the lyrics while playing songs. Now in M8 I've found there is a lyric downloading settings but I can't seem to see any lyrics on stock Music player. Can anyone help?

The inbuilt Grace Note lyrics search engine fetches the lyrics automatically. I don't think there is an option to choose your own lyrics

Hey,
I tried this on multiple tracks and it doesn't seem to work. I thought I might fix the issue by modifying the .mp3 files and manually setting the correct album, artist, track number etc., but it still doesn't work. Whenever I try updating the lyrics I get the following notification:
Lyrics from LyricFind
Total 1 lyric(s) checked. 0 lyric(s) updated.
Any thoughts on how I could force it to find the correct lyrics? And it's not like I am trying with an obscure artist, it's Led Zeppelin IV for Christ's sake.
I remember this from my One X days. It's a location issue. You have to trick Gracenote to think that you are in the US through a VPN software and then it will work with no problem.
1) Download and install Hotspot Shield Free from play store
2) Run Hotspot Shield and make sure that Virtual Location is: United States.
3) Play a song and you will see lyrics appearing.
4) Un-install Hotspot Shield
5) Play another song and voila, you always have lyrics

Thanks a lot for the tip, mate, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. The Wi-Fi at work, which I used to download most of the lyrics the phone did manage to recognize, assigns US-based IP addresses, so I should have had no issues to begin with. I went ahead and tried the fix with Hotspot Shield anyways, but to no avail.
What's even more interesting is that it has downloaded lyrics for individual songs within an album. Why it would recognize one track, but wouldn't the very next one from the same album is beyond me.

[APP] Poweramp Remote 4 Android Wear

Hello.
Just want to share some very good news - there's ain Play Store called "Poweramp Remote 4 Android Wear", and it works with Moto 360 like a charm. The app is paid, but it finally allows to use Moto 360 to control music as fully as Sony's SmartWatch 2 used to do.
WBR, Draco
first off, FINALLY THANK YOU.
second: few small things to make it perfect:
1. folder list
2. metadata is sometimes off, mostly pictures but sometimes I'll go to an artist and not see a song I know I have...if I find the another way the artist will show as same.
3. browsing on general should mirror poweramp...one of the reasons I will never switch away from poweramp is the way you can browse for a song: folders and artist then album.
there's one more annoyance that no one do anything about though and that's the ever present default notification that comes first when you play music . Once you can get this stuff working this will be as good as the app in SW2...really missed that app
Hi.
I'm not the developer of this app, I've just posted here about it You can contact developer via Play Store. As for the default music notification, it drives me mad also, but apparently there's nothing to be done yet - Android Wear is sort of a parody on the real Android...
WBR, Draco.
I looked at it but have been a supporter of the MusicBoss for Wear app. It can control pretty much any app that controls volume and the dev is responsive to fixes! I have been following the dev since the Kickstarter Pebble. So he is a user as well.

Already there
I have also Music Boss (and on my pebble) but very huge difference, with Music Boss we can not browse Album, Artist, Title, and not setup for equalizer.
For Wear I use Stellio found before the Power Amp app (I have also Power Amp on my phone).

True, but I like to actually see what I am doing there on the phone, which is better to view the settings IMO. I have tried Stellio as well and is ok, but I gravitate back to MB for just playback and volume controls.

Why is offline music playback so hard?

So I was loving the look of the SW3, especially when Runkeeper released their beta version. However now I read that offline music is more difficult than it really needs to be?
Why haven't Sony got their own music player on there, surely it makes sense that a lot of people are going to want to use the watch for this?
Do you have to use Google Music or is there an alternative? Seems like everytime I decide this is the time to buy one, something else puts me off.
I use Spotify on the phone and then I control it from the watch. I have also uploaded about 100 song into the watch and tried to play it from watch to Sony SBH-20 bluetooth headphones but the sound is sometimes laggy although the distance between watch and receiver is under 1 meter. I have no another BT receiver except car radio which I was not able to connect (message Device is full - ?)
Has anybody similar issue?

I was browsing through the online manual of the SW3 and found the following tidbit:
To download a playlist using the Walkman® application
Make sure the battery level of your SmartWatch 3 is 70% or higher.
From the main application screen on your Android™ phone or tablet, find and tap Walkman.
To open the Walkman® home screen menu, find and tap Walkman.
Tap Playlists, then select the playlist that you want to download to your SmartWatch 3.
Drag the slider beside download to wearable in the appropriate direction to turn on the download playlist function. A card indicating the download progress appears on your SmartWatch 3.

My Walkman application doesn't support this yet, so probably an update of the Walkman application should take care of this.
If you sideload ES File Explorer (using the APK and ADB), you can load music using ADB and play it with the ES File Explorer built in music player, it works surprisingly well.

Using watch a media file manager for phone. No stream, no download, no sideload.

As the description says, I only want to use the watch to see all the music on my phone, so I can pick different artists on the fly. Everything I am seeing involves using either a streaming service to use the watch as the media rendering device, or puting the music directly onto the watch itself also making it the rendering device. Does anyone know of an app, or means with which to see the music on my phone via the watch and select artists, albums etc? This "one song at a time" stuff as "File Boss" and the like do is the pits.
All I need the watch to do is act as the file manager. Some apps let you skip around or adjust volume, but they do not let you see the contents of the album, or any other artists available, forcing me to use my phone to do so anytime I wish to pick a new album/artist.
Community, do you have any advice for me? Thanks in advance!!
Stellio Music Player can show you music that is already on your phone and you can change songs on the fly from your watch. I used it for the very same purpose
