So my my little WiFi button on my notification bar is tweaking out. It's just like flashing uncontrollably. When I open WiFi settings it says WiFi turning on but nothing happens and I can't turn it off. Ive tried turning it on and off and its been doing it for 3 hours.

Guys, I'm really frustrated right now. Since the update my phone has been like this:
I've already tried 3 basebands and none of them seemed to fix the problem. Any idea what the problem might be?
I have a strong signal where I am, so I don't believe it's the radio on the new firmware.
However, maybe try a reflash of the firmware or a factory reset?
Beyond that, maybe there was some sort of service glitch/outage with your actual provider?

I've been on the Cdma 4.0.4 leak for a few months. Here is what my signal looks like... GSM may looks different, but you can try to get a better picture using Real Signal.
Yes, it's my app, but I'm not trying to advertise, just trying to offer a useful tool. (=

It goes like this. The screen is still on and responsive, like I can keep pressing stuff but obviously I can't see a thing so it's pretty much useless. It happens so often now I literally cannot use my phone. Every time I turn it on it starts blacking out like this and flickering. Any ideas what this is? Thanks for helping
I think your phone's display is damaged. Anyway to be sure try a different ROM first.

yeah its not working with any other roms either. It also has this problem in recovery mode. If I try to take a screenshot it turns out perfectly fine.
+1, display seems damaged by what you describe

Hey everyone, I'm experiencing bad battery drain because my NFC will not turn off. As you can see in the pictures the NFC toggle is greyed out, I have done multiple factory resets and battery pulls as well as switching out different batteries and nothing is working. Is there anything I can do or do I have to return this phone or possibly buy a new one? thanks everybody.

have you tried to flash with stock Odin files.
if you are not comfortable doing so you can take it to a carrier store or a best buy for them to do it for you if it doesn't work then exchange it for a new one.
I've flashed before I'll give that a shot thanks

What batteries are you trying? Are they 100% for sure OEM NFC batteries?
Hi,
I'm experiencing the same problem (tried 2 OEM NFC batteries).
Any progress on your end?
So, after taking the phone in and replacing the battery, I came home and the phone updated to

With this update, I am able to turn on my hot spot.
Can someone else confirm this?
I am not rooted.
Thanks.

Just curious, had you done the hot spot hack? Does it tell you to subscribe to the hot spot? And what I'm really curious to know, does everything work and work well on PJ1? There are a couple of people reporting data isn't reliable and calls drop. See here.
I am dead stock. I haven't done any hacking whatsoever. So far, everything works well. The phone was updated yesterday and I bought a new battery for it. That's it.

Sometimes there is no network service when screen is off or phone asleep. I recently changed sim card, that didnt work. I think doze messes this up somehow.
So I added a screenshot: I just came to a different location and when i turned my screen on there was no signal but a sec later the signal was good (in the same place) i literally watched it turn to almost full signal when i turned on the screen...
I had some problems, when i send an SMS it doesnt arrive or arrives late...
Thanks for your help!

This seems to be a software problem, if you use any battery saving application, disable it if not, clear cache, if that doesn't work, go to safe mode and see if the problem persists if not, a 3rd party application can cause this if that doesn't help, Flash stock firmware again. If that doesn't help you, I'd recommend you go to a LG service center
