My wife has a galaxy note 2 and is very happy with it, especially since she installed CyanogenMod since it's a lot smoother. But she is thinking about changing smartphone because she needs Instagram for her work and she can't upload videos "upload failed" is what she gets every time. The problem occurs since the stock rom, tried factory reset, tried the beta app, nothing works. I researched and found no solution yet, can someone please help us?
Cheers

Hello all,
I recently upgraded to the Note 3 and as we all know, the ROMs are quite large. I've never had a problem with other large downloads but many (I'd say 90%) of my downloads from Android File Host abruptly stop halfway or thereabouts. It's not a connection issue because other simultaneous downloads complete fine and the download doesn't slow to a crawl before stopping, it just quits as though it's done. I've yet to try on browsers other than Chrome as it's definitely my preferred browser, but has anyone else had this issue or a know a workaround? I know Chrome downloads could formerly be tricked into resuming by temporarily moving the defective file, restarting the download, pausing it, deleting the newly-generated file, and replacing the old defective file in the download folder, but this no longer works. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
are you getting the download unsuccessful message on the notifications bar? alot of times, even happening to me, ive been getting those messages and the same thing happening on my note 3 when i install darthstalker, jedi or even wicked rom. if so, if you go to the darthstalker rom op and scroll down, jovy23 had posted that many ppl get these issues and wrote out a possible solution to that problem. Hope this helps

Hello, everyone. I rooted my Nexus 7 a couple weeks ago and every since then, it will freeze when doing a few select tasks such as:
* Trying to view a youtube video with Reddit Sync.
* Trying to view a Snapchat video.
Any ideas on how to fix it? I was thinking about flashing stock ROM (or maybe even Android L?), but I don't want to lose everything. I know it's not a huge issue to bring everything back, but it is kind of annoying. Thanks!
I couldn't suggest going to L if you're having problems now... L isn't finished, and quite a few people have had problems after flashing it. Maybe backup, everything, and reflash / reroot.... Worked for me when I was having problems last week
I have the sm p600. Rooted with 5.1.1.
I watch TV shows on a website called ArconaiTV and its worked perfectly for almost a year on my Note 2014 edition. Recently the site stopped working for me (video freezes but audio continues). I tried updating browsers and Webview. Even a factory reset. The site still works fine on my other devices. Clearing cache didnt work either.
Does this site still work for anyone else?
Thanks for your help if you can test it for me and post your model/firmware.
Would anyone mind testing this for me? I'd really like to know if its just my device or maybe the website itself has stopped working for the SM P60X.
i am having a problem ive ever experienced before. when i am off wifi everything loads jyst fine but when i am on wifi, play store downloads apps and same wit whatsapp but when i go on a broswer, (ive tried four) it will not load but once i take it off wifi it loads fine. has any one ever experienced this? ive even done a factory reset with the same problem immediately happening? is it possible the router is responsible for this? but then how can certain things load fine but broswers never do? thanks for any help

Sounds like your WiFi is broken. Does your camera auto focus quickly, slowly or broken?
Download this app, run it, scroll to firmware tab and compare your bootloader to PDA version (last 3 characters).

Unless you're running a ported ROM, the last 3 should match to indicate you have the right match. If you mismatch, you may lose some compatibility. Like if your mismatched across Android OS versions, your WiFi won't work and your camera focus will be slow or broken.

Hey so I've been having this issue with my Galaxy A50 where the wifi would keep hiccuping in a constant pattern, this is very noticeable when I try to stream games using either Steam Link or Moonlight, the wifi would cut for like a split second each 5 ish seconds. I did however find a workaround, and that it so enable and disable airplane mode, it would completely fix the hiccups.
So today, I regretted updating my phone so much (7th of July update), because now, the hiccups are back and they are more constant than ever. The trick I'd use to make the wifi stable no longer works, I need to keep airplane mode enabled at all times to avoid these hiccups.
I would like one of either solutions: can I fix this issue once and for all, because it's supper annoying, I tried removing my sim cards and all but the issue persists, if there is no fix for this, then I'd like to revert to the previous version I had, I have already downloaded the files from Sammobile, but I'm worried that it would brick my phone or even refuse to install period, here's the ROM that I'd like to install:

I've explained this issue a bit better on the steam forums, so I'm gonna copy what I typed there;
Thank you very much in advance.
Okay so, recently I got a brand new Galaxy A50 phone, and whenever I'd try to stream games (over local network using WiFi) I'd get frequent and consistent hiccups that last about a split second each 3 seconds ~, I suspected that the issue could be from my phone being faulty or whatever, but I tried my brother's phone which is the same as mine, but the issue persisted.
On very rare occasions, the hiccups would not occur and the stream would be absolutely perfect, so I know for sure it might not be a hardware issue and that a stutter free experience is possible for sure, however I have no clue how to keep it consistent.
Mind you I have tried many other devices, my old Galaxy S5 and S6, even tried a Huawei phone and an Oppo phone and they all seem to work just fine, I even tried different streaming services like Parsec, TeamViewer, Moonlight etc... So the issue is certainly not my network as it is working just fine with other devices.
The A50 is a pretty popular mid-range phone so I'd expect at least someone to use Steam link (or similar apps) on it and experience this problem, yet I haven't found a single post about this issue online, the only thread that pops up is another one of mine related to this issue (on Reddit).
Can anybody help me come up with a solution? I tried quite literally everything I can, including updating my OS and all of my apps.
Thank you in advance
