Unfortunately LG has been quiet about launching an unlocked version of the G3 in the US.
Assuming there wont be an Unlocked US model, which one would be better: Korean F400 model or Asia D855 (both 32GB)?
I'm guessing D855 should have less bloat than an unlocked F400 from Korean carriers and perhaps slightly better screen tuning (European/International version is also D855). Suggestions?

Korean Model can pick up ATT LTE and I was able to run hotspot apps without rooting or hacking anything. That and the Antennae was a huge plus for me lol
Any other difference?

Im not sure of the radio bands but the Korean model does have a lot of Korean left once you switch it to English. Kind of annoying like in the dialer.

Thanks. Since both F400 and D855 support my carrier's 3G/LTE bands it all comes down to the other differences likes pre-installed software, screen calibration/tuning and others.
I wonder if anyone tried different G3 models - Korean, European and/or US and would be kind to post some impressions.
question
the f400 and d855 are the same size? found some nice back covers on aliexpress but it says only corean version f400 but they are all the same size no?
Hi all i want to know if my lg g3 d855 support 4g lte or not ?
D855 is international version of lg g3
thanks
What the hell?
Google it.
LG website has a page for the D855 with its technical specs, for god sake!
Yes it does. Use it on atf and T-Mobile with 4g.
Just wondering if I can use the Bell LG G4 H812 on the T-Mobile network if I get it unlocked.
Yes, no problem. I've used the following on their network I am on Rogers normally... LG G2 (D803), LG G4 (H812) and LG G4 (H815T) are all working with T-Mobile.
Roam Mobility's sim uses T-Mobile's network in the US so if you don't unlock your G4, it will still work fine.

Will this model also work on at&t. Help,I think I ordered the wrong phone.
Hey,
I have a question about the LG G3 Models, In Israel the only model being sold is the D855, I've seen that the D850 / D851 is cheaper for some reason in some stores in the US.
My question is why is there a big difference between the prices of the D855 and the D850 / D851?
Second question is- Will the D850 / D851 work in Israel? I saw that the LTE bands are different in the models. From what I know is that Israel work with 1800Mhz LTE (Band 3 if I'm correct), In some sites I see that D850 / D851 works with band 3 and some say it doesn't. Would you give me the correct answer? Also about the 3G+2G just to be sure it will work in Israel.
Help me

I bought 2 lg g3 that I am taking as gifts to israel on Dec 24th. I ordered both on aliexpress which are both supposed to be D855 model. After flashing firmware and having pRoblems with 1 after flash, I found out it's actually an D850 model that way disguised in a d855 case. I now flashed the proper D850 firmware on it now and it's working in canada now. I hope it will work in israel. I looked at the band's and it looks like it SHOULD work on 4G / lte. 1800 and 2100 are supported in the d850 from what I read. The fact that the Chinese seller flashed a d855 firmware on it and it was working makes me believe it should be fine. I will know soon!
I got d850 and i know nativly it dont zupport wireles charging and no fm radio
D850 works in Israel
JI meant to reply when I came back from Israel in Dec, but got busy. The AT&T D850 I brough over as a gift works in Israel. All Israeli bands are supported and work- 4G too.

Hello guys,
I am thinking to buy an LG G7 ThinQ G710N to use with T-mobile in the US. Is that model compatible with T-mobile and other US carriers? Will it receive LTE speeds ?
Thanks
