Hi everyone,
With the last update, the "Ambient mode" has disapeared on my Moto 360 (settings) and Android Wear app on my Galaxy S5. I have already done a factory reset on my Moto 360 but without success...
Any idea ? Thx in advance.
Regards,
SB
It's still on both my watch and Moto Droid Turbo. There was a recent Wear update for my phone. I'm now on 1.1.1.2113877

Ths for your reply. I've already got the last update of Android Wear
It's so strange ! Any help ?
I also updated, ambient is available on the watch and on my nexus 6.... would suggest you uninstall android wear... factory reset watch and reinstall....
I've already done those actions
Is there a better "hard reset" than the factory reset on the watch ? A possibility to flash the watch with the last official update ?
Thx for your help.
Have you tried reinstalling the Android Wear app?
Mine won't even pair. Ugh, sooo many problems...

I wonder if it's the ROM you're using on your phone rather than the 360.
Certainly a possibility, but I doubt since it was working just fine before today's update.

Finally got it. Had to do a factory reset on my watch. Very annoying.

Ths for your help !
I've got :
- The official rom on my GS5 (last official update)
- The last update of Android Wear
- The last update on my Moto 360
- I've already reinstalling the last Android Wear with wipe cache
- I've already done a factory reset on my Moto 360 ...
I'm going to try another time ...
is there any way to keep screen on always on when in ambient mode ???
Any idea for my problem
The last update of the Moto 360 has nothing changed ...

This is an unofficial build of CyanogenMod 11 for the D851.
It may work on other devices but you do so at your own risk, in fact, everything you do is at your own risk.
I take 0 credit for this as all I did was compile the builds. As I have said before thank those that contributed to getting it going, I'll build every so often if anything major changes or someone request a newer build.

I use PA Gapps when running any AOSP build.
In order to get mobile data working I had to go to
Settings
Mobile Networks
Access Point Names
Edit T-Mobile US LTE from fast.t-mobile.com to fast.tmobile.com
or select T-Mobile US LTE IPv6
Installation:
Only tested with TWRP, thats what I use.
Download the ROM / Gapps and place on your SD card
Reboot to recovery
Make a backup of your stock software if you choose
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Install the ROM / Gapps
Wipe Cache / Dalvik
Reboot and Enjoy
Updating a build should not require wiping
I'll continue to build CM11 for a while, at least until updates for it stop.
Yay
D851 ROMs on fire lately!

Not working for me... I did dirty flash..
Bluetooth will toggle on and search for devices... It connects and pairs with my LG tones but upon playing music they disconnected and said out of range... The search for device option doesn't work. But toggling BT will get it to show devices.. We are close!!

anybody confirm BT working with a dirty flash?
Updated, working now.
It's still a step in the right direction and very much appreciated. Thanks!
@Ducter I probably speak for the majority here in saying thanks and your thread/build is welcomed by the community.
Updated thread, Bluetooth is working now. I think everything is working good now thanks to those that have been working on it.

I flashed it on top of the previous cm (from the other thread) and I can pair with my g watch but as soon it pairs the watch says disconnected... I will try a fresh install.

Did you reset your 360? Just checking? The watch is connected specifically with the ROM it was set up with...so new ROM means you have to reset the watch.

I thought the most recent update made it so that you don't have to reset to pair to a new device, and added device options under settings?
Irregardless, I did not reset my Moto 360 and paired from the new menu under settings. It paired, but immediately disconnected. I deleted the phone and the phone could no longer find my watch. I reset and reinstalled the Wear app, and it paired just fine and didn't disconnect after. So try resetting your watch.
Has anybody noticed Qi charging working better for them with CM over stock? I didn't have to play with my charger last night like I usually had to with LGs software.

Anyone knows what happens with the old watchfaces?
Time to start checking for update every 30 minutes.
Anybody got it already?

My 360 rebooted itself. Wasn't sure why. And my watch face was gone.
Apparently facer got updated to be Android Wear 5.0 compatible.
After switching to a stock face, and checking, sadly my 360 says its up to date

Yes it did, and if you update Facer before getting the 5.0 update you'll lose the faces until the watch is updated. The same goes for any other face apps that have been updated to be compatible with 5.0.
So don't do any updates until your watch is updated.

I figured that out after Facer Auto-updated
EDIT: Facer Auto-updated again.. now its working again. Phone side app looks new too.
EDIT2: UGH just got a "Facer has stopped working" message on the 360, and my watch face is blank. Rebooted 360, and it does the same after a few minutes. Will go back to a stock face until my 360 gets updated.

I actually installed a new rom, and had to reset my watch to get it to connect to "android wear".
After resetting and resyncing apps, charging watch to 100% and then rebooting. i still get "system is up to date"

I did the same after the 2nd update came down and I got the "Facer has stopped working" message twice. But it apparently restarted because my watch face is back.
How can i get the Android Wear 2.0 update? Im still on v1.0.4
Is Android 5.0 allready online for my Moto360?
Checked for updates on my 360 and it looks like its downloading an update. Kinda slow though
How do you check for updates? Just tap system updates under about?

I am having the exact same problem lately, but i think it's more of a Android Wear App bug then the watch itself because alarms that i set on the watch work flawlessly.
( i reeintalled the Android wear app deleted cache and data, reset my watch and everything is back to normal tey it yourself and post your results on my subreddit /r/sonysmartwatch3 there are always people there )
Does anyone have android auto working with their note 7? It loads and then freezes on mine.
works with my nex4100 headunit.
That's what I have. Have you updated the firmware on the radio recently?
Works perfect on my 2016 Hyundai Genesis. I had to go in and update my permissions manually for some reason. It kept closing on me but I think I hit the back button or something when the permissions were coming up requesting access.

Just wanted to high five you, 2016 Genesis here also. I just wish Waze would get off their duff and implement Android Auto, it's the only app I am waiting for.
I haven't updated firmware but I need to. Any bugs with the newest firmware?

Same issue here with NEX4100. Firmware has been updated to December 2015, but screen freezes and can't do anything after that. Bluetooth works just fine, it's just Android Auto
I just did the One UI Beta and now my watch will not connect to the phone. When I install the wear software I get an error on the phone. does anyone have their watch working with One UI or got it to work?

Yes. I was on ONE UI Beta, last week update it via OTA to Stable ONE UI. No any issues or errors...:good:
Would you be able to send me the APK of the WEAR app that is working. I can see if that will fix the issue.
Thanks for the reply!

I flashed back to CRL2, connected to my watch. Then updated through recovery from ZSAB to ZSBB. Sprint Note 8.
I went back to CRL1 and stayed there...I got connected with Pie but couldn't get the calling features working on the watch.
I'll just wait for the official update....my watch is too useful to not have full functionality.
