So as the title states. Rooted 11c, viper installed and dpi changed to 540 or 500 I forget. Lg calender app shows events in month view but when I click on day it doesn't open event. I was having notification issues but figured out issue with sync. Still nothing. Removed accounts added back in. Nothing. Gonna try dpi back to stock. But any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks
Edit: dpi did nothing..

Never had to do that. Will try after work. I have a lot of events in calendar. If I switch to Google calendar will those events sync even though they are loaded in lg calendar.

Yes, the LG calendar uses the Google Calendar sync file, if you didn't delete it.
But 11C? I thought 11A was the latest for Verizon G4.

It started on my G2 on the stock rom. No alarms but the alarm icon is still in the notification bar. I rooted and installed Malodus and it came back. I installed carbon, there it was. No matter what rom. I can't find an app that causes it. If I open Clock app it goes away instantly but comes back again.
Now guess what. Bought a new G3 and there it is. What the heck?

Quick update. I logged on to Google and deleted all app data then factory reset my phone. So far so good on the icon.
anyone using the google phone app? I installed it when it was still mistakenly compatible with the 10 and it works great, but when I set it as the default phone app, it won't ring or vibrate when someone calls. I checked all the permissions and everything looks fine. Just not sure why it won't ring unless I don't set a default phone app

I have it, it is simply the dialer and doesn't include all the functions. HTC phone takes off. The nice thing is you can use the search functions. Have you been able to get visual voicemail to work? I haven't been able to. Also is the version you have 2.5.11rc8? or did you somehow land rc9
Yeah it's also silent for me too. Shame since I much prefer the Google dialer.

If anyone wants it just download it from here:

RC8 works without issues. Remember it is just the dialer, been using this since my first day with the HTC 10

yes, rc9 will not install on anything but a nexus device or a device with a specific sub-folder. Some people were able to get it to work on CWM builds but since we do not have CWM we have to stick with RC8. On the plus side there is very minor differences and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I got rc9 installed and fully working by using first flashing cyber6's Google Dialer zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/themes/htc-10-replace-bad-stock-apps-t3371688/page4). Then I downloaded and replaced GoogleDialer.apk in /system/priv-app/GoogleDialer.

Were you able to update any Google dialer besides rc9? none of the 4.0+ seem to work for me if I just the place apk over the old. Do I need to wipe Dalvick or something?

I'll try it. I've already replaced Contacts, Messenger and Gallery apps. So might as well replace this one as well.
But then again, I don't want to root or install TWRP just yet either.
It's on mine. It will not go.

I just installed the Google Dialer from the OnePlus 5 and after running the Play Store update and theming it with Swift Black it's so much better than the OnePlus dialer.
I also added Google Duo for video calls.

Thanks

I bought 2 US thinqs from t-mobile the other day. Both have the same base version. Security version. I've compared every setting I can think of. But one of the phones does not show Advanced messaging options in settings. No alias settings. My. Phone shows a click able menu called "advanced messaging" but the other phone does not. Anybody know anything about this?

I'm trying to figure out why I can't get delivered and read reports when my friend and I text each other. We don't have this problem with anybody else. Just each other. This seems to be the only setting that could be causing the issue. Delivery and read reports are working with mms between the two phones but not sms. Alias seems to just be another version of your personal profile on the phone. Not too concerned about that function but it seems to be connected to since she doesn't have that setting either
Hmmm, just got my silver T-Mobile G7 ThinQ Friday and I don't have advanced messaging on it either.
