[Q] [Help Request] [Buy The One X Or Not?]

Im a note owner, Im pondering either to buy a new note or change to the HTC One X. I have tried to search on Youtube, but no review matched my will. ( Got some scratches on the screen, and that's why I'm willing to change )
The note has a real good battery life, lasts a Full day with Medium/Med-High usage ) - But it does have an Over-Heat issue, whatever game you play? It will start heating from Minute 2 !
From your experience HTC One X users, can you give me any advice? How's life with HTC One X ? The Note is a really nice device ofcourse with it's own disadvantages
Unremovable battery is not an issue at all to me, but just wondering what happens if something freezes out while flashing or while using? How can we go back to point 0? On samsung simply, unplug/plug the battery. My only concern.
P.S : Not starting a Brand Fight like on other threads I've seen lol

i love mine, and i truly believe that if you get a perfectly fine one then its one of the best handsets you could own, it does burn hot sometimes when playing the heavier games, but its nothing to worry about really
the phone itself is hard coded to shut down after holding the power button for about 10 seconds, and it will always do this no matter whats happening on the device
overall, i prefer it to the note, camera fantastic and the tegra 3 games are a blast, even if gamesloft haven't given it quite the support that is should have, but that apparently all coming soon

Thanks for your reply! And Uh finally some words that makes me feel better about the Unremovable Battery thingy - Hoping to hear some more opinions

i bought mine today and i'm fully satisfied! it's fantastic! sure, it's not perfect: i can't say nothing about battery yet but i prefear removable one, no s-off yet, no sd... but 32gb and cloud can last me, and it's f**king hot when i'm play games (but it's good for winter )!
i love design and form factor... i think it's one of the most beautiful smartphone ever. i hope nvidia will release source soon.

when i first got the device, its the BOMB! i love ONE X! about the heating issue, i had it before when everything is still STOCK, but right now, after installing latest ROM (i use CHARMELEON & franco r-9 kernel), the issue has been resolved... even if i play heavy games, like SHADOWGUN THD, the heat is within normal, also the battery life is much better!

i went from a note to the one x. i would prefer a smaller screen size say 4.5", but it fits better for me with 1 handed use. I miss the awesome battery life I had on my galaxy note as battery life isn't too good right now.

Hi guys, I have a question or few questions.
I want to buy the HTC One X(International) one month before my contract expires because I want to play with it before I go to AT&T. so here are my questions.
1. Can I root my HTC One X without sim card and no carrier contract?
2. Can I also install or flash custom rom without sim card and no carroir contract?
The reason that I ask these questions, it is because I am a noob for rooting and flashing roms. I have never done these stuffs before, but I am currently researching a lot.
That is why I want to know the answers to these question before I buy it.

Its a smartphone, sure you can do all that without SIM

Does "Kingdom Conquest" (the game) work?

I am addicted to this game and really want to know if it works with the Note II. It doesn't work with the S3 but this might just be an ICS issue. Both devices have the same GPU, but the Note II ships with JB.
If you could install it and see if it loads and what not that would be great! The only real downside is that after you install it and launch it, there is a 20 minute download. The game really is amazing though... :good:

I have a Galaxy Nexus ( on Jellybean ofc ) and it shows as not supported ( probably due to Jellybean ), so my guess would be it won't work on Galaxy Note II , though some1 should try and reply here.
Since it's a free game anyway, you could always find the apk somewhere and try the hard way xD

Yeah, that's the game but I also have the Nexus and it works just fine on JB. Granted, I am using jakeday's Jelly Belly rom but I don't see why it wouldn't work on the stock...? Also, I don't have an issue downloading it from the play store.
The closest test I can come up with is that there are reviews on the play store that say the S3 doesn't work with the game (and the S3 has the same GPU as the Note II). However, the S3 is also running ICS so that might be the issue... that's the big thing that iOS has going for it, you don't have these huge compatibility issues.
Anyway, if someone with the Note II could try to download this game, let it install, and test it out I would greatly appreciate it!

2 questions about gaming

Hello everyone!
So I have my Note 2 for about a year and I am very happy with it. My girlfriend has just bought the LG G2 which is a great device. I've been playing around and I've noticed when I played Minion Rush it had some extra blur effect (on gru rocket) but my Note does not have this. I was just woudering could this be some how enabled or Note's hardware does not support that?
And the second one: I've found in 4.3 in developer options the "Turn on 4x MSAA". I know that this makes textures more smoother but if I enable that and reboot my device when I check it's not enabled...? Is there a way to make it always one? Or mabye is a bug in rom..? I use DN3 3.1.1 Rom. Btw great rom!

[Q] Going for T2 Ultra from ZL?

I am currently on Xperia ZL about past 11 months now, the phone pretty much rocked everything , but recently while trying to clean my phone's mic whole I scratched a bit and later on after a weak or so, the screen started to crack..its nothing serious till now as its sticking fine , but If i want to buy a new display it is about a 100 usd here in Bangladesh.
So I was taking a look to the larger phones, Something from the phablets like the T2, The phone looked quit nice at the store, affordable for me, but I found quit some confusing reviews about the Ram and the sound quality . I am a musician by pro, least the headphones should work as good as the z or zl.
Also there are the Ram issues.
What do you say guys should I go for it? or you have some more suggestions?

ram problems-not anymore and the phone rocks the kitkat update
battery-easily works beyond a day
headphone music-Pretty much like every xperia phone
Speaker-loud and can be made louder by tweak

Looking for new tablet maybe from China but having a hard time finding it

Im currently having a samsung tab 3 tablet and Im looking for a new one.
I been looking on chinese sites like dx.com and aliexpress.com and looking for android 5.0 or higher and ca. 10" but those I find have a lower screen solution that my current tablet, and thats not gonna work
I use my tablet a lot for games and want a good gaming tablet, quadcore or octa core and android 5.0 and last a good screen solution.
But im having a hard time finding a tablet that meet the things i want, most 5.0 tablets from china has 1024-600 resolutions.
Hope someone can help me find a new tablet. thanks
